The Wapiti Lodge is located one mile from Bethel Village and sits atop a small hill just outside of town, and here you will appreciate the convenience that this location provides.

Bethel is an ideal location for those searching for an outdoor getaway. Skiing, snowboarding and sledding make the town an obvious choice in the winter and in the summer, canoeing, kayaking and hiking are attractions that draw visitors year-round.

One of our favorite things about the Wapiti Lodge is the outdoor living space. The large firepit is furnished with Adirondack chairs and is arranged to comfortably provide the family with a place to unwind while roasting marshmallows and hotdogs.

The house is settled under tall pines on a spacious lot. Imagine a family vacation where you could ski all day at your choice of two local resorts (both located within a ten-minute drive) and then return to a home nestled beneath tree boughs drooping under the weight of the heavy snow. Later on, you could choose from any of Bethel's restaurants or bars for an Après Ski meal and be back to the house within minutes.

With an attached two-bay garage, unloading snowy ski gear will be easy and an enclosed mudroom gives you a place to hang your clothing before entering the main living portion of the house.

Once inside, the open concept floor plan will be most noticeable. There is a large, open kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. This gourmet kitchen offers a double oven and plenty of space to cook a feast.

The kitchen faces the living room which features a soaring fireplace and comfortable seating area. There is plenty of space for children to play and adults to sprawl out and relax after a day on the slopes. The house is equipped with Sonos speakers capable of delivering music throughout the living area of the house.

The master suite is on the main level and is furnished with a king bed and closet. The bathroom has a his and her sink and a full shower tub combo. There is also a main level half bathroom and laundry room.

Upstairs, there is a loft area open to the living room below. This makes a wonderful space to read, practice yoga or send the youngsters to play on their own or enjoy the flat screen T.V. The two couches both unfold to allow extra sleeping capacity. Two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a shower/tub unit. One bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed and the second is furnished with a queen a twin bunk.
