About Tina Boyt

My love for the water has expanded my opportunity to offer this beautiful area to others. Once I had purchased this property I felt as if I was hoarding this magnificent natural space and knew that it had to be shared with others.

Tina Boyt purchased this house in 2007

Why Tina Boyt chose Weeki Wachee Gardens

This property is one of the most ideal and sought out areas along the Weeki Wachee River. The river is crystal clear with a sandy bottom, kayaks and canoes for entertainment, plus the attraction of kayakers, canoers, and paddle boarders can be quite the entertainment in it's own. This property is located in the middle of everything, to the left is Hospital Hole and 5.5 miles to the head of the river with plenty of places to get out and picnic or swim along the way or to the right only 3.5 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. The natural elements of the ospreys, ducks, turtles, owls, and of course the manatees all add that excitement of animals in their natural surroundings.

What makes this house unique

Along with the stunning water and perfect location, it offers a fire pit for late night romance or family fun with s'mores. It's always a nice relaxing moment to stroll to the dock and sit back in the swing with cup of coffee and just watch the water flow, nature, or just the entertainment of the people and the river. The entire floor to ceiling glass living room offers a 180 degree view of the river and also from the second story bedroom as well. A luxurious site to wake up to, pull back the curtains and see the beauty of it all.

Fantastic getaway

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved Tina’s river house! The pictures of the inside don’t do it justice! Stairs inside are steep but we used the outside stairs to access the second story. The kayaks that were included were great! We saw multiple manatees and other wildlife. We will definitely be back.

Awesome Fun at the Little House on the River!

  • 5 of 5

We had a Great stay at the Little House on the River! The home was very clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, nice large TV's with cable, fast internet and had everything for cooking, grilling out or using the fire pit. The Sun Room makes you feel like you are outside and was very relaxing watching the manatees and fish in the clear water swim up and down the river. You have a choice of different kayaks, a paddle board or the canoe, with life jackets and paddles and Hospital Hole was just a short paddle away where you could swim or snorkel. Outside you can sit at a nice table with an umbrella and 4 padded chairs or there are 2 lounge chairs and the swing. In the bin outside was a mask, snorkel, fins and noodles for just floating around. The river does have a current depending on the tides but when it's slack tide that's a fun time to go swimming. The river is busy with kayakers because they can put in 75 kayaks per hours up river at the spring and they take out downriver from the house. March is a bad month for Sand Flies so bring Bug Spray!! We spent a month at the Little House on the River and I would recommend it for a Fun vacation!!

Clean, cozy and fun!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the Little House (Riverhouse) was excellent! The first plus is that Tina allowed our little pup Simba who had a blast. He loved kayaking and seeing the manatees as much as we did. We first saw a mama and three babies swimming by the dock and several while kayaking the river. Hospital Hole which is for caving diving is just upriver about 500 feet from the dock. Manatee hang out there (for the warmth of the spring we hear). We saw manatee there as well, so cool!!!

Tina's home is VERY clean and inviting. The neighbors are close, but they are fantastic so that didn't bother us. They took us on their pontoon boat out to the gulf which was our pup's first adventure on a big boat. He loved that too.

The beds were super comfortable with a sleep number in the master. Steep stairs (almost a loft type ladder) getting up to the bedrooms which were OK for us but might be difficult for elderly guests. I believe the sofa downstairs is a sofa bed, confirm that with the owner if you feel the stairs could be a problem. The front room has a gorgeous view of the clear river from the enormous windows. The front room gets very hot during the day, but no worries as you have two living rooms and each has a tv (my hubby loved that!) You get an excellent view of the river from the upstairs windows, so make sure to take a peak. We had fun playing giant Jenga and PacMan!! on the vintage arcade machine. Having the kayaks to use was such a bonus to make our stay FABulous! Have a great time; you are sure to love it! Thanks Tina for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Perfect vacation

  • 5 of 5

First of all the house was just as we expected. Great location, nice area, friendly neighbors,

very clean and everything we could have needed right down to the pancake syrup we forgot! And what a view.

We had an issue with the land line which Tina resolved as quickly as possible. She followed up on the problem and we really appreciated her concern. We highly recommend anyone considering Tina's place as you won't be disappointed. We look forward to a return stay

next time we visit the area. Thanks for everything Tina!
