A Gem in Naramata
My husband and I have stayed at a number of VRBO vacation properties around the world, but The Nest at Villa Magnolia is one of the best we have encountered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and will most definitely return. Its location, cleanliness, amenities, and friendliness of the hosts were exceptional. All of this made for a perfect summer getaway in wine drenched Naramata.
Thank you, Debbie! We really appreciate it, and we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Villa Magnolia Guest House. We very much enjoyed meeting you both, and our chats, and we look forward to seeing you again next season!
Villa Magnolia is absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Nest for a 3 night mini-moon after our wedding. The hosts have thoughtfully curated every detail of this lovely place. We enjoyed every minute. We loved sitting on the porch and looking out at the lake and gardens so much that we barely did any wine tasting while there, despite the proximity to several beautiful wineries. Just an exquisite place. We will be back.
Thank you so much, Reut! We really appreciate your kind words, and it was lovely meeting you both. Thank you for making Villa Magnolia a part of your post-wedding celebrations! We really hope to see you again next season. Take care!
Naramata is many things to many people - outdoor adventure awaits in the lake, mountains and trails, all nearby. Swim at Manitou Beach in the Village, a short ten-minute stroll from Villa Magnolia; hike or bike the historic KVR trail, also within easy reach of your Villa. And exclusive to Villa Magnolia Guests - on-site E-bike rentals! Take the work and worry out of cycling the hilly terrain of Naramata/Penticton. Right out of the Villa Magnolia parking lot, you can zip up to the KVR in no time, or spend an afternoon winding your way through the vineyards.
The Naramata Bench is wine central in the Okanagan, with over 40 wineries concentrated in an amazing 10-kilometere stretch, an unmatched wine trail complete with breathtaking views of lake and vineyards around every corner. No trip to Naramata is complete without a visit to wineries such as Marichel, La Frenz, Lake Breeze, Joie Farms, Black Widow, Van Westen, Deep Roots, Therapy, Little Engine, Poplar Grove, Hillside Estates, Tightrope, the list goes on.
Dining options in Naramata include the Naramata Heritage Inn; the Grape Leaf Cafe for brunch and lunch; Lake Breeze winery for an incredible patio lunch; Joie Farms for al fresco dining and wine on their beautiful lawn; Legends Craft Distillery for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch; Da Silva winery for lunch and dinner; Poplar Grove for an elegant lunch and dinner with one of the most beautiful views in the Okanagan. Of course, with The Nest's gourmet kitchen and jaw-dropping views, you may just want to cook at home anyway!
Drive to Penticton for shopping and more dining options, and to take in the Okanagan Lake to Skaha Lake Channel - a river run on inflatable tubes or mattresses that is a truly Penticton experience!
But the best experience in Naramata, after a day of swimming and wine touring, is sitting back on the deck of Villa Magnolia with a lovely bottle of Naramata wine, a sunset, the gorgeous view of the lake and vineyards, and just soaking it all in.
