Amazing house and property

The casita was awesome! We had three couples stay there as apart of our wedding party and they had a blast. They spent most of their time either on the large outdoor porch or by the pool at the main house. The casita is a fun renovated two bedroom house with an updated kitchen and a pullout couch. The only constructive feedback that we have was that the hot water was not fully working when we moved in but Karen was great at communicating why and was able to make a temporary change to help out with this. We would definitely come back.

Enchanting Encatada

This house did not disappoint in any way. The property and casita were just beautiful. The house had all that we needed and more. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We truly felt like a part of Vieques living for just a few days in paradise. The property has so much to offer- access to the beach, lovely amenities, close proximity to restaurants and grocery, laundry, beach items to use, security (not that we felt unsafe), gas stove to cook on and grill. We love the simplicity of the decor and the thought that went into every detail of this beautiful home. We just wished we had stayed longer and hope to come back one day!

Hesitate to Recommend

Only because I want this place to not be booked when I need it. The pictures don't do it justice, everything about this house is everything you daydream about looking at it. Beautiful home with incredible touches ( rainfall shower 🙏🏾), amazing location with access to atucked away awesome beach., near the strip of restaurants. I could go on. And, Karen, who checks you in, is so amazing and will go above and beyond to take care of you. Treat her well! We really considered how to become squatters after our stay. Don't wait to book... Unless it's the week I need it.

Extraordinary

The property is impeccably maintained, the communication with everyone on the team was seamless and the location offers one of the most extraordinary respites you'll experience. Karen was accommodating and responsive, facilitated useful information at every turn and was a gracious and thoughtful (and funny!) host. The site is stunning, with an impeccable and thoughtful design that will make you feel at home. Thank you to all.

First class from host to home, and everything in between! One of the best travel experiences ever!

Casita at Encantada Vieques for 7 days was one of the best travel experiences of my life. Always meant to travel to PR, but never made it until now... my only regret of this trip. I got an immediate response from the owner Daniel, answering all questions promptly. He sent me a very detailed message with everything from logistics to recommendations. I could tell he personally has something special for Vieques and wants you to see the island through his own eyes. Karen, the fantastic property manager was available anytime. Wasn’t able to get my rental right away but Karen met me at the airport and took me to the corner market for supplies before heading to Encantada. The property was absolutely beautiful. I never felt unsafe even though I was alone. Photos are very accurate but don't do the place justice... one of those things you have to see with your own eyes. The place was spotless, welcoming, plenty of touches of modern on a foundation of warm comfort. Towels, soap, shampoo, and everything else you could think of are provided. Amenities make home living a breeze, with a dishwasher and full-size washer/dryer, you can maximize your time enjoying the island if you can pull yourself away from the outdoor shower. I sleep terribly, but AC and white noise machines helped even me rest with ease. One of my favorite spots was on the outdoor couch on the beautifully lit porch at night - warm breezes and sipping Medalla, a local must-try brew. Coolers provided for beach days! The ocean and beach are beyond picturesque, but to add to the magic, as I walked back two wild horses just appeared from nowhere. Horses, tropical beaches, and a beautiful blue.. it doesn’t get much better. Encantada is so close to so many of the island’s highlights, “Restaurant Row” and other attractions, I drove only 120 miles total. Karen regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect. She really goes out of the way to show she cares and ensure your stay does not want for anything. The people, the food and culture, and all the beauty and majesty of the island... I can't imagine a better place to call home while staying at Vieques. I consider myself extremely lucky to have discovered this place and would give an absolute 5 stars!! I don't know when I'll be back, but definitely a question of ‘when’ and not ‘if.’ I only hope Encantada will be available. Thank you so much, Daniel and Karen, for making the experience of a lifetime come true!!! Vieques Se Levanta!

Amazing home and beach

Our family of five (including three boys ages 11, 13, and 15) thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Encantada "Little House". The home was very luxurious and furnishings were very high quality. We all loved the outdoor shower! The beach had many interesting features - rocky area for climbing and searching the tide pools for creatures, beautiful sand for relaxing, horses making frequent visits, and the calming waves. Karen was very helpful and made us feel right at home. The only thing that may take some getting used to is the constant sound of chickens and dogs, but that is just another reason that Vieques feel like you are worlds away from home. (The owner also has sound machines in the bedrooms which were very helpful). We will be back!

Beautiful property, excellent communication!

Everything about our stay at Encantada was perfect, we would highly recommend it! From the moment we booked online and received an immediate communication from Daniel, the whole process was easy, professional and truly a pleasure. He immediately sent confirmation and a list of recommendations and helpful tips. We then communicated with the property manager Karen, which also was very responsive and helpful, she even communicated during the trip to ensure we were happy. The house is just as beautiful as the pictures that are posted online. The house was clean, organized to perfection and had everything we possibly needed for our trip, not only all household, cooking items and WiFi, but all beach equipment and coolers too...just bring your clothes! There are windows all around the house that allow constant breezes to flow through that we rarely ever needed the A/C! We have been visiting Vieques for about 7 years now and Encantada is in our top 3 rentals. Its perfectly situated in Esperanza, close to all the restaurants and nightlife for the south side of Vieques, but far enough that you still feel very private. The property is perfect for star gazing at night. The house is very secure, the entire 5 acres is completely fenced in and there is an electronic gate at the entrance to the property, as well as a private locked door structure to get to the beach. The side porch faces the ocean and it was our favorite spot for morning coffee. The beach behind the house is so private and beautiful, we never saw a soul….great for meditating and morning walks to Black Sand beach, or to watch a beautiful Vieques sunset. Thank you Daniel and Tania for sharing your property with us! We will be back again soon.

The tropical cabin is a luxurious renovation of a 2br/2bath casita, supremely located on gorgeous Coco Beach. Stay in this newly renovated, luxury Casita & walk to your own beach that was literally the set of Victoria's Secret Swim 2015. You've never seen better sunsets. Yes, come to Vieques. Yes, stay here. You will not regret it.

Encantada Vieques is my dream property and when you stay here, you'll understand why. Just west of Esperanza and an easy car or bike ride to anywhere on the island, Encantada features five acres directly bordering the Caribbean Sea. The northern side of the property includes a newly constructed white wall with electronic, gated entry. In the northwestern corner of the property is a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath casita with stunning, bright interiors. It has a beautiful outdoor shower and spacious patio living areas designed to maximize your enjoyment of nature and the outdoors. A sleeper sofa in the living room allows the home to sleep six comfortably. The back porch looks directly down towards the sea and reaps wonderful tradewinds. The house has an enormous and quite impressive boulder just outside its walls that is visible from the road.

The home is designed to successfully mix modern luxury with a taste of the island paradise you’re visiting in Vieques. I’ve intentionally left out a TV though there is dependable wireless internet. Air conditioning as well as fans are included in the two bedrooms and windows in the living area open on multiple sides of the home for wonderful trade winds. The home is extremely comfortable and convenient while still giving you a sense of the great escape you’re looking for. The design is youthful, classy and bright.
