Located on the Sugary Sandy Beach - walk to THE HANGOUT, PINK PONY, SEA-N-SUDS - with a large balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This professionally decorated condo is where you want to be for your next beach vacation! It is convenient to dining, a grocery store, shopping, and various entertaining activities. There is a large outdoor pool and a fitness center overlooking the Gulf. If your muscles get tired you can warm them up in the sauna.
Besides a great building and great location, the Condo itself is spacious with 3 Bedrooms and 3 Full Baths. The master has a King-size bed with a great gulf view and access to the balcony. The private bath has double vanity sinks, a jacuzzi tub, a separate tile shower, and walk-in closet. The front bedroom on the left has a King-size bed with a private full bath and closet. The front bedroom on the right has two twin beds with access to the main full bath. Each room has a flat screen TV with DVD if you prefer to relax inside. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, pantry, granite countertops, double stainless steel sink, toaster, casserole dishes, pots and pans, and coffee maker. It also has a bar with 4 stools for dining. The open floor plan allows for a great view from the kitchen.. The dining room has a large table with 6 chairs if you choose to dine in. There is a Dinnerware place setting for 6 with an unbreakable set in the cabinet as well. A wet bar with a granite counter top is located near the living room for convenience. The living room has a very comfortable couch and loveseat. Both have a great view through the floor to ceiling windows and door. It has a 46" screen TV with a DVD player. A washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board are located behind double doors in the hallway. The A/C unit has a cleaning system attached to it for those with allergies. Free Wi-Fi. Last but not least - the balcony. There is plenty of room on this spacious balcony overlooking the beach and beautiful Gulf of Mexico. I have always loved the beach! I will be a phone call away to ensure you have a wonderful vacation on the sugary white sands of the Gulf. I have always wanted to have vacation property on the beach and am excited to be the property owner and manager. I take great care of our vacation home and want to have guests that will enjoy it and take care of it, too!

Why Paula Gaughan chose Gulf Shores
I have vacationed on the Gulf all of my life and believe our Condo is in a beautiful location and the San Carlos is a beautiful building. Also it has three elevators that are faster than the others that I toured! The quality of the furniture and decorations was greater than the others. Two of the bedrooms have their private full bathroom and the other one has access from the bedroom to the bath and hall. The master bedroom is large and has a double vanity and walk in closet, as well as a large bathroom with a double sink vanity, tile shower and tub with jets.
What makes this Condo unique
Since this condo is on the 12th floor, it has the best view of the Gulf of all the ones I was shown. Great views from the Living room, Dining room, kitchen, and Master bedroom. The balcony was also larger than most of the condos I visited which was very important to me. It is also within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The A/C has an air cleaning system for people with allergies!

Very good location and nicely decorated condo, but experience tainted by owner.
We stayed at this condo from for four weeks in Feb/March 2018. Condo was nice, but expensive for what you get. Needs some TLC and updates, as living room furniture and carpet are soiled and kitchen counter tops, stove and refrigerator need replacement. Dishwasher and patio furniture had to be replaced during our stay, resulting in several disruptions to our vacation. When the keypad battery failed, we were locked out for nearly two hours waiting for a locksmith to make the repairs. According to building management, owner is supposed to leave a key with them for use in such events. All of these experiences represent poor quality control and served to dampen our opinion of the condo. The clincher was when the owner deducted $65 from our security deposit, alleging, that an extra set of king-sized sheets were missing - which we did not take! We have filed a formal complaint with HomeAway/VRBO. We will never rent from this owner again!
We are disappointed that we were unable to meet your expectations as we strive to ensure our guests enjoy our vacation home as much as we do. We have had several guests in Dec 2017 and Jan 2018 that had wonderful experiences and only have positive things to say about our home. We attempted to accommodate you by giving you the keyless entry code 2 days prior to your arrival, providing you with the housekeeper’s personal phone number, and our personal phone number. When you arrived, you told me that our condo was lovely. You told the housekeeper that you were very impressed with how quickly we responded to your issues. ex. she brought you a lamp to help you see better to read. The living room furniture and the carpet were professionally cleaned before you arrived. During your stay you never mentioned anything about the carpet or furniture. The stove and refrigerator work properly with no need to replace. At your request, we did replace the balcony furniture. It was high quality, comfortable furniture and you were the first guest to complain about it. The dishwasher was replaced at your request as well. The keyless entry pad is a convenience for our guests which alleviates the need to go to an office to obtain a key. The batteries are replaced on a regular basis. A red warning light will flash whenever the batteries are getting weak. This warning begins days before the batteries go dead. We have our own maintenance contacts. When you called about the lock, I contacted our locksmith who responded immediately. The door was open within 30 minutes - not 2 hours. You went to dinner and did not wait on the locksmith to arrive. Some guests misunderstand who manages the units. The San Carlos office does not manage them. Units are managed by contracted management companies or by the owner. We chose to manage ours. The office staff does not know who is in our unit or who should have access to it, nor do they replace batteries in keyless entry locks. You signed a contract stating that the deposit would be held if there were any linens missing. Before you arrived, housekeeping put a new set of gray king-sized sheets on the front bedroom bed. An extra set was put in the closet for your convenience. The day you left, housekeeping reported that the new gray king size sheet set was missing. (First time a sheet set has been missing.) We requested to withhold $65 from your deposit to cover the cost of the missing sheet set. I hope this clears up this review.
Our stay in Gulf Shores for a week at the end of January was perfect. The condo was lovely and perfectly situated for our stay. Close to everything and yet plenty of privacy and room. Flawless experience!!

Loved staying in this condo! Kitchen is well stocked to cook anything you need and lots of space. Beds are comfortable and a bath for each bedroom is a plus. Huge deck with table and chairs for outdoor dining and dolphin watch. Location is perfect. You can walk to many restaurants. shops and bars. Will definitely stay here again and recommend this unit. Paula is responsive to all inquiries and a pleasure to work with.

Wonderful condo, great location!!
The location was great, close enough to walk and get great food and such an easy drive to everything. Condo facility was clean, elevators were fast, easy access to pool and beach. Condo it's self was very nice. Loved the decor, everything worked well- no complaints ! This condo is close to the elevator which was nice. We would rent again !!

The condo was in excellent condition. Very clean and well decorated. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. The view from the balcony, living room and master newsroom was beautiful! Within walking distance to restaurants. Will definitely stay there again!

We had a great time at the beach and really enjoyed the condo. It was very comfortable and clean. We have decided to come back every year in August. Loved it!!!
Within walking distance from the famous Hangout where you will find live music, food, and drinks. Hosts a variety of musicians and festivals. Also 10 miles from Flora-Bama Lounge and Oyster Bar. The Pancake House is next door and Sea-N-Suds restaurant is a 5 minute walk. The Gulf beach is directly beside the Condo!
