You can rent this almost 4,000 square foot home on the Lake! This special home sits on 1.2 acres of land, has a private pier, a bon-fire pit in the backyard overlooking the lake, a Workout Center, a 70 inch Flat Screen, a 4 season solarium, a outdoor Dining area , a jaccuzzi tub, a outdoor 6 person Hot Tub....add in a kitchen any cook would die for and you have yourself an outstanding vacation! Lake Koshkonong offers water skiing, tubing, fishing and over 14 bars and restaurants on this 10,500 acre lake.

To have fun on the water the house comes with two kayaks, a canoe and brand new this year is a standup paddleboard! Bring your own boats or I can refer you to companies that rent boats and dock it at the private pier right off of the backyard.

Family vacation

Jim could not have been nicer. The house was beautiful with a large front and back yard. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend both him and this location.

Great Lake house vacation

Our family vacation included both our children’s families: 6 adults and 3 children ages 2-6. The house had plenty of sleeping space for everyone. Awesome, spacious kitchen for prepping family meals. The outdoor space was also great. Big fire pit with loads of seating. The dock was great for fishing, we rented a pontoon and were able to keep it there. The kids enjoyed playing in the water off of the dock as well as using the paddle board and kayaks. Jim is a phenomenal host, he gave us several suggestions for fishing tackle places, restaurants to boat to, etc…

Incredibly stocked house!

Our two daughters and their families stayed at the property for 5 nights. There's no "beach" per se but the 4 kids made great use of the floaties, the kayak and the paddle board that were provided (all in great condition.) The kids are mostly preteens with not much swimming experience so the very shallow water off the end of the pier more made up for no beach. The bottom is firm. Kitchen was great, very well-stocked including spices, oils and flour/sugar. Even some K-cups. Stuff like foil & baggies were also there. Double set of pots & pans and plenty of dishes. We all brought some firewood and, of course, Jim (the owner) had a big pile of it! Kids took advantage of the board games and we did a couple of puzzles. Jim recommended The Outpost for dinner, maybe 2 blocks from the house. Wish we had tried it earlier (tho it's closed M and T) but food was fresh and delicious and very reasonable.

Wonderful place for families to enjoy lake life

Multiple generations enjoyed family time and boating on the lake. Jimmy is an amazing host. We hope to return some time!

Friends and Family and Water Fun

The house was spacious, and truly has almost anything you could think of needing. Lots of lifejackets and lake toys/tubes. He even suggested activities on rainy days based on the kids ages. He was easily reachable by text, and when he stopped by to check the hot tub balance he always checked in to see if we needed anything. Due to the high water level on the lake, when a storm rolled through, at no cost to us, he found a more sheltered dock for us to park our rented pontoon at to keep the boat safe. Plus we had a yummy dinner at the restaurant/pub as well. The hot tub was a fun add on for the kids and adults alike, the kids liked the color changing lights. The campground at the southeast corner of the lake, or the DNR at Rt 26 are both easy locations to get boats or jet skis in and out of the water. They are a 15ish minute drive, and I'd imagine in regular water levels between 15-30 via water. Thanks for the fun week!

Christmas gift weekend

Very nice house, well taken care of. All the amenities of home. Hot tub was nice. We rented a pontoon for a day. Swam and fished off the deck. Caught several fish, walleye, big cat fish, sheep head and pan fish in the rain!

Graduation in Style!

We rented the home for our extended family attending our daughters graduation from the Veterinary Medicine Program at Madison. Jim was wonderful, communication was great and he always went the extra mile to make sure our stay would be perfect. The home is lovely and the view of the lake from the sunroom was a fabulous way to start and end the day. The home was stocked with everything you could need, the beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous...Jim even revealed a hidden toybox with gems for our granddaughter to enjoy! Staying in this home was a pleasure and we would highly recommend!

Best vacation ever!

After a glitch in the beginning of our stay-which the owner worked with me to fix-it turned out to be a great vacation. Good location, right on the lake, beautiful views. And the towns around the area provided plenty of activity if we wanted it.

What a great vacation home

Enjoyable stay

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Great spots in the house to chat and catch up with family and friends. And everything we would ever need was in the kitchen and pantry - which really was a treat when preparing food for the group! And the Host is so nice and helpful.

Great family vacation

We had an amazing time here. Even though the weather wasn’t great, the sun room and hot tub let us still enjoy the outdoors. The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you could need. The lake was nice and shallow with a sandy bottom so the kids are ere able to play in the water while the parents went jet skiing around! The only negative We found is that the dock is very narrow. If a wider area at the end could be installed so everyone could sit and enjoy the water without being in it, that would have been much better. Overall, we had a great trip and the house was a huge part of that.

Perfect family vacation

We had our annual family vacation at Jim's house and are very glad we choose his house. Perfect for our family. 9 of us total. 2 year old, 2 teenagers, and 3 couples. The house is very well equipped. We loved the hot tub. Fireplace is big enough to sit everyone around. It may not have a beach, but you can swim and play right off the dock. Jim is very nice and easy to get a hold of if needed. We will definitely book again.

What a great vacation!

great house by the lake

House was great with large front and back yard. Two Master suites was perfect for our group. We had 11 in our group (3 of those kids) and we had plenty of space and bathrooms. Jim provided kayaks, a paddle board and floats which where all used. We had a great time!

Great Family Vacation

We were a 3 generation family of 9 and used every inch of the house and grounds. It was exactly what we needed! All 4 kids enjoyed biking in the neighborhood and soccer on the lawn and a fire in the evening not to mention the hot tub was a hit for everyone! Jimmy is an excellent host. Highly recommend!

Great house for a family get together

We spent a fun and relaxing long weekend on the lake. Spacious property for the kids to play, with easy lake access. Jim stopped by to give us tour of the property and explain how everything works. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of space to hang out, cook, and converse. Enjoyed using the kayaks and relaxing by the fire pit at night (wood provided). Highly recommend. Jim is great host.

Slice of heaven!

Have not seen my kids and their partners in awhile. We rented Jim’s pride and joy for a 3 night stay and were super impressed with the whole property! Very modern and tastefully decorated. Jim stopped by to give us an introductory tour of everything, came by to check the hot tub each day, and was super communicative throughout the whole process. It was and extremely relaxing stay for a group of 8 adults, plenty of room to stretch out, converse, cook, and play games. Enjoyed the water with the kayaks and paddle board provided, and relaxed by a campfire till late in the evening. We visited a winery and enjoyed food at a couple of great places on the lake too! Highly recommend this stay…could not have been any better. Thank you Jim for being a great host!

Wonderful retreat!

We were in Fort Atkinson for a family wedding. Rather than book individual hotel rooms, we opted to rent a multi bedroom home. This place is gorgeous and CLEAN! Plenty of everything, from kitchen items to bathroom towels. Two sets of washers and dryers, which is unusual (and much appreciated) in a home this size. The owner is accommodating and attentive, without being intrusive. And he’s just so NICE and wants his guests to enjoy their time in the home. The view of the lake from the solarium can’t be beat. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Jim! We appreciate you opening your home to us!

Graduation Weekend at the Lake

This was probably one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed at. The home was spacious and very well equipped. The sun room and outdoor space was absolutely beautiful with the best views of the Lake. The property manager was very attentive to ensure our stay was memorable. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again the next time we are in the area.

Please read my reviews - they will tell you a lot about the property and the type of host I am. I am proud of all my 5 star reviews! I do not believe in "Nickeling and Diming" people with a lot of fees.....for example the house is Professionally cleaned prior to each rental period. This is included in the fee you pay - not tacked on as a "Cleaning Fee". Why should Cleaning Be extra? You are paying for a clean house and from my reviews you can see you will be getting a very clean house. I appreciate the fact that my house has been the backdrop for wonderful family and friends occasions......from Birthdays to Anniversaries to Reunions.....some wonderful memories have been made at the house and that makes me so happy.
