Colter Cabin - Cabane en rondins classique avec vue sur le grand ranch

Ceci est la cabane en rondins classique (avec une nouvelle cuisine!) que vous cherchiez. Situé à Driggs, Idaho - 45 miles de Jackson Hole et 97 miles de Yellowstone. Peut accueillir 2 adultes dans un lit queen, et une autre chambre a un lit de repos double et un autre matelas double pour le sol. Nommé par Men's Journal «la meilleure petite ville d'Amérique».

Parfait pour un couple ou une petite famille, retraite d'artiste / Ă©crivain, lune de miel, observation d'oiseaux, randonnĂ©e, kayak, ski, pĂȘche ou tout simplement profiter de l'air frais.

Colter Cabin est situé sur 7 hectares entourés de ranchs et de trembles. Vues du domaine skiable de Grand Targhee et de Grand Tetons depuis le pont avant. 25 minutes en voiture de Grand Targhee pour le grand ski de poudreuse et 65 minutes en voiture sur le col pour skier à Jackson Hole. Ski de fond et raquette par la porte d'entrée ou sur de nombreux sentiers damés à proximité.

Grand kayak sur les riviĂšres Teton et Snake et VTT dans les montagnes Big Hole. PĂȘche Ă  la mouche Ă  Leigh Creek, Teton River et Henry's Fork. En sortant de chez vous dans le Jedediah Smith Wilderness. Belle Leigh Creek Ă  distance de marche. Équitation et golf disponibles Ă  5 min. une façon. La ville chĂ©rie de Driggs avec de jolis restaurants et boutiques est Ă  7 miles en voiture.

Jackson Hole (50 minutes en voiture) regorge de galeries d'art, de boutiques, de musĂ©es, de restaurants, d'excursions en bateau sur le serpent, de ski de fond et de ski alpin. Les aĂ©roports d'Idaho Falls et de Jackson sont tous deux Ă  75 minutes. Le parc national de Yellowstone est Ă  100 miles au nord - entrez Ă  West Yellowstone. Island Park et Henry's Fork, une zone de pĂȘche Ă  la mouche de renommĂ©e mondiale, sont Ă  40 minutes au nord.

This property was as advertised. The Colter Cabin was extremely clean and the location was outstanding. Views of the Teton Mountains were beautiful and the horses practically in the back yard were inspiring. Our stay was relaxing and a convenient hub for our planned activities. Exceeded our expectations!!

Minutes from Fun

The Cabin is in a great location, my family and I were able to enjoy Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park using the West Entrance, and Idaho Falls while staying here. The cabin made our trip so much better.

Very nice and secluded cabin with beautiful views. Close enough to local restaurants and grocery stores. Plenty of local places to hike and explore if you don’t feel like making a trip over the mountain pass to access the national parks. The cabin itself was clean, warm, and cozy. Would highly recommend.

Great location with spectacular views. The only draw back was there was no tv option and we had to use our own streaming passwords if we wanted to watch any thing. The remotes were very complicated to use. After a long day sightseeing or early in the morning it would have been nice to have tv. Unfortunately? Based on this, this rental would not be an option in the future.

1st time out west

Stayed here while visiting the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The cabin was great! Clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. The only problem was its location in regards to the parks. 1.5 hour drive to Yellowstone and 1 hour drive to Jackson and the Tetons.

Truly outstanding property!

This is a one-of-a-kind property bear beautiful Driggs, Idaho. If you are skiing at Grand Targhee this is the perfect spot to be within 30 minutes of the resort, but in a very private setting. Ginger, the host, was great. Kitchen is perfectly stocked, bathrooms are great and the cabin is amazing!

Nice cabin

It is a secluded very cute cabin! Things were well stocked. Sunset views over the ranch were awesome. There are 12-15 horses in the backyard (neighboring ranch) that are very fun to watch at all times of day! The drive to GTNP, Teton Village, and Jackson goes quick and is beautiful.

Serenity Now!!

This cabin should be named Serenity Now!! It was the most PEACEFUL, quiet, and beautiful place I have ever stayed. Nestled on many acres of farm-land with a view of the Tetons and Mountains all around, this was a dream! If you want peace, tranquility, and to get away from it all with a ton of outdoor adventure close by then this is THE PLACE!

Time to Get Away

The Colter Cabin was a fantastic “get away spot” for my wife and I. It was a beautiful cabin that was on a quiet road away from a lot of people. There only traffic was farm and ranch traffic and we hardly noticed. The views were great. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the upstairs balcony and watching the sunsets. Just a great cabin for us!!!

Loved our stay!

Great place to stay on the back side of the Tetons and wanted to stay longer. Was hazy from the California smoke but cleared to give us a really great view. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for us! And watching the horses morning and evening was so nice. The stars were amazing. Highly recommend Harriman state park, Mesa Falls and the scenic drive south to Palisades Reservoir and (not the real) Grand Canyon. Thank you. It was really wonderful.

Far West

Idaho is one of my faves, and we enjoyed being in horse country with views of pastureland, horses, and an occcasional deer. We expected a view of the Tetons as indicated in the listing's photos, and that was not the case, but within a short distance up the dirt road there were wonderful mountain views. Lots of recreational vehicles as well as horseback riding available.

The colter cabin is just beautiful . The wood work and special touches are perfect . You have everything you will need for your stay . The view from the den and the master bedroom are so beautiful . Sunsets are amazing and it’s so inviting to just sit and watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine . You are close to the grocery store and easily accessible to Jackson Hole , Teton National Park and west Yellowstone ( a little bit of a ride but beautiful) we will definitely make our way back here. We bought this cabin in 2001 as a vacation getaway for family and friends. Jim worked for Jones Lang LaSalle and Ginger taught Montessori. We started ColterCabins and use the cabin ourselves for many weeks each year. We now split our time between Tetonia and Uruguay. Our family uses the cabin often, so the kitchen is always well equipped and the beds are super-comfortable. We love to hike, ski, kayak and cook big dinners for family and friends.

This area of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana is just gorgeous. There are so many beautiful areas to visit – mountains, waterfalls, rivers, fields of wildflowers throughout the summer, and great snow all winter. You will want to be outdoors every day of your stay! Late spring is the best time to see the animals with their new offspring, and October brings the spectacular golden "quaking" leaves on the aspen trees.

Our wood-burning fireplace is the classic traditional stone fireplace of your dreams. Lots of wood is stacked on the porch. The new kitchen with all stainless appliances is a treat as well. Cozy furniture, a large copper dining table, down comforters and quilts - we try to create an experience you will love. Note the elk chandelier in the great room - the Boy Scouts in Jackson collected all the antlers. The views of the Big Hole Mountains over the ranch next door are spectacular - especially for sunsets. Peaceful, quiet, only the rustling of the aspen leaves out your door.
