This waterside property is situated just off the River Bure, an ideal location relaxing and watching the abundance of wildlife.. All on the Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: TV, DVD Player

Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Convector heaters, electricity, bed linen included and Wi-Fi. Sitting-out area with garden furniture and barbecue. Bike store. Private Parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only, no stag or hen parties. There are 2 steps to the terrace and an unfenced river, 3 yards away.. Fishing available from 16th June. This delightful waterside property situated in tranquil surroundings just off the River Bure, offers an ideal holiday location for fishing and boating, or just relaxing and watching the abundance of wildlife, which can be seen from the living room across the lawned garden to the river. Guests are also welcome to bring their own small boat. Norwich, with its magnificent cathedral, castle and museums and fine shopping centre along with Great Yarmouth, sandy beaches and nature reserves are a short drive. Riverside pubs, restaurants, shops and day boat hire are all within walking distance.



There is an unfenced river 3 metres from this poperty. Please note, during the months of April and October due to the property being waterside the tide is prone to flood the garden and make it wet and possible waterlogging.

Towels are not included.

Peaceful stay

Chalet lovely and clean. Lovely quiet area with lots of wildlife.nice pubs & really nice fish restaurant.joanna very friendly & informative. All in all a nice place to stay.

Spotlessly clean amazing location beautiful scenery only downside Lodge needs a lot of updating but this did not spoil our holiday - we had an amazing time and are very much looking forward to going back to Horning, one of the most prettiest places we have ever been.

Relaxing holiday

A lovely clean little residence with a beautiful view of the passing boats, geese, swans, ducks, heron, moorhens and deer. Despite several complaints over the past 3 years, the bed mattress is very hard but hasn't been changed. The £1-in-the-slot was a drawback [although we were warned about it] & it caused problems for an elderly visitor to be plunged into complete darkness in the middle of the night, because the meter is too high up to read how much power is left. However, it was a nice relaxing holiday & we had good weather.

Our second stay and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Great location and top fishing spot (lots of big fish caught again this year). We found the double bed too hard last year, so brought a mattress topper with us this year and it solved the problem. Lovely location and lots of wild bird life around us. We will return. Lovely place but bit disappointing that there were only 2 garden chairs and small table despite being advertised as 4 berth. Also no bbq or any other outdoor furniture. Being in such a beautiful place we wanted to appreciate the garden, waterfront and fishing but limited because of lack of chairs. Otherwise lovely, clean and well stocked inside.
