We had to call for the access code the day before we left because it had not been sent to us. The accommodations were rustic but clean and comfortable. We discovered that the door to the unit would not lock so we had to call for help for that. The host came and fixed the lock and all was good. Quiet neighborhood, nice views, and a comfortable bed. It was a good weekend!
If you’re looking for a great centrally located place to stay near Sedona, this is the perfect place to stay. The check in was easy and the accommodations were exactly as expected.
This place is more like an appartment than a hotel room.

It was a decent place with really nice views. The pull out couch was needed but not ready for guests. It wasn't cleaned and had no protective pad. Shower has great pressure and hot water, kitchen was sufficient. King bed was clean and comfortable.
Nice place close to everything we planned on doing for the weekend.

Mountain view and a cute little shared balcony area both second floor and the first floor.
Dog friendly and the room was cozy and clean. We’d love to stay here again whenever we visit Sedona. Neighboring town it’s called Cottonwood was fun too. Quick drive from the property and there is a street with all the nice little local restaurants and shops there. Great area to stay!
Enjoyable. Furniture is a bit dated, but we didn’t spend much time there so not a big deal. Would stay again.

The property was close to the attractions we were in the area to see. The property was easy to find thanks to owner's directions. Area was quiet and we had no concerns for our safety. Very nice view from the balcony with good seating. We are very satisfied with the property and will stay there again when we return to the area.

Old boarding house
Google maps led me 1/2 block away. Once gmaps says youve arrived, If you look behind you, youll see a big red building. Thats it! An old boarding home. Very small and cozy but clean.

Thanks very much! The postal service database for Clarkdale is all messed up (we're over 100 years old, and you would think they would have it right...), but I'm glad you found us.
We were meeting relatives in Sedona and wanted a central location to see Jerome, Cottonwood and Sedona. We weren’t in the room a lot so it met our needs just fine. The room was clean, but being a very old building, it had a musty/cigarette smoke odor and there were water stains on the ceiling in several rooms. It was furnished well and everything we could have needed. Thercocigarettsmoke.

The property was very convenient and reasonably clean. The biggest drawbacks were the cabinets were peeling and misaligned, large crack in one wall, and space heaters that had to be cranked up to maintain area at liveable temp. The price was right but exorbitant add on fees!
If you are looking for upscale, luxury accomodations, move on, this is not for you. The apartment is a bit rough and quirky, but overall clean and comfortable and affordable. The upside is the scenic view and the location. So close to Jerome, the Verde Canyon train station, Cottonwood, Sedona, and Page Springs vinyards. You can easily visit all those places, then come back to peace, quiet, no traffic, and an amazing view.
Overall, decent. The bad - The pictures of the room weren't quite of *the* room we ended up with. The stairs to the 2nd floor common area were absolutely dark and dangerous. We had to bust out flashlights. Bedroom fan's bearings were hurting. Normally there's like a roku you sign-in for streaming stuff. This has Dish. I was tempted to leave behind a roku streaming stick. Water could taste better. The good - The 2 window air conditioners worked decently enough, the shower amenities and cleanliness were decent. 2 TVs. Couch. Chair. Overall not bad, but there was a lot of "hey now, wait a minute, I thought we..." and that stairway being as dark as it was, was out-of-line.

Quiet, good value, easy to find
The bed is very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you will need to cook breakfast or a simple meal. Flowers around the house are beautiful. The stars at night from top drsk are to die for. Restaurants are all in Cottonwood. Try hog wild bbq, Nic's and Mia Thia. We went to moutain bike by Sedona. Bike trails - get there early the area is very popular. My only suggestions- clean up the porch on first floor to be as nice as second floor. Leave instruction on how to turn off heater in room- it would save you money cause nit every one wants heat on. Clean the windows. The views are outstanding but would be better thru a clean window. Don't bother to go to Jerome until afternoon Nothing open before 11 am. Enjoy the area.

Dear Ken,
I so appreciate you taking the time to review your stay with us. I'm glad that you enjoyed yourselves, and will definitely take your suggestions to heart. We've just cleared the lower back patio, and will be hitting those windows, and following up on your excellent suggestion regarding the heater.
We hope to host you again, one day.

clarkdale, az
lots of pots and pans. few dishes, one bowl, one of the two lights was out in the kitchen.
i do not know or recall if the reviews stated there were outside stairs to climb to get to unit. no outside light for the stairs at night.. rope lights would have been nice.
t.v. had limited reception. do not know if it was all over or just this unit.
king bed and heater were great.
shower was good and a view out the kitchen windows was very nice also. unit was quiet and clean, shared patio area was great..
the empty flower pots outside could be consolidated to one place, possibly emptied of cigarette butts...however,.enjoyed stay would return.

Came to the area for just a quick getaway. This was the perfect little hub for our activities. Quiet, quaint, full of history. Excellent communication with the host. Loved the views. The location was great with downtown Clarkdale within walking distance. Out of the way, but close to everything we desired. Super clean. Great linens. The shower was perfect. Thank you for the accommodations. We will be back!
Accurately described in the listing. Small apt-style residence with everything needed for a comfy stay. Enjoyed the shared deck and the quaint little down-town. Smelter Town brewery was excellent! Food along the old-town Cottonwood strip was good as any we’ve had.
This was the perfect place to stay in the Sedona area. Close to town, shopping, gas, restaurants, Montezuma, Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona without all the traffic! Immaculately clean, excellent communication, other guests were friendly, dogs were welcome and well behaved. Our host, Daniel, supplied soaps, dishwashing sponge and towels, lovely bath towels, hair dryer, coffee, filters, creamers, sugar, spices and many nice touches to make our stay very pleasant! Would highly recommend!
Off the beaten path a bit, but for us, that's exactly what we're looking for when we visit AZ wine country. Short drive to both old town and Jerome, pick up your bottles and utilize the back patio WONDERFUL views of the valley. Hope to visit again soon! Cheers, ~Jason
We enjoyed the great views of the area's mountains and hills. It was fun to watch the trains come and go. The town was interesting with its 1900's homes and buildings.
Clean, quiet, beautiful view, comfortable bed and plenty of room to relax. Adorable safe little town to explore on foot and close enough to take an uber to Jerome if you don't feel like dealing with parking on a busy weekend. We would love to comeback and stay longer.
Thank You

Thanks very much! I glad you enjoyed your visit! With Jerome's new (expensive) parking meter system in place, it's not only easier, it is also cheaper to take an Uber from Clarkdale than to mess with parking up there.
This was nicely situated in the center of town. It is an old building with all the character of its age. It was clean and the amenities were nice. The Shared back porch is a nice place to hang out and star gaze at night!
