Beautiful ,Quiet, Private 1.85 acre, multigenerational family owned Lake Home on clean Mound Lake. With breath taking views and spectacular night skies. It's a great place to bring your family and friends, with year round relaxation, fishing, and summer swimming. Comes equipped with option to rent 24' pontoon boat, 2 non motorized boats, kyacks, A/C heat pump system, a smart TV, stereo, DVD, fully equipped kitchen, Weber and gas grill, patio tables and chairs, washer, and dryer. Has a large yard and newly constructed sandy beach, with plenty of space for young and old to enjoy. There is also an area for the evening bonfire for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Large dock area provides sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine while watching perfect views of gorgeous mound lake . Enjoy the great escape and listen to the loons!

Fall/ Winter
Enjoy some of the best winter sports our lake home has to offer. Snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing are all popular with many trails in the area. Fall is also a great time to visit us with still warm days and crisp autumn nights. Minnesota's fall colors are second to none.
Whatever the season, you will have a vacation your family will remember for years to come.

Mound lake has a perfect balance between recreational and the fishing enthusiast. The lake is 273 acres, max depth of 57 feet, with 70% of lake being 15 feet deep. There is a boat launch near by to bring your own toys.

The overall experience was good with good indoor entertainment options like games, movies and internet service, which came in handy with the bad weather we had that week. The cabin was spacious with plenty of room for the 6 of us. The cabin had a great view of the lake with the trees giving some seclusion from the neighbors, creating a more pleasant view.

Lovely all ages cabin with quiet , serene and beautiful surroundings. Large kitchen, lots of plates, glasses, cook ware. Comfortable couches, beds and space. It was a short trip and we enjoyed our time. Only drawback was a coffee machine that was not working properly. Owners called at one point to check to make sure outlets were working. Appreciated the call. Lovely overall experience.

Johnson's Moundview has been in the family for generations. The original owners, George and Vivian, were sweethearts to the end of 62 happily married years! Together they had 11 children and this was their family vacation home. Nearly 8 decades and 5 generations later, it continues to be one of the Johnson family's favorite destination. Their vision was to bless as many people as possible with the lake home, and so the tradition carries on!

Why they chose this property

Mound lake is crystal clear! Great fishing, swimming, and just far enough away, but not too far, to relax. Cabin has a very open air feel, and able to have good, quality bonding time.
