About this property

A Four Seasons Tree House With All Amenities Of A Home

Our tree house is on fifty acres in central Minnesota, about two hours north west of the twin cities. The tree house is a refreshing break away from the ordinary.

The tree house sits 18 feet off the ground on a ridge over looking Rock Lake. Its surrounded by our 50 acres and 500 acres of state land, we enjoy a lot of wildlife, peace and quiet here. Throughout the land there are a lot of trails for walking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. In the summer you can enjoy paddle boating and kayaking.

The tree house is built of almost all home sawed lumber. It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, a sitting area in both the loft and the main level. It also has heating and air conditioning making it possible to rent year round. There is a wrap around porch on three sides and a deck out front, To access the tree house you will walk over a thirty foot covered bridge that touches the ground on one side for easy access.

The treehouse is absolutely stunning! Everything was clean, well stocked with anything you'd need and the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The construction and details are beautiful. My husband and I visited in the winter and we are excited to come back in the summer or fall to enjoy the walking trails, lake, and enjoy the views. Fabulous hosts! Thank you again for a great stay!

The Tree House cabin is a unique place- beautifully constructed, with wonderful craftsmanship. We visited in winter and the cabin was clean and cozy. Very quiet there, with lots of trees and solitude- just what we wanted. The hot tub was well maintained and felt great. A few small amenities would enhance the experience: a place to hang the dishtowel to dry, more functional hooks in the bathroom, and better lamp-lighting in the downstairs bedroom and the main sitting room (for writing, book-reading, etc.). The Tree House was a great getaway for us!

The tree house was adorable! We stayed here for my daughter's 16th birthday with a few friends. They stayed in the loft and I stayed in the master bedroom on the main floor. I brought some food to cook for dinner, so know that the appliances are made for a small space. They did provide smaller pans that would fit the stove. Also, the loft is accessible only by ladder, so you'll want someone staying up there who can navigate that. The girls had a blast! Thank you!

We loved the quiet and cozy getaway at the tree house! The kayaks and paddleboat were great for the sunny, warm days, and the hot tub was perfect for the chilly days. The grocery store in town was only a 7 minute drive, which was convenient for getting the essentials or anything we forgot. Donna and Dean were great hosts!
