About Mary Davidson
I grew up in Maryland and our family drove to Maine every summer for vacation. Time spent there made for the best memories. I recently bought the house from my parents to keep it in the family.
Mary Davidson purchased this House in 1970
Why Mary Davidson chose Eastport
My parents purchased the land in the 70s and then my dad built the house and crafted every cabinet inside. A labor of love that we would like to share with you.
What makes this House unique
The views are spectacular showcasing both sunrise and sunset. The bay has 25 foot tides- watch the amazing change from low to high tide, right from the house. Walking the beach and climbing the rocks has always been my favorite pastime while visiting.

Our stay at The Maine House was nothing short of amazing! The views were stunning and the house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable!
Beautiful house and private beach!
Very accommodating. Lots of room and privacy! Great place to stay and short drive into town.
Absolutely flawless home and ideal master bedroom suite!
I had the pleasure of renting this stunning home for a week in September 2017 with my fiance and two colleagues. The layout was more than ideal; an enormous, sprawling master suite with private bath and large walk-in closet. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable and the homeowner stocked tons of towels and extra linens should we need them. The additional two bedrooms were on the second floor and shared a full bath. There was a bonus third FULL bath on the main floor off of the study, which could very easily fit a queen sized air mattress and make a very spacious fourth bedroom. Everything in the home is top of the line - it's clear no expense was spared. The kitchen is fully stocked with every dish, utensil, pot, pan, gadget, etc you could ever need, and the homeowner even stocks basic spices and necessities. Aside from the gorgeous, private, expansive setting and immaculate interior, what stood out to me about this rental was the homeowner's attention to detail. Whenever I thought, "hmmm, I could use ____" it was there. So much so that on a rainy day, as I was running out the door to work, I just knew there would be an umbrella in the entryway closet (and, of course, there was!). Extra soap, cleaners, detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, absolutely anything you could run out of or need is readily available at this home. My colleagues and I rent homes 30+ weeks/year, so we really appreciate touches like this. I also REALLY appreciated Mary working with me on the price and also allowing my two small dogs to join us. They were only there for three of the seven days but they loved being able to run on the beach! Thank you so very much Mary, we can't wait to return!!
Whale watching, annual Salmon Festival, Pirate Festival and nearby Blueberry Festival and Indian Days.
