This beautiful 4 bedroom SINGLE STORY- FAMILY FRIENDLY home is located in the elegant gated community of Palo Alto, Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste Costa Rica. The Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains are simply beautiful. If you are looking for a totally Private , Peaceful and serene vacation spot , look no further as Casa Manana is your destination!
The Beach is only a short 3 block walk or drive. If you feel adventurous there is snorkling , jet skiing, fishing, surfing, and many other activities available.
Casa Manana includes 4 large bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 6 remote controlled air conditioners, and a large open living room/kitchen area with 15' vaulted ceilings. The island kitchen/ dining area seats 8. The floor to ceiling glass windows offer a beautiful view of the pool and Ocean. You'll want to spend most of your time out on the covered patio and in the private pool with waterfall. The covered Patio is a wonderful space to sit and enjoy your day, with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ grill and the pool at your feet.

This house is absolutely incredible. It is fully stocked. They had everything from kids dishes to coffee to-go cups! Everything in the house felt brand new and it is all so well kept. The beds were especially comfortable. We all had our own rooms and our own bathrooms. The outdoor showers were excellent after beach days! The property manager was incredibly lovely and helpful. Hermosa beach is stunning and it’s a beautiful, short walk away from the house. My two kids absolutely loved the pool and my husband really loved the outdoor kitchen. This may very well be the best rental property I’ve ever stayed in. I will 100% be back!!Thank you for an unforgettable experience!!!!!!

All I can say is amazing!!Crystal was quick to answer any questions and was a pleasure to deal with. The house layout is perfect for friends and family. With a kitchen that is well equipped, we had everything you needed for a great stay. We really enjoyed the pool area it was a great space beautiful and relaxing. My favourite was the BBQ area. When we didn’t feel like cooking there are many restaurants to choose from walking and driving distance . All in all the location is great proximity for sightseeing, tours and restaurants. We can not wait to go back!

Casa Manana

We had a fabulous stay at Casa Manana! Grethel was there when we arrived to let us in and made us feel right at home. She was quick to respond to questions and was super helpful! Crystal was also very communicative with us while we were there, and was quick to respond to any question or concern! The place was stocked with everything you could possibly need on your stay! We had the best time and will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved this home, close to amneties yet tucked in just perfectly to give you a feel of peace in the hills. The home and outside property were both well equipped, nothing missing whether needing a wine opener to a floatie for the pool. Let’s not forget about the amazing coffee machine with fresh beans, they also included a bag of beans on the house. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to going back.

Wonderful property in beautiful Hermosa on gated community

Property exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was there including some beach chairs and Jura coffee maker! Pool was great and outdoor kitchen and bbq was very convenient. Close to beach and amenities. Large rooms and bathrooms for all guests. Lots of colourful birds on property. Monkeys by the beach ! Hermosa is a very nice beach area. We will be back.

Perfect Location!

We loved the house! It was in a great location, very quiet and private. An easy to walk to the beach, just know it is uphill on the way back! The pool was great with the outdoor furniture which made it easy to lounge by the pool while the kids played. The house was clean and spacious. We loved our time at Casa Manana and communicating with Crystal with super easy and she is very informative, able to answer all our questions.

Beautiful spacious home

Our family of 8 older adults spent 3 beautiful weeks at Casa Manana. The house was just as described. It was very spacious and accommodated us perfectly. Every couple had their spacious bedroom and bathroom. We didn't feel crowded at all. As we chose not to do any excursions, we spent most of our time at the house. We went for a few walks to the beach which is about 15 minutes away. It was super hot every day and the walk uphill was a little exhausting at times but having a swimming pool made everything a lot more refreshing. We were thankful for the air conditioners in the home. It made sleeping very comfortable. We spent most of our time outside under the covered porch which was awesome when the sun was really hot and of course the pool was appreciated. Having a washroom outside was definitely beneficial especially when using the pool. We also really enjoyed the outside cooking area as we barbecued most nights. Unfortunately there was some construction of a new home happening near us therefore it was a little noisy during the day but it didn't ruin our holiday. It is a very peaceful area especially in the evenings. We had the house cleaned during our stay which is included in the price. We were very impressed with the thorough cleaning she provided. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We were impressed with all the spices that were provided. We would suggest maybe replacing some of the worn drinking glasses. I would highly recommend renting this house.

Short Stay in Paradise

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. The home layout was prefect should we have needed to be inside, but the truth is we only cooked and slept in there :) Seating for 7 in the living room, 4 bedrooms - 5 beds, 4 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything that we needed for preparing a meal, plus all of the essentials. The outdoor sitting space was our oasis for the week. We gathered around the couches, sat in the pool and purely enjoyed the scenery. The outdoor fridge with the grill was just an added bonus. We did lose power and internet a couple of times, but that is to be expected in such a location and to be honest, it didn't interrupt our stay. The pool was cleaned 2x while we were there. Just a note that if you are there, they are told to leave and not interrupt your stay - we used the net that was available for us and provided feedback to Zindis that we were more than ok for someone to come and do their job (we would have even offered lunch). Again, it didn't really effect our stay. We had wildlife visit us on more than one occasion. Coati, Iguanas (many), hummingbirds, butterflies, howler monkeys and birds galore. The beach isn't far away - a longer walk than I wanted, but an easy drive and there is parking. There are vendors as well. Thank you for the recommendation on a car company - they were attentive to anything we needed. We certainly would use them again! Thank you again!!! Your new friends from WI and MN

Amazing Family Trip

We loved our stay in Playa Hermosa. We had 6 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2.5) and the house provided enough space to accommodate us all. We spent most of the day playing in the pool and hot tub. We saw howler monkeys in the back yard and iguanas around the pool. The location was walking distance to the beach. We did have a car for the kids.

Great villa close to Playa Hermosa

We were a group of six family members staying at this spacious villa. It is a 15 minute walk from the beach, about 45 metres vertically so quite manageable. Several good restaurants nearby, and one excellent one - the Hacienda Blu. The kitchen was well supplied for the meals we prepared on site, and the pool was quite welcome in the heat of the day. Bonus points for the pickeball raquettes and court!

Casa Magnificent!

we love casa manana! we stayed at this beautiful home for a week in December with our family of 8... everyone of all ages loved this place...15 min walk to the beach...a few restaurants and a small grocery store ...would recommend this home to any one...the management team was there for us anytime we needed something from checkin to checkout...quite safe and secure....cant wait to come back!..thanks so much for our stay.

Beautiful Home and stay!

Scott and Crystal have a great home that comfortably slept all 6 adults in our group. Clean, close to Liberia airport with easy instructions to follow when driving there yourself. Gus the property manager and Brian the events coordinator were very nice and did a great job checking us in and providing a introduction to the area. Called Gus once to report a dripping toilet that was annoying at night and he had a plumber there fixing it within the hour. Pool was fantastic in the hot weather and hearing the howler monkeys in the distant mountains in the morning was a fabulous way to wake up. The only thing that was a negative was the propane tank ran dry on us during our last meal. I considered that a minor hiccup as we just transferred the meal to the oven. Loved the open air feel of the home. Gated community where the guard was very nice and obviously on top of who was coming and going. Great time, beautiful country with really nice people. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place that doesn't have a lot of hustle and bustle.

Fantastic property

I'll tell you the bits I struggled to find on the other reviews! The villa is in a private gated development about 15 minutes walk from the beach which has 4 bar/restaurants. There are a couple of others dotted about in Hermosa too, plus a posher restaurant called Ginger. Along the main road there are a few small supermarkets and other facilities, and a larger busier town of Playa Coco is about 10-15 mins drive away with tons of places to shop, eat etc. The villa itself is clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed with (just about) a sea view and fantastic outdoor space. The team were incredibly helpful and able to help us with bookings (which were competitively priced versus doing it yourself, have the added bonus of transport being included, and don't necessarily need to be done before you arrive). We absolutely loved our week here - thank you for having us.

The house was beautiful, spacious and perfect for our family of 5, exactly as pictured. It is located in a gated community, on the hillside of the Main Street. Beach is a 10 minute walk across the Main Street. House was equipped with everything we needed-beach chairs, towels. local grocery is also a short walk. Playa Hermosa is a nice quiet town, with nice selection of restaurants. Beach is not very crowded and we always found a spot along the tree line for shade. Definitely rent a car for day trips and driving to Playa de Coco (more restaurants, beach) which is 15 minutes away. It’s easy to message hosts through VRBO APP. The hosts, Crystal and Scott were helpful prior to our arrival with any questions, and suggestions. Definitely contact Michael from Sealife Papagayo for coordinating any excurisions. Michael is wonderful and went over and above with our tours excursions! Lovely, lovely home and country. Will definitely go back!! Pura Vida

Awesome week

The property has an amazing view from the covered porch with enough lounge chairs and covered seating for our group 6 adults. Enough comfortable beds for everyone on trip. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed . Plenty of bathrooms and loved the 2 outdoor showers. They were nice when we finished with beach or excursions to be able to rinse off before going inside. Beach chairs, cooler, towels were all provided. It was “ turn key” as all we had to do was enter Casa Manana and we were set for the entire week. Not dissatisfied with anything as property was described and pictures were perfect. Plenty of places to eat in Hermosa and also just a short drive to Coco to eat as well. Owners were very quick to answer any questions we had prior to trip. Also, if you plan to book any excursions, you have to call Miguel with Sealife Papagayo. He is the “BEST”. We had 3 excursions and he was like a private guide on all 3. He will do everything to make your trip to CR the best ever. Book now with the house and Sealife papagayo on their Facebook page. Pura Vida!!!

Amazing

We had an awesome vacation So much to do one week was not enough. We will be back for sure. Crystal was excellent to deal with and gave great recommendations for things to do and see. The house and pool were just as the pictures and better. The guards and all the local people are so friendly. Can’t wait to return.

Comfortable vibe

Our stay at the property was great. The set up of the home was perfect for our group (adults, teens, and littles). The home was very comfortable and had a nice homey vibe to it. The location was ideal, close to everything and the airport. Communication with property management was easy and they were very efficient with any needs we had. If your looking for a relaxed, clean, comfortable space for your group- this is your home.

Amazing Property, Location and Hosts!

We were travelling with another couples and this property was perfect. Big bedrooms, great washrooms, large living quarters, spectacular outdoor space and tons of room for all. Property is located in Playa Hermosa, a small friendly Costa Rican town where you can walk everywhere. There is a great beach near by, some fabulous restaurants, a half decent sized grocery store and a number of options to explore beyond Hermosa. We certainly recommend this property and will consider booking this place again in the future. My Wife and I first came to Costa Rica with our 5 children in May of 2012 and fell in love with the country and its people. We have been many times since with a year stay in the Brasilito area in 2014-2015 so the kids could go to school, learn another language and culture. We returned back to Canada knowing that one day we would own a little piece of paradise. 2018 would be the year!! We purchase Casa Manana with the intentions of sharing our home to other families who want experience Costa Rica's beauty .

Our home is all 1 level with an ocean view. Just a short 10 min walk to the beach. perfect for families with kids and /or seniors. Zindis (our property management company )has been with the house for over 13 years. The team at Zindis are always available to assist our guests.
