Lourdas Beachfront Studios is a one of a kind property situated just a 1 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The building has 4 studios set over 2 floors 1 & 2 are ground floor and 3 & 4 are 1st floor, each studio has a large double bed, modern tiled bathroom, kitchenette and balcony there is also a safe and complimentary WiFi.

Set on a picturesque hillside, Lourdas has stretches of golden sand that extend for miles, with clear sapphire waters and beautiful scenery. Behind the striking views lie woods that not only offer shelter but fantastic mountaineering trails for hiking enthusiasts.
By night, Lourdas turns into a lively town with numerous bars and plenty of outdoor seating so you can enjoy the attractive night time views Kefalonia offers. A good selection of traditional tavera's have plenty of local cuisine on offer.

There was some confusion when we first arrived at the accommodation as we had booked a Beachfront Studio but the name was actually Waterfront Studio. But the written instructions directing us from the airport to the studio were excellent. Previous guests may have removed the information booklet that had been in the apartment and we were unable to access the WiFi. However, when we alerted Linda to this the booklet was immediately replaced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Studio. It was so close to the beach, 10 metres, and a very quiet area Iin September. There are many restaurants to choose from our favourite being Lourdas Mare which was only about 50 metres from the accommodation.We thoroughly recommend Beachfront/Waterfront Studios For Couples or singles of all ages.

Gefährliche Mängel und absolute Verantwortungsverweigerung des VermietersVon unserem Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment müssen wir leider dringend abraten, und zwar aus schwerwiegenden Gründen, die die Sicherheit und den Umgang mit Gästen betreffen.Während unseres Aufenthalts ist ein Sessel auf der Terrasse unter meiner Frau zusammengebrochen. Dies war kein kleines Malheur, sondern ein folgenschwerer Unfall: Meine Frau zog sich dabei Verletzungen am Kopf und am Knie zu.Der eigentliche Skandal ist jedoch das Verhalten des Vermieters im Anschluss. Wir haben den Schaden umgehend gemeldet und nach einer Entschädigung für den erlittenen Schaden und die Schmerzensgeldforderung gebeten – schließlich handelt es sich hier um eine mangelhafte und nicht verkehrssichere Einrichtung.Auf unsere mehrfachen und höflichen Aufforderungen reagierte der Vermieter zunächst ausweichend und weigerte sich schließlich komplett, jegliche Verantwortung zu übernehmen oder auch nur auf eine Lösung hinzuarbeiten.Als wir nicht locker ließen, brach er den Kontakt vollständig ab. Auf unsere E-Mails wird seither nicht mehr reagiert. Dieses Verhalten ist nicht nur geschäftsschädigend, sondern zeigt eine absolute Missachtung der Fürsorgepflicht gegenüber seinen Gästen.Zusammengefasst: Ein gefährliches Apartment mit unsicheren Möbeln und ein Vermieter, der bei einem ernsthaften Vorfall jegliche Verantwortung von sich weist und seine Gäste im Regen stehen lässt. Finger weg!

A lovely apartment just steps from the beach. Equipped with everything we required for our 9 day stay, with the room being serviced twice during our stay which was highly appreciated. Please note if you plan on requiring the wifi for work etc, the internet seems quite unreliable in this area. Overall a stellar stay.

The property is very tired and is in need of a spruce up. It doesn’t look like the photographs on the site. The bathroom is very small and there is no real shelving and it is dark as is the kitchen. The balcony faced the sea but due to the hedges in front there is no view. Had to contact the Property Manager once due to a leak and they came out promptly. Could also do with having more towel changes as we only got one in a week.

Quality property on the beach

We had 5 great nights in this property. It is of a high standard compared to a lot of Greek studios. The kitchen has everything we needed, plenty of space for clothes, air con was cold and water was always hot! The location is second to none, you can be the first and/or last on the beach and pop back to the property when you need to! Good tavernas nearby.

"Great location, very clean, and just a few steps from the beach. The accommodation is next to two amazing restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for dining out. However, there was one issue. Upon arrival, I found that there was a lack of clear instructions on how to access the property. The front gate has a self-locking door that can only be opened with a stick from the outside—something I never would have imagined. As a result, I ended up waiting outside for 45 minutes in 35-degree heat, trying to figure out how to get in. It would be helpful if better information were provided in advance to avoid this kind of situation."

Perfect Location

The location was exceptional. Two minutes from the sea, so a quick dip was minimal effort for maximum enjoyment. I arrived on crutches and the access to the property with just two steps was easy. The best Taverna is almost next door and next door to that a very friendly staff at the mini market. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was quiet and very private. Parking was easy even when the private parking was full. The lady who cleaned was a treasure and she left the apartment spotless. We would love to stay again.

This is exactly what we want from a stay in the Greek Islands. Lovely accommodation, simple but has everything we needed. Would thoroughly recommend. Lourdas is a wonderful place and we hope to return again

Great location

Great location and comfy beds. Our apartment was on ground floor with a big tree in front so we knew the view would be limited. Would go for 1st floor next time. Well equipped apart from.having only 3 pillows so I had to buy another which I left there so future guests wont have that problem.. Bathroom could do with a shelf for toiletries but the shower is best I have had in Greece. Owner v responsive to any questions I had beforehand.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato al Beachfront per 8 giorni in agosto. La posizione è comodissima, a 2 passi dal mare e dalla spiaggia atyrezzata con ombrelloni o se si vuole camminare un pochino una bella spiaggia libera con pochissime persone. Lo studio è esattamente come nelle foto, essenziale e pulito. Il cambio di lenzuola e asciugamani è stato effettuato lasciando la biancheria pulita fuori dalla porta. Quindi niente pulizia. La cucina va benissimo per cucinare, ma il frigo è piccolo e senza celletta freezer. Vicino allo studio ci sono bar e taverne. In conclusione è stato un piacevole soggiorno.

Schönes Appartement mit perfekter Lage direkt am Strand

Hat alles sehr gut geklappt mit der Schlüsselübergabe und Abreise. Das Zimmer war genauso wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand und Tabernen mit leckerem Essen 20 Meter entfernt. Kann die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Ideally situated. However front gate was self locking with no gate key. Robert the Manager was extremely helpful with directions as no street lights on roads and satellite navigation a prerequisite.

Studio 2 Waterfront Suites

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, die Lage ist ideal, nicht ständig den Berg nach Lourdata hoch und runter zu gehen. Wir hätten schon ein paar Vorschläge zur Optimierung der Innen Einrichtung aus unserer Sicht. Mehr Abstell Möglichkeiten im Bad für die ganzen Utensilien, zum Beispiel einfache Regale über oder unter dem Spiegel oder daneben. Das gleiche gilt für das Wohn-/ Schlafzimmer um einfach mehr Sachen ablegen zu können. Ein paar mehr Küchen Utensilien, Töpfe, Gläser usw. wären toll. Aber wie gesagt, es war unser Zuhause für diese zwei Wochen. Danke

Come a casa...con vista sul mare e immersi nel canto delle cicale

Siamo stati davvero fortunati a trovare questo splendido appartamento per la nostra vacanza a Cefalonia nel mese di agosto. Si presenta ancora meglio che in foto: pulizia impeccabile, arredamento elegante e ricercato, bellissima vista sul mare. Nell’appartamento non manca nulla: phon, ferro e asse da stiro, stoviglie, aria condizionata che consiglio di tenere accesa durante la notte perché, almeno ad agosto, la zona non è molto ventilata. È presente anche l’antizanzare elettrico, ma consiglio di procurarsi una candela alla citronella se si vuole cenare fuori la sera perché c’è qualche zanzara. Robert, il proprietario, ci ha seguito fin dall’inizio rispondendo prontamente alle nostre mail, suggerendoci posti da visitare e supportandoci anche quando il nostro aereo ha fatto ritardo. L’appartamento si trova sul lungomare, di fronte alla spiaggia e a pochissimi passi da diverse taverne, beach bar e un mini market. La sera, dopo l’ora di cena, non si sente altro che il rumore delle onde. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole rilassarsi lontano dalle località più turistiche e caotiche.

Amazing location

Perfect location just a couple of steps from the beach. Stylish and comfortable interior also spotless. We had a fantastic week the location is the best on Lourdas we did not have to go anywhere else everything is in walking distance as many restaurants as you like but no noise at the acomidation from any of them and two mini markets for food shopping. Boat ,kayak and paddle boarding rental on the beach. The beach is pebbles but sand under the water. If you get the chance book it quickly we will definitely be back.

A lovely Studio in a prime location.

The property is in a prime position right on the seafront. The studios have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative i could mention is if you have ground floor you can hear everything from the studios above if occupied. Cleaning was a bit sporadic to with them turning up at 8.30pm one day. I would return without a shadow of doubt though. If you are happy to stay on the same beach everyday you don't need to hire a car as a taxi from the airport is cheap and you have everything you need in walking distance and enough restaurants and bars to try a different one each night. Tip- Use the supermarket on the hill as its 20% cheaper than the one on the seafront.

Exactly as described. Perfect apartment for two people. Has everything required. Did not use cooking facilities (why would you when restaurants like Lourdas Mare nearby)! Very clean and comfortable.

A perfect getaway

Really convenient location for the beach and eating out, small and perfectly formed apartment. We couldn't have wished for more. Hairdryer provided and even a toaster, and cafetière! We hope we can return next year. A blissful week.
