Cornfield Point Cottage

Nuestra acogedora cabaña RECIENTEMENTE RENOVADA está justo en la playa. 🏖 No puedes estar más cerca que una casa en la playa. Gran lugar de pesca por la puerta de atrás, paddleboarding, natación, kayak, puestas de sol, largas caminatas, gran sendero para bicicletas local.

Ubicado a solo minutos del centro de Old Saybrook.

Hay dos baños, uno está ubicado en el primer piso (1/2 baño) cerca de la entrada y la cocina. El segundo baño privado completo se encuentra en el segundo piso. También se incluye en su estancia una ducha al aire libre con agua fría y caliente.

¿Qué hacer?
Dos importantes tiendas de compras premium, Westbrook y Clinton. Casinos galardonados, Foxwoods y Mohegan Sun. Cerca del puerto de Mystic, el acuario de Mystic, el castillo de Gillette, el ferry New London que sale todos los días a Block Island y Long Island. Hermosas playas. Vida nocturna de New Haven 25 minutos al sur en la I-95 o el restaurante de Middletown a 25 minutos al norte en la ruta. 9)

¿Moverse?
La estación de tren está a 5 km de la cabaña para viajar fácilmente a Boston y Nueva York, ubicada en Old Saybrook, con estacionamiento de cortesía. Essex Taxi y Uber ofrecen servicios de transporte en la ciudad.

Otras cosas a tener en cuenta. Las ordenanzas de sonido de las fuerzas de la ciudad a las 10 p.m.

Lovely waterfront home for small family gathering

This lovely home has beautiful outdoor spaces and a breathtaking view of Long Island Sound. Jonathan is an extremely responsive and helpful host.

Great property

We had a wonderful weekend with friends at Jonathan and Kelly's house. It was an awesome location, and the house was perfect for our needs. We had littles (our kids were all 2 and under), and we found everything we needed there! Lovely yard and great access to the beach and water.

amazing beach house

Had a great weekend get away with friends at this amazing house. Jonathan was very easy to reach and the house was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the house and the water. Would highly recommend staying here.

Easy get away

Jonathan was a great communicator. He answered our many texts in a timely manner. Thx he house had what we needed: well stocked kitchen, beach items, outdoor eating area, grill, and more. We’ll definitely return.

Amazing views

Jonathan and Kelly’s property is right out of a post card. It has the best view in CT and the home is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

Amazing beach home

We were looking for a beach location to celebrate my birthday and am happy to say we found the perfect spot! The beach home was meticulous and had a nautical vibe with the decor, very pretty. The best room in the house was the sun room located in the back of the house. Large windows provided gorgeous view of the water with a comfortable couch to relax on as well as a table to enjoy breakfast watching the birds on the rocks. I have to mention that Jonathan and Kelly had this home fully stocked with everything you would need (including binoculars for bird watching along with shampoos and soaps for the bathrooms an sunscreen/bug spray for outdoors- a really nice touch!) Now for the outside! Right on the water, along with chaise lounges , umbrellas and a table with chairs. We went down to the water (6 steps) with the beach chairs they provided and let the water soak our feet as we enjoyed the breeze. The best part of the trip was watching the sun set as we laid on the chaises sipping a glass of wine- Magnificent! One more feature I need to add is the comfort of the bedroom. We opened the windows and let the waves lull us to sleep. Was delightful! The hosts, Jonathan and Kelly were fantastic. Quick to respond and you could tell they take pride in their home and want you to enjoy it as much as they do I could go on and on but I won't! I will say we will definitely be coming back!!

Relaxation and comfort by the shore

Just back from a truly wonderful short stay at Jonathan and Kelly’s gorgeous beach house, where our group of 8 (4 moms and 4 14-year old boys!) felt comfortable, well taken care of, and perfectly relaxed. Impeccable grounds with a gorgeous view, well-appointed and beautiful decor, all the indoor and outdoor amenities we could want or need were provided. Hosts were thoughtful, responsive and helpful. Only wish we booked a longer stay - hopefully next summer!

Reunion

The property is stunning in its waterfront view from the patio and sunroom. Comfortable set up for our group of 6 women—enough chairs, tables and the key factor—our own beds! Friendly neighborhood. There is a big misprint however in the number of baths. There’s 1 1/2 baths not 2 baths and 2 half baths so that was a letdown. The outdoor shower is not enclosed. Beautiful lawn and plantings. Jonathan was very nice & prompt in replying to my inquiries. We had a great time!

Fabulous up close Ocean View with big windows & Nice Beach!

I will rent here again and again. The view is perfect! The back of the house has gloriously big windows. The house is clean and smells good. The beds are fine and the house is in good condition. The neighborhood is charming and fun to walk around too. Lovely place to walk a baby in a stroller. Great beach!

Perfect views, location, and accommodations

This newly renovated home offers many brand new appliances, newly refurbished and designed common areas, and lovely extras like high end wireless speakers. The patio area faces the ocean and has sturdy furniture with new cushions. Even the best photos can't communicate the joie of the expansive view and the convenience of being 4 (steep) stone steps to the water. The Cornfield Point association beach is a few minutes walk and very well-maintained. All in all it was a great week of walks, bike rides, swimming, and relaxing.

Beautiful New England Summer House

Charming New England town. The property owners are amazingly accommodating. Could not ask for a better CT shore vacation home for families and friends. The views and water access are amazing! We will be coming back for many years to come!

We had an amazing time at Jonathan’s beach house. Jonathan was a perfect host with great communication and extremely accommodating. Perfect location in a perfect beach community. Everything you need is provided for you! Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was magical! We will be back!

Great location on the water

House is partially updated but very pleasant throughout. The floors upstairs are in dire need of updating but overall a great house in a fantastic location. The owner was very cordial.
