About this property

Tybee’s Only Oceanfront Resort•Fall Flash Sale at Beachside Colony Resort 3/2

This spacious condo has three bedrooms. There are two King Bedrooms
and one Queen. All bedrooms have a television and Wi-Fi is throughout
the condo. There are two bathrooms. The master bath is located en- suite and there is a sliding glass door that opens to the wrap around balcony from the Master bedroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom which opens off the hallway and has a pocket door that opens into the second King bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a pantry and laundry room.
Beyond the kitchen is an open living area that has a dinning table
that seats six. There is plenty of seating in the living area to watch a large screen T.V. , Cable Wi-Fi and internet There is also a large glass sliding glass door that opens to the tiled balcony which wraps around to a high top table that seats four. In addition there are two high wooden chairs and additional chairs for guests. There is a pretty view of the beach from the balcony.

We thank Dorean and all the ladies for being so kind to us during our reservation process. The pools and the bar were a short walk as well as the ocean. Our favorite meal we had in Tybee was eating at The Deck onsite at Beachside Colony.

Although a little dated, the condo was comfortable. Things that the owners may want to attend to is the ice maker part of the freezer, the light was out over the shower in the main bedroom and also the tv was very blurry/fuzzy in that room, as well. Small things, really. But important. We had to overlook those things but had a nice stay.

We loved the location and access to the beach. The condo was clean for the most part. We enjoyed having our dogs with us, too. The bedrooms where spacious and fit our needs well. I would say the living room space was a bit tight with all the furniture and our number of adults (me and my husband, my parents, and my 17 year ild daughter). I most enjoyed the patio space! The beach breeze was wonderful there in the afternoons/evenings. We felt safe and satisfied with the security of the property as well, and the ease of loading and unloading our belonings with the use of the elevator. It was nice to have the stairwell in close proximity to the unit as well. Only real downside was that the first 2 nights of our stay we had people staying in the condo above us with a little one who loved to stomp and run back and forth at 6:00 a.m., nothing a white noise app on my ipad couldn't fix. All in all, this space was great for our week long stay and served our needs. We would stay here again!

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.
