Bright spacious luxury holiday house to let with views of Lough Derg. Situated on the Ballina side of the pretty picturesque twin towns of Killaloe-Ballina, this was once the seat of the Irish high king Brian Boru. Killaloe-Ballina offers a wide range of amenities at any time of year from walking, watersports, boating, fishing, historic sites, and a host of pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. So whether you’re seeking an active or a lazy holiday, a weekend break or a base to explore Ireland, this house has it all. This is a non smoking house. Only 40 minutes from Shannon airport and 2 hours from Dublin. Situated on Clare’s border with counties Limerick and Tipperary, Killaloe is an ideal base from which to explore this part of Ireland being within easy reach of many of Ireland’s most famous visitors' attractions such as Bunratty Castle, The Cliffs of Moher, The Shannon and Burren Region.

The home was BETER than described. Such a beautiful property right in the middle of where you want to go. The restaurants near by are great. A market is 2 minutes aaay and the view from the living room was outstanding. It was just my wife and I and have to say… we will be back .i also want to compliment the bedding and pillows… so comfortable…thank you again for an awesome stay

Amazing Home in Quaint Town

Relaxing and perfect location

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The location was close to the center of town where we enjoyed various restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Our host, Kenneth, was very accessible and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable and to answer any questions that we had about the home. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Great house

Would thoroughly recommend this home to stay for a large family, there was plenty of space for our family group of 6 adults and one child. The property was clean and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside space was great, we enjoyed using bbq and dining on the decking area which had a large table to seat us all. Also loved sitting in the lounge looking out at the wonderful view over the lake. The location was great too as all amenities were an easy walk away.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location

Stayed in this home in late July and it was perfect for my family vacation. Centrally located it provided easy access to many of Ireland's most beautiful and interesting sites. The home itself was large, clean, had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and close to a market and pubs. Ken was extremely helpful and gracious. Would highly recommend this home.

Perfect house and venue

Not much to say, everything great, more like a house swap so you have everything you need, unlike some rentals where there is minimum of some items like pots and pans, sharp knives etc. A short walk by the lake into town for restaurants, coffee and ice cream! Will book again.

Grand spot in a great locatiom

House is well very presented with everything you would need for a very comfortable home from home. Super outside space and views of the Lough. Great location, with all the facilities of Ballina and Killaloe within easy walking distance. Ken, the host, was quick to respond to messages and very helpful. If visiting the area again would definitely rebook.

Killaloe stay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Killaloe. The house affords every amenity a larger group might need; spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels, well stocked kitchen and perfect for entertaining! The views from the house out onto the lake are wonderful and our entire group enjoyed our stay in a home away from home. Ken was a perfect host and very accommodating to our early arrival and ensuring our every needs were met. We look forward to staying again in the future!

We are a couple who are based in Dublin. Ken is a musician and Ann Marie is a TV producer. To us, Killaloe is a home from home and we love to spend as many weekends as we can here. The location of the house is perfect, as it is quiet, surrounded by greenery and wildlife while never feeling isolated, being close to wonderful neighbours and the villages of Ballina and Killaloe, with their thriving shops, restaurants and pubs. The river/lake and the hills of Clare and Tipperary are always there to be explored and sometimes just to be enjoyed from the deck for their beauty. The only downside is that we never have enough time to spend here!

A beautiful modern comfortable spacious property with lake views and large deck. Quiet and private but just minutes walk from the bustling historic twin towns of Ballina and Killaloe.
