Steps from the sand, this house has everything you need to have a fantastic vacation. Completely remodeled with exquisite finishes including travertine and hard wood floors, granite countertops, and crown molding. You can lounge on an outdoor couch and see and hear the ocean from the luxury of home or you can walk a few steps to experience an unspoiled beach paradise. All 3 bedrooms are downstairs, including a huge master bedroom with en suite bath, french doors to backyard, skylights, and walk in closets. The kitchen, living room and wrap around deck are all upstairs with an ocean view which makes it perfect for entertaining. Each room has a television in it.

If you use the propane tank in the fire table or barbeque current guests are responsible for refilling for the next guest that arrive.

Clean property that is convenient to the beach and has a wonderful sundeck. The property description is accurate and nice to have two full bathrooms. Plenty of towels provided as well as laundry facilities. We would stay there again if we visit Oxnard.

Beautifully situated and the beach house was perfect for the occasion, it has all the amenities needed. The view was perfect for a relaxing weekend I could have stayed here for a week!! The beach is stunning too! Sandra was very nice and accommodating, and must mention the very, very comfy beds!!

Loved this place and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect location to walk to the beach, as well as restaurants and grocery. Bikes were fun. Weather amazing! Best part is being able to hear and see the ocean from the top balcony. Very relaxing stay!!!

Loved walking steps to the beach! The upstairs deck and downstairs patio provided plenty of space for our party of four (me, husband, adult daughter and her boyfriend) to have our own place to hang out. We cooked dinner most nights, and enjoyed breakfasts around both the kitchen table and the deck table. Best part for us is we only live 1.5 hours away, a quick drive to wonderful weather and a home close to our own. Thank you!

Ideal location to walk to the beach. The teenage grandkids enjoyed kayaking (kayaks provided) in the nearby harbor where you can also watch the seals. From the balcony, you can see the ocean through neighboring houses, and there was usually a nice breeze. The house stayed very pleasant with the windows open. We enjoyed the area with lots of shopping and eating locations nearby. We will be back!

Our stay at the lovely beach house was just about perfect. Our host was incredibly responsive, the home was perfect for our family and pups, a very short walk to the beach, and we all had the best time. I will definitely book this lovely home again when we head up the coast.

Absolutely beautiful home. Fully stocked with kitchenwares, towels and hand soap. Host was communicative and able to accommodate a last minute change to check out day. The house truly is a short walk to the beach and my kids loved it being so close. It’s nearly in the back yard! Plenty of places to sit, linens were clean and the decorations through out the house really brought the beach to you. The only thing that would have made it better is batteries in the remotes to use the TVs but honestly, it didn’t matter that much because we hardly just sat around. Love, love, LOVED our stay and plan to come back. Thank you Sandra for being such a great host and allowing us to stay in your house.

I grew up in California and fell in love with Silver Strand Beach as it is still unspoiled and uncrowded. Everyone who lives in this small community is very mellow and welcoming. Its like Mayberry by the ocean. We remodeled this house without the intention of renting but are happy to share our beach retreat with others.

Why they chose this property

This beach house is tastefully decorated and has been totally remodeled with travertine and hardwood floors, thick crown molding, curved walls, skylights, granite countertops in bathrooms and kitchen, stainless steel appliances, walk in doorless travertine shower . All three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the ground floor and the kitchen, living room and 3rd bathroom are on the top floor along with a wrap around deck. All rooms on the top floor have ocean views which is perfect for relaxing or entertaining while only being steps from the beach.

What makes this property unique

The best part of this house is the view of the beach from deck, kitchen and living room as well as being able to walk steps to the wonderfully uncrowded Silverstrand Beach. This house is so far from a public parking lot it is like a private beach just for you. We have very comfortable outdoor furniture for resting outside, listening to the waves and breathing the ocean air.
