Will recommend to anyone.

  • 5 of 5

The property is beautiful, the cabin had everything we needed, and Billy was so kind and generous. This place offers everything, kayaking, canoeing, hiking trails just down the road, and a peaceful getaway to just fish and relax in nature. Billy is a good man, we loved this vacation and will be back again.

Clean, cozy and well-run

  • 5 of 5

Great place to spend a few days while exploring the area. It's a 45 minute drive to Chattanooga but the road is beautiful. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well set up with everything you needed—and if you needed anything else the owner was right there to help. My daughter wanted to try fishing so Bill set up up with poles, worms, chairs and some instructions. Would definitely recommend this place!

Tiny house living on the water ........ Magical

  • 5 of 5

On a map you may look close to "civilization" don't be fooled. That last 12 miles is a very winding road. Bring in everything you might need . Meals . TP. Shampoo and soap . washing powder for the washer etc .. The kitchen had every thing we could have needed in the way of pans and dishes. My husband made wonderful meals in that little kitchen. There is also a grill . Great back deck with a wonderful view. Enjoyed watching a heron take up her prch each day . Saw a deer swim across the water and exit as gracefully as she swam . . Each night I adored the chorus of frog.

Had great fun using the kayaks. And made use of walking trails and parks in the area.

Please take care of this little gem . I am smitten with the place and can't wait to visit again .

. . .

Quite, Private and very beautiful.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was just the right size for us. It was very clean and the owner is nearby in case there is anything you need (but not too nearby). It was very private with lots of wildlife to watch. When he tells you to make sure and go to the grocery store - take his word for it - it is not a drive in and out you want to have to make every day during your stay. Best of all (for me) the air conditioner kept everything nice and cool! Thank you so much for your hospitality.
