Beautiful house right on the beach. The floor plan was excellent. We could all hang out on the main floor and visit each other without feeling crowded. We loved having two dishwashers, two refrigerators, two washer/dryers, and ice machine...great house for a big crowd. Would love to stay here again.

Such a beautiful place

We celebrated my father's 75th birthday here with his siblings and they had a fantastic time! The house is right out the back door and you can swim, or fish or just watch the ocean! Everyone was able to have their own bedroom and the house has everything you need! They all raved about it and no one wanted to leave! It was a great time!

Breath taking

This property was everything I’d imagined it to be and more. It was beautiful, more private, and huge. There was plenty of room for everyone. The view of the beach was amazing. The heated pool came in handy on the more chilly days or when the waves were too rough for the kids. It was nice being away from the busy town but also a short drive if we needed anything. Our vacation in this home was well spent and I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful beach house (but BYO beach towels)

Beautiful beach house steps from the surf. Pool and shaded deck were amazing. But you need to bring your own towels, which is a hassle. Bunk bed rooms provide lots of extra sleeping spaces. Could have more beach gear (umbrellas chairs....). So close to perfect!

Beautiful Home

This house was incredible. We had our entire family there for thanksgiving. They had everything you could possibly need prepare a thanksgiving meal. There was plenty of room for everyone in the house. We were even able to all sit together at the dining table for dinner. There was plenty of room for storage. Everything was super clean. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!

Overall the property was very nice with several great features like the extra refrigerator, ice maker, 2nd dishwasher, elevator, 2nd set of washer/dryer, large dining area and living space. A few small maintenance items needed attention- rotting wood on deck chairs, arms loose or falling off dining chairs, refrigerator handle was loose and mis informed about grill using charcoal. We brought charcoal and discovered it was a gas grill that didn’t have a propane tank - we had to purchase a tank which we left

Worth it

This is a beautiful property. The beach is gorgeous and not full of people. The home has great amenities such as an elevator to haul the luggage up and down from vehicles to each floor. There is a washer/dryer on the main floor and 3rd floor. This is a great perk for families such as ours. You are able to wash clothes, take hot showers and utilize hot water everywhere at one time. It is fantastic. The pool was awesome. We went over Christmas break so the weather wasn’t as cooperative. We swam every day even when it was cooler. Excellent property for families. We willl return.

Barefoot was as advertised and more.

I recently traveled to Gulf Shores with our high school baseball team to participate in a local tournament. While in Gulf Shores, we chose to stay in the property known as Barefoot. Our experience was absolutely magnificent. The property was absolutely as advertised. The house sits right on the beach and the boardwalk down to the beach is super nice. We were able to get all 17 boys in a bed along with my family and my assistant coaches family. The living area and kitchen area were both open and offered so much room for the kids and coaches to gather. At night, we gathered on the deck out back and really enjoyed the breeze coming off of the ocean. I anticipate returning to Gulf Shores again next year for the same tournament and I guarantee that we will make every effort to stay at Barefoot again.

Wonderful vacation for a family

There were 18 of us in total. Ranging from 60-3. Our 3 year old granddaughter is handicapped, and the elevator made it perfect for her to stay. The house is a perfect size for a big family vacation. All the parents had their own on suite, and the kids had plenty of bedrooms to chose from. The living space made it possible to visit, play games, or just hang out where everyone was comfortable. The house was well equipped with necessities, and was very clean. I was concerned about the pool being small prior to vacation, but it’s actually a perfect size, and we all enjoyed it. The boardwalk to the beach was perfect for our granddaughter, and myself since I have bad knees. I was in contact with the management, and they were quick to respond. Thank you again for allowing us to rent this beautiful home.

Overall great trip, one main issue.

Barefoot is a great place to stay! Access to the beach was the best we have ever experienced, very close. We have been traveling to the Alabama Coast for several years now for a large family vacation. We did experience some maintenance issues, a/c on the second floor leaking through the master closet on the first floor and into carport. We checked in on Saturday and noticed the leak on Sunday. Once we saw the leak we immediately called to report problem and someone was out to fix the a/c leak that day which is difficult for the weekend. I spoke with some lady, name beginning with “L”, and she was more than helpful, thanks! We were even compensated for our troubles. We had to wash two of our party’s entire clothing and luggage. Repairs to the ceilings need to be made and we were assured they would be for future renters. I hope so. Other than that everything was great! Would stay there again, assuming updates made. Thanks for a great trip!

Great Location, needs some updating

Overall our stay was really good, however the property needs some work... Pros: -Location -beach -large private pool -Large space for multiple families Cons: -Not well maintained. Lots of damaged walls, dingy furniture and finishes. -Mold (?) in master bathroom -Kitchen not fully equipped. Broken mixer, no cookie sheets, oven was not cleaned and would smoke when we used it. -Upon arrival there was sand in a few of the beds, so some of my guests were worried the sheets weren't washed. Maybe its just what happens when you're on the beach, but we haven't had that issue with other rentals on beaches. -Ants in the kitchen While maybe this isn't a huge deal, for the amount of money we spent, and comparing it to past rentals, its disappointing. I know Harris is a large company and its probably hard to maintain them all. hopefully after reading this, they will address these issues for future guests.

Perfect for families!

The house was perfect for our families. It fit our needs. We all had a wonderful time, everyone expressed comments coming back, and renting the same house. Regarding an issue we experienced, return communication was a little slow. Spectacular views, just feet from the ocean

We had a wonderful time at Seaglass. We literally stepped out the door and onto the beach. The pool was also a great reprieve from the sand. The beds were comfortable, clean, and plentiful. A great time was had by all. We would definitely return.

Loved the property! It had everything I needed. So much space for our family. I cant say enough good things. I did however have to leave a day early in a rush do to hurricane. This was beyond anyone's control...just hate feeling rushed. It's a tradeoff though. I would highly recommend!
