Located at the beginning of a cove with a sandy beach, Sandy Shores offers an outstanding main lake view. This newly renovated home (June 2016) offers two levels, a patio, deck, dock and new landscaping. Main level has an open floor plan with kitchen, dining and great room with a 55" smart TV and DVD player. There are 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths. All three bedrooms face the lake and access the new deck.
The living area has an L-shaped couch, a brand new (2018) queen sleeper sofa, and a small love seat and chair.
The lower level has an open room with an A.M. kitchen (sink, refrigerator, microwave) and a
breakfast bar with stools. There is a sitting room with a 55" smart TV, pool table, half bath and day bed with trundle. One couch also pulls out to a double futon like sleeper, and we have a single blow up mattress available for your use.
You can access the lake, deck and dock from this first floor. Part of the shoreline has a natural sandy beach for everyone to access the water. You may use the dock and slip. The master bedroom has a King bed and a single pull out sleeper/chair, and the other two bedrooms have Queen beds. High speed internet. No Smoking. No Pets. Four TVs connected to Direct TV.
The dock has a boat lift (6,000 lb capacity) and a jet ski lift which can be used at your own risk. There are two smaller kayaks for use as well.
Also note: I just looked at the satellite picture - that was before we had landscaping and cut many trees down to open up the view.
I have been asked often about the dock and the depth of the lake. We are in a cove. The depth off our dock is over 6 feet and quickly goes deeper. You can dive and jump off the dock, but not off the boathouse.
We have a boat, and the boat house does not house a pontoon boat (which can be tied up to the dock), but houses most other boats.
Fishing off our dock is decent - smaller trout and bass, some larger cat fish. this is in front of the dock. You will often see fisher men come into the cove to fish.
We are also asked often about a boat ramp. We have an accessible boat ramp in the neighborhood which is about half a mile from our house. We sit on a little more than an acre, with perfect space to tuck your trailer away for the weekend or week.
