Great place to stay to visit wineries and bring your dog!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay during a long weekend. It’s an old farmhouse that is in a good location. It feels secluded, but not far from wineries and restaurants. Sadly, we had snow and extreme cold weather during our visit, but there is a nice deck, hot tub, and back yard to enjoy in nicer weather. We were surprised to find bacon, eggs, milk, and bagels in the fridge for our use which was a great touch. The kitchen basically had everything you need to stay in if preferred and they had plenty of other amenities. This is also a perfect place to bring your dog since they have a fenced in backyard. We would stay here again!

Just what we needed

  • 4 of 5

We had a very nice weekend away and this house was perfect for our needs. Our dogs enjoyed being able to run around the fenced backyard. Our daughter had fun climbing up to the loft. It is close to some of the hiking trails we wanted to go on, and if you are interested in wineries, there are plenty close by. You can tell it's an old house, but it has lots of character. It was easy enough to find, and had everything we needed!

Wonderful time

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time at the Guest House! Our daughters loved sleeping in the loft. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were very soft. Our puppy loved the fenced in backyard.

Lee thoughtfully called us before hand letting us know an electrical storm had knocked out the satellite dish but there were plenty of movies for us to watch. It was a nice surprise to have eggs and bacon and a few other things in the fridge when we arrived. Every other VRBO house we have stayed in had NOTHING available so this was very helpful!

We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back!

A place to get away from it all

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay. Cable receiver was hit by lightening prior to our visit but we didn’t want cable. Could have used the WiFi though as cell service wasn’t available and planning and researching some locations would have been made easier. Hot tub was a nice addition to our relaxing stay. The ability to bring our pup along made the trip even more relaxing. Location was easy to find and very close to wineries, activities, and farm market. Lee provides breakfast foods and snack and also a lot of local flair to see. Would come back again without hesitation.

With a little TLC this place would be amazing

  • 4 of 5

Overall, it was nice. My only complaints would be that they needed to replace the shower curtain with a new one. And some rugs covered previous spills or pet stains. Looked like they rushed through their cleaning. Beds were nice. Linens clean. Soft clean towels. Property is pretty remote but close to everything
