Great stay

We stayed for the 4th and really enjoyed ourselves! The pool is awesome, we loved the little ledge with the chairs inside. The pool was clean, and so was the casita. The hosts are very kind and it was a great experience overall. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location near El Paseo. Relaxing cottage and backyard environment. Easy going and friendly hosts. We hope to stay again next year.

Oasis in the desert

We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were delightful. They did such nice touches in the place, all decorated with colors of the desert, leaving us snacks and even decaf coffee and cream. I wish the pool had been heated but I understand the extra expense. A fun little gem.

South Palm Desert Gem

We stayed at Davis Desert Casita for four Nights, very charming property, well equipped with everything we needed and lovely hosts. We loved how walkable to all the amenities we enjoy and highly recommend!

Amazing oasis hideaway!

Chuck and Timmi were absolutely incredible. The attention to detail was top notch with all of the little touches that anyone could ever want. I cannot recommend staying here more!

Lovely Casita

This Casita was the perfect place to stay. The owners were lovely. They provided everything we needed for our stay, including a few snacks, coffee and water. They met us at the property then left us alone. I did have a question and they promplty responded to my question. The casita was beautifully decorated and comfortable. At the end of the stay, the owners let us know we didn't have to do anything but take care of ourselves. We will definately stay here again.

Memorial Day Weekend.

Love Palm Desert and wanted to bring my dogs here before weather gets hotter. We had a great and comfortable stay for 3 nights in La Casita. Everything was very clean, including pool and backyard. My little dogs didn’t go into the pool but they were allowed. Nice neighborhood and location. I took my dogs to El Paseo for a walk (it’s just 5 minutes away)Timmi is a great host! Hope to come back soon 🏊‍♀️🌞

Very clean and neat! Hosts were informative upon arrival to explain all the features of the casita. Coffees, waters, snacks and fruit in the casita were a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay - Attention-to-Detail Paramount Throughout

This was a rarity in todays profit driven, rental world. Everything was so mindfully appointed. Plenty of towels, plenty of Kurig coffee's, even creamer in the fridge, little snacks, multiple places to hang your towels and overall the casita was comfortable and it was perfect for our 2 night stay. We truly felt like guests and everything about our stay embodied a perfect rental experience. Very reasonably priced too - even at a busy time of year!

Cozy spot in a great location

My husband and I recently returned from a 12 night stay and the only complaint we had was the weather. Ha! It was unseasonably cold during our visit, but that certainly was no fault of our hosts. Chuck & Timmi are very friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. At the last minute we had an issue with our dog sitter and they graciously allowed us to bring our pup along too. The unit out back is immaculate and has many extras to make your stay feel special including fresh flowers, snacks and waters. There are lots of clean white towels, silver wear, paper towels, dish soap, nice tv and a comfy bed. The location is super close to El Paseo. It was too cold during our stay, but the swimming pool is right outside the door. One last comment is the neighborhood is super quiet too.

Great stay

We came here for Coachella. The property is less than a mile walk to the shuttle bus stop and places to eat. The place was nice and clean. The hosts are really kind and friendly. The bed was so comfortable. I would 100% recommend

A Desert Respite

The hosts, Chuck and Timmie, are among the nicest people you may meet. They were very friendly and accommodating. The Casita is detached drom the main house and provides privacy.

A couple little snags...

1. We were advised we were not able to check in early and so we waited until 3 pm as instructed even though we had a birthday party to get to and family we hadn't seen in several years so there was a sense of urgency. There was no one there at 3 pm and no one answered the phone, texts, etc. She was apologetic, however. 2. We didn't have hot water for three days. At first we thought we were just impatient waiting, but apparently it was a problem on their end. For $4 you can shower at the City Pool 10 min away. We did. 3. The pool, freezing. We chose this b/c we thought we'd have use of the pool. That was our error. The pool is NOT heated in the winter months. 4. Privacy all around was an issue. Yes, they live on the property as indicated and you have a side entry but you have to pass by their windows all the time, so your stay will not be private at all. 5. Other than the hot water, the only REAL complaint we have is the sweet husband was constantly going back and forth in front of our french doors and making noises and tasking things. We had to keep the drapes closed most of the time which often made the small space feel claustrophobic. The laundry was also going quite frequently which is connected to your wall on the far side so rest times were not quiet. The string lights on at night late hours were also a problem shining into the casita. 6. Other than the things above, the space was clean, the couple was friendly, and if you're ok with a very soft bed, it's golden.

The Best Experience

I normally stay at hotels, because it's a known quantity. But I needed a place to stay for a few days with my dogs, and local dog-friendly places were booked. I scrolled through the listings and this offering seemed too good to be true--but it turns out it is all true! The accommodations are stylish, fun, considerate; the grounds are beautiful and inviting, but most of all the on-site owners are so lovely and helpful! I throughly enjoyed my stay (as did my dogs). I almost don't want to leave this glowing review in case I won't be able to return because more people will book it! The neighborhood is well positioned and safe. The casita and grounds are immaculate. Sisko the Rottweiler says "It's the best!"
