Grace's Cove Cottage is an idyllic Block Island retreat with sweeping views in every direction. Sit on the porch and savor the sunset, or lie in your bed and gaze all the way up the North Point to the North Lighthouse. The views are simply spectacular. Tucked away from the bustle of town on the island's private west side, high on a hilltop with expansive ocean views, the cottage offers the very best of Block Island. With 4 acres to meander, the setting is spacious, private, and serene. Pick blackberries or raspberries in the yard, or amble down the dirt road to private Grace's Cove, where even on the busiest of weekends you are likely to encounter only a few souls. The home has been lovingly refinished, with gleaming wood floors and comfortable coastal decor. This is truly a gem of an island home. You'll never want to leave, and you may just find yourself coming back again and again and again, and dreaming of this sanctuary when you're away.

About Maria Frostic
My grandparents first came to Block Island in the 1940s, when it was a much different place. They knew it was special from the outset, and eventually bought land and built a home near Rodman's Hollow. We would drive up from Virginia every summer, and since I was born I've not missed a summer. This island is part of my soul in a way no other place could ever be. I worked here for my college summers, and though I eventually set down my roots in Montana, my husband and I and our three young boys come back every summer and fall to spend as much time as we can in this cottage we are lucky enough to now call home. It nourishes our souls. Grace's Cove is so incredibly special. We pinch ourselves every day we spend in this magical place. We would love to share it with you.

Why Maria Frostic chose Block Island
I dream of coming home to this property all winter. It is beyond special. It is as if time stands still here. Every day I'm there, I find myself gazing at the ocean, no matter where I am in the house. Every day the water and the sky are different, and every evening the sunset is worth racing home for. The grounds stretch on for 4 acres, and there are trails to meander, hills to rove. Grace's Cove is a half mile down the dirt road, and is great to explore with young children. It is easy to get to town, and a relief to come home again, out of the fray, with staggering views and sweet breezes to lull you to sleep.
