Not great

Overall, not great. Absolutely no view from deck (pictures were a little misleading and don't show the house that faces directly into the deck--you are basically looking into your neighbors living room.) Outdoor TV and firepit didn't work, which was a massive bummer. Found stains on mattress and pillows to be unsanitary. Shower curtain fell down. As another review here states "not a quick walk" to the beach. You have to drive, which isn't what we were looking for. Also, if anyone has knee/hip issues, avoid this house. LOTS of stairs.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and well appointed. We really loved the community pool and the friendly community of neighbors. Great location - we spent a lot of time at Funland, different beaches, and the pool. Highly recommend the Big Chill which is family-friendly and very closeby. Kevin made everything very easy and was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here for a Bethany getaway!

Wonderful Stay at Bethany Beach!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with a pool. Just a short drive to the beach. We especially loved spending time on the spacious deck.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home in a nice quiet gated community. The home was decorated beautifully and it was located a short walk to the pool. The pool was really nice too.

This is our third or fourth year staying here and we love it! The house is very well maintained, in a gated community with a pool, and a convenient location! It's become a tradition and we can't wait till next year!

COVID-safe getaway

Overall, an amazing getaway for two families from Northern NJ. Lots of beach time (have to drive 5 minutes, pay $10 for day), boardwalk, fishing and shopping. Went on a dolphin and whale watching tour one day and another to Assatigue Island to see the wild horses, stopping in the quaint town of Berlin for homemade "Island icecream" on the way back. The house was beautifully decorated and spacious and and we appreciated the kayaks, beach chairs, bicycles and ping pong table. Wifi worked well for those of us who had sporadic work calls during the week. Second floor laundry room was well used! There is a shower in the garage to rinse off coming in from the beach which was also appreciated. We had the infinity pool to ourselves most evenings. Our favorite part of the property was the outside seating/grilling area- just beautiful! One small disappointment- because of COVID and our younger children being unvaccinated, it was a little hard to find places to do takeout (sometimes several hour wait if at all) so we ended up cooking more than we intended.

Beautiful home but no beach access

The home and community were beautiful. Both were well kept. My only complaint is there is no actual beach access. The listing is misleading as it states beach is a short walk. This is true but the communities are all gates and therefore there is no direct access. We paid daily to park in Bethany. Not something we were prepared to do as we wanted a house within walking distance. The home itself was wonderful. The owner was easy to work with and responded to my questions. The community pool was clean and nice which helped with our stay.

Loved our Stay at the Watermark

Beautiful, spacious and accommodating house. Loved the outdoor living space and the large rooms. Kevin was very communicative and answered all our questions. The community pool was a great bonus and most of the time we even had it all to ourselves :) We got to kayak as well, there’s a path right out of the neighborhood into a private dock. 4 minute drive to downtown Bethany and to the beach, and short drive to other great restaurants and beaches in the area. Only tiny knock is that you can’t actually walk to the beach despite the proximity, but that didn’t bother us. Would def stay here again, looking forward to next summer.

This was a beautiful home and community..We had everything we needed.Communication with owner was great as it was my first experience with vrbo. Super close to beach ,shops etc.. pool was clean and refreshing ..a nice little pier in community as well.

Gorgeous Property!

Can't say enough about this property.... just gorgeous!!! Beautifully decorated with an awesome, large deck off the kitchen. It's a private gated community in the heart of Bethany and just a short drive to Rehobeth and Ocean City. We already asked about renting it again next year!
