We are sorry to hear that travelling with a large amount of luggage felt burdensome. This apartment is actually one of our closer options to the village centre, located only around 150 metres (500 feet) from the Wengen train station & central Wengen. We are pleased that the local taxi service was helpful. For prospective guests: we always provide taxi details before arrival should you wish to make your arrival or departure days a little easier, particularly when travelling with such a considerable amount of luggage. As is typical throughout Wengen, the apartment does not have air conditioning. Air conditioning is very rare in our alpine region, as evenings are generally cooler and opening the windows allows the fresh mountain air to circulate. We are glad you were able to comfortably leave the windows open at night. We have also checked the washer & dryer and can confirm that both are functioning correctly. It is possible that a different programme or setting was required. Our team is always available and quick to assist whenever guests experience any difficulty with an appliance during their stay. We are sorry that the nearby construction affected part of the view during your visit. Nevertheless, we are very pleased that you enjoyed the apartment and its quiet location, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
