The Sandpiper Condominiums Unit 202 is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. The calming colors and ocean ambiance of this unit will put you right into the beach vacation mode that you are searching for.
While located on the second floor, this condo is furnished with tall patio furniture, offering a private balcony as well as a beach view facing the Gulf of Mexico. The front balcony of this unit faces the pool with only a short ride on the elevator, or walk down the stairs, taking you right to this area where you and your company can enjoy the rays of Padre Island, as well as the comfort of the Jacuzzi! The sundeck, also located on the second floor, has a few gas grills for you to whip up your taste buds favorites as well as several charcoal grills in the pool area for some tasty treats. A short walk through the lobby takes your toes right into the sand where you can sit on the beach, listen to the waves and most importantly RELAX!
The entry way, hallways, and bathrooms are fully tiled while the bedrooms and living area are carpeted for your comfort. The living area view is beach front with pull down shades to help keep the sun out in the early morning hours as it rises over the Gulf. The adequate seating arrangement in the living room allows for movie time on the flat 37” TV that sits in the living room with a built in DVD player.
The master suite has a private and newly remodeled bathroom. The walk in shower has clear sliding glass doors, shelving for your toiletries and a built in tiled seat. A single sink with granite counter tops and high ceilings give plenty of room for two. The closet has full length mirrored doors to rid your clothes of the suit case wrinkles. The master suite has a King sized bed, decorative ceiling fan, and a 32” flat screen TV perched on the dresser.
The guest bedroom has both Queen and Twin sized beds as well as a ceiling fan. A full size tub and single sink with granite counter tops make up the second bathroom.

Great property!

We loved our stay here. The ease of checking in, access to beach, clean facilities, availability of fresh linens and towels for beach and pool, all was on point. Only problem, which is minor, is ice maker leaks water into freezer, and we use ice daily. It just meant keeping tabs on it so there wasn't a huge block of ice in freezer.

Outstanding Condo

The view is unrivaled. The beds were so comfortable and the extras were all covered. We were three over 50 cousins looking to relax and have fun away from the MIDWEST WINTER. The unit met our needs perfectly. The front desk is always available for any need. If we had any complaints, it would be the TV cable would not work, often. Someone came to help us get it going the first night but it gave us trouble throughout the week. We were not watching much TV so we managed. There were minimal instructions on how to find live TV and could not access in the bedrooms without the living room TV being on the channel you would want. The other couple needs would be a non-stick frying pan. The front desk gave us one to use. That was a plus. A couple throws to cozy up with in the living room while relaxing would be a nice touch. OTHERWISE......GREAT PLACE, GREAT STAY!

Clean but not quiet

The property was very clean and updated and had all of the necessary amenities. The patio door was warped so it didn't close all the way and didn't lock, but we felt safe enough. I really only had a couple of issues. The bedroom is by the walkway, and the blinds did little to block the light from outside at night so it was bright all night. Room darkening curtains would have been a nice addition. The other issue was just the noise. There were lots of famillies, so lots of kids running up and down the corridors late in the evening, and someone who thought it would be funny to ring the doorbell several times late at night. Outside of that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Most places are going to have a noise issue and I'll have to remember a sleep mask for my next trip!

Surprise! Resort feeling, with ability to cook!

The decor of the condo was lovely, and absolutely clean! Quiet. Barbeques are wonderful, as the ignition button actually works! And they are clean. Loved having the ability to rent shade structure and chairs, and seemingly endless access to beach and pool towels. Every one of staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

Amazing condo!

We had the best time! The condo was clean and ready for us to use. The view of the beach was wonderful! We had plenty of space, and things to cook with. Best beach trip in a long time! We will definitely be back. The condo grounds are beautiful and the boardwalk to the beach is so nice. Plus there are chairs on the beach to borrow while you are staying at the condo. I highly recommend renting from here!
