Garden studio with ensuite bathroom and small kitchenette. Patio with barbecue , outdoor sofa and chairs. The studio is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for walking and cycling or just chilling in the garden . Close to Canterbury, Kent Coast and Ashford Designer Outlet We are tucked under the Kent Downs and close to the famous walk The North Downs Way. There are several good country pubs within walking distance . Inside the studio there are twin beds, TV, DVD player and a double sofa bed, bespoke made bellows coffee table.

Great host and property

Perfect for our short break. Made welcome with little extras like fresh eggs, local juice and lovely wash products. Beautiful setting with well equipped, neat and pretty accomodation. Would definitely stay again. X

Short autumn stay

We have enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The area is very quiet and tranquil. We have enjoyed fresh eggs and delicious applejuice offered by Lilly. The are footpaths near the cottage. No real downsides, except that the cottage has no eating table and the bathroom has a low ceiling.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed the studio for a week. We had a lovely time visiting London by train from Ashford International and visiting Canterbury. The studio has a lovely garden. We also enjoyed the contact with our host. The local pub was also very nice.

Stunning studio in rural area has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Patio area with BBQ and outside seating surrounded by nature and beautiful gardens Fully equipped kitchen including air fryer, microwave and two ring cooker made dining easy and enjoyable

Weekend away

We had a great weekend at the studio, couldn't fault a thing. Some lovely touches with apple juice and eggs available in the property, and lots of outdoor space to have a BBQ in the sun. Provided a great base for getting around Kent.

Beautiful part of the country & great host

Such a relaxing place to stay away from the hustle & bustle. Lily & family made us very welcome & the accommodation was just perfect for our short stay. Everything was spotless & we would definitely visit again x

Relaxed and quiet staycation

Rural location but easy access to M20 for Ashford, Folkestone and Dover to visit the surrounding attractions. Lilly was very welcoming and always on hand if we needed her. Our daughter especially liked seeing the ducks, geese and chicken and having a fresh egg for breakfast on a couple of occasions.

Super Urlaub Jul. 2019 mit Kindern

Alles ist gut, wie angegeben. Lilly hat uns nicht nur die schöne Terrasse - wie Fotos im Angebot -, sondern auch den Rasen mitüberlassen. Unsere Kinder 7/11 konnten dort spielen. Lilly stand für alle Fragen immer freundlich zur Seite. Es gibt 2 liebe Katzen, die manchmal auf unsere Kinder warten. Wir waren bei Ihr 10 Nächte, man kann viel unternehmen: Bei Regenwetter nach London mit Auto bis Ashford 15 Min plus Schnellzug bis London ( leider ist der Zug teuer ) 30 Min, bei gutem Wetter Dymchurch sandy beach - mit Auto quer durchfahren - 30 Min.; 1 A Strand camber sand = 45 Min. Ein toller Ausflug ist auch nach Dover castle, Rochester castle. Ashford outlet ( falls viele Regentage ) 15 Min. hatte gute Angebote. Lilly hatte noch viele weitere Ausflugs- Tips, z.B. "Mini" Eisenbahnen, mit denen man mit Kindern mitfahren kann, was wir nicht mehr geschafft haben. Nachteile sind einzig, dass man vor Ort nicht so viel machen kann, die meisten Grundstücke haben typisch englische große Hecken, also fahren müsste und die Fewo ist natürlich nicht groß, d.h. ich kam noch gut in die Toilette mit 1,75m, aber für große Menschen mit über 1,90 m ist es schwierig. Außerdem haben wir nach einer Woche kostenlos neue Bettwäsche bekommen und Hühnereier von den eigenen Hühnern. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, Danke, liebe Lilly.

Heerlijk vakantiehuisje

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huisje van Lily. Het is klein maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Door het schuine dak is de badkamer wat minder comfortabel, maar als je geen rugklachten hebt dan is het goed te doen. De omgeving is prachtig met veel mooie dorpjes en het huisje ligt heel rustig tussen de weilanden. Mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras.

Quirky and delightful

The only problem I had was with HomeAway. Having booked through them I continued to receive exhortations to download there app. Other emails from them were simply a nuisance with no relevant content at all. When I needed to contact the owner it had to be through them and even that required going through a third party so other than providing a Shop window for the property I found them superfluous. The owners and their stand-in were all delightful and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. The property is quite unique as the site’s photographs show but it has been a well thought out conversion done with a lot of taste. Excellent
