There is also a pleasant cafe in the heart of the village. There are 2 public houses in the heart of the village (2 minute walk) and another a mile away which overlooks the stunning Crantock Bay. Crantock Corner provides everything needed for a great holiday; fabulous accommodation, huge grassed garden and fantastic location.
Crantock Corner itself is an extremely well presented family house and comfortably caters for 8 people. Consisting of 5 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and 2 bathrooms (1 downstairs) it has a large family lounge and a cosy snug room with an open fire. It also features a well equipped fitted kitchen containing a brown leather chaise lounge situated next to a large window to offer great views over-looking the village. The dining area comprises an 8 seat extendable oak table and a beautiful art deco open fire. The utility room is a perfect sleeping area for pets and it is adjacent to the downstairs bathroom.
All the village pubs serve good food and local real ales and cider. Newquay is accessible by foot, bus or car and offers most amenities expected of a small seaside town such as surf shops, supermarkets, lively pubs, restaurants for every palate and recently a cinema. The cathedral city of Truro and the unique Eden Project (with indoor rainforest) are approximately 30 minutes away by car.
