Una villa 'contemporáneo' estilo construido en 2005, lo que llamamos 'The Haven' está perfectamente situado entre el mar y las montañas, con maravillosas vistas desde cualquiera de las terrazas delanteras o traseras. Situado en una zona aislada de aproximadamente 1 milla de la 'Lapta Strip', que alberga una gran variedad de buenos restaurantes y supermercados. Es un 15-20 minutos en coche del centro comercial y el puerto de Kyrenia y aproximadamente 40 minutos para un Campeonato Golf. Se beneficia de un 4metre iluminada piscina desbordante 8metre x con un extremo romano. Cuidador británica local a su disposición para asegurar que los huéspedes están bien atendidos. Villa, jardines y piscina se mantienen profesionalmente.

Excellent villa

Can not recommend this villa enough. Well equipped and very clean. An excellent welcome pack upon arrival, lovely private pool which was well used all day and into the evenings too! Well located with good restaurants and supermarket nearby. Overall an excellent holiday.

Really nice holiday villa

Near Kyrenia, but not too near. Walking distance to a nice natural beach, a grocery store, and a few beach clubs. Great restaurants a short drive away. Centrally located enough to reach any point in North Cyprus in a few hours. Nice pool, kitchen, and bedrooms with effective climate control when needed. A great stay.

Lovely, comfortable and relaxing villa within easy reach of shops, transport and places to eat.

We had such a relaxing and comfortable stay at The Haven, spending 2 weeks unwinding and enjoying the surrounding area, lovely garden at the villa and private pool. Kate was easy to communicate with, friendly and very accommodating . The property manager Paula was helpful, friendly and a mine of information. Thank you, we would love to return!

Despite the property beginning to show its age and impacts of local climate it was pristine clean, comfortable and in a good location. The welcome pack of basic essentials was generous and a great asset to arriving particularly if arriving early/late. Shame that more builds are going up behind it as they do overlook and therefore compromise the privacy. The sun loungers, parasols and cushions are in need of a refresh as the intense heat is beginning to degrade the plastic and the cushions are now visibly very well used. The plant growing through the skirting trim behind the sofa probably also needs addressing.

The villa was very comfortable. The views of the mountain were beautiful especially from the pool.

We can't thank Kate and Martin enough, from arranging for a rental car to pick us up at the airport and drive us directly to the villa so we didn't get lost to highlighting all the best restaurants and beaches Kate and Martin really did go above and beyond. Lapta strip has so many restaurants to choose from and most have outdoor terraces with sea views and access to the beaches, the staff and locals alike are all very friendly and happy to give ideas to make your stay memorable.

A perfect stay at The Haven

August 2023 Two week stay. We had a perfect two week stay at The Haven. So relaxing, loved it. Organised from start to finish with transfers and car hire. The property was nice.However the photos do not show the poor quality and condition of bathrooms.The property exterior areas were great. But internal condition was quiet dated and in need of a new kitchen also bathrooms.Also the interior is in need of full interior decoration as all walls marked and patch painted.The booking with kate was exemplary also comunication.I would advise the taxi booking was promp in both directions.As for power cuts.We had two but the neighbours only had one it was only our villa that had the extra power cut.Verry questionable after speaking to neighbours .Also the manager got this sorted at late at night.

Despite the two power cuts you experienced we sincerely hope that this did not stop you enjoying your holiday. Our previous quests who departed shortly before your arrival described our Villa internally to be “Pristine “ suggesting that it was clean, fresh and as new which is very different to the comments that you have made. Both of our showers are only two years old manufactured by Grohe are pressurised and we have found them to be very effective .New shower bases were installed at the same time. Our Villa is cleaned and laundered thoroughly prior to any new arrival and this practice will always continue. Having said this we do take all of our reviews seriously and we will always consider how we can make future improvements. Our Villa is our second home and our objective has always been to make it traditional, clean and comfortable . Best Wishes Kate

The property is a little dated could do with a little tlc in places. Absolute shame about the buildings very very close to the pool area the bulidings are very high and will overlook into the pool area. There was a neighbours dog that barked all night we have adressed this to the owner as for us we are light sleepers and we were sleeping at the front of the property in the master bedroom we were woken at 4am in the morning on 2 ocassions with this alsation dog just constantly barking. This was mentioned and hopefully there will be a resolutikn to this problem

A perfect relaxation

The villa is perfect for a family. It is very well equipped and the pool is the perfect addition. The owner, Kate, is easy to communicate with, and her house keeper, Paula, is available when needed. The place is located near a main road and within walking distance from a supermarket but it is isolated enough to give you the quiet you sick. The place is also nearby a nice sandy beach and the Lapta seaside promenade. A car is necessary if you want to explore the area, and if it is your first time in North Cyprus, there is plenty to know. There are many excellent restaurants around, with variety of food-don't miss it! To summarize - highly recommended!

Wonderful !

We stayed at The Haven for 11 nights July 2023 and from the very first time we enquired with the owner until the minute we checked out, everything could not have been smoother, including the transfers to and from Ercan airport which Kate arranged without a hitch. The villa itself was extremely comfortable and well equipped so we did not want for anything. It was very hot during our stay, so we made use of the lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds and parasols to escape the sun if needed. There are lots of seating areas, the large table and chairs at the front of the of the property were also a welcome relief from the heat during the day and in the evening for drinks in beautiful surroundings. We ate out almost every night, and as we did not have a car, we walked to every restaurant. The coastal path is about two minutes away and we made use of this for Silver Rocks, Driftwood and Blue Song which are about a mile away on the Lapta Strip. We also ate at Sevkets nearby (cash only),but our favourite was Wild Duck which we visited several times and seemed to be popular with families. We had 2 x mains, a bottle of wine and a few beers in each and they were all very reasonable, all costing roughly £30. The supermarket at the top of the road was well stocked and very cheap. Paula the manager is on hand locally if you need anything, but we were so relaxed and felt at home that thankfully, we didn’t need to trouble her too much. Thank you Kate, we had a wonderful stay !!

Excellent in every respect, highly recomended !

My family of 6 stayed in July 2018 for two weeks. Katie & Martin were a pleasure to do business with! Great communication from the start and throughout. Helpful with additional information prior to stay, i.e. currency enquiries, booking an airport transfer for us and then tourist information for when we where there. Paula the house keeper was equally excellent and very helpful with local information. The house itself is ideally placed in a small quite cul-de-sac, away from any noise or interference and is very private, with only one house occupied next door and high hedges all round. The house is clean, modern, bright and well equipped. The pool is great, safe enough for children but just big/deep enough for a swim! The gardens are pleasant and tidy. Air con in the bedrooms is a very big advantage. The house was immaculate upon arrival and the welcome pack of basic food and drink items was a very pleasant and welcomed surprise. The beaches, restaurants and super market are all 5 - 10 minutes walk away. Being TL rather than euro, we quickly discovered that it is cheaper to eat out at the restaurants than cook. Meals for 6 ranged from £35 at the Wild Duck (across the road) to £70 at the 'posher' beach side fish restaurants such as The Calamari and Silver Rocks. If you want sunshine and peace and quite The Haven is ideal. The area is quite 'rustic' and if you want to see much car hire is recommended but we were quite happy with the very cheap 'Dolmus' local buses. I have no hesitation in highly recommending The Haven to others. Thank you. Ian & Sarah.

Lovely villa

Lovely villa, clean pool, enjoyed the area lots to do. Local buses and also can walk to the shops in 5 mins. Would recommend!

Bright, spacious, clean and well located villa

My Husband myself and our two teenagers arrived to a spotlessly clean villa. well equipped Kitchen, comfy beds and fabulous mountain views from the pool area. Villa was very well located just a few minutes walk from a well stocked market and the main Lapta road, here you can jump on a dolmus (local mini bus) into Girne centre and to some very nice places to eat and a lovely beach (Deniz Kizi). Paula the villa manager welcomed us and provided a good welcome pack " thank you Paula" also thank you muhammed for keeping the pool sparkling clean which our kids used every day and sometimes well into the evening as it was still beautifully warm!!!. We all had a fabulous 5 week holiday. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kate and Martin for letting us stay at your wonderful villa The Djahit Family
