Perfect getaway to relax and unwind and enjoy the local vineyards. Spa was amazing, beds very comfortable, lovely hot shower and great view over the valley.

Wonderful stay

The cottage was homey, and the hot tub was fantastic and a great touch! It’s in a beautiful area with some cute donkeys and alpacas nearby. Kitchen and bathroom and other amenities like fireplace and heating worked well. Overall a great stay.

It was ok, mattresses on the beds were very cheap and hard. We ended up using all the extra blankets to put ontop of our mattress to make it more sleepable. It was 40 degrees the air-conditioning couldn't keep up. The bedrooms were hot all night. Didn’t use the spa as too much debris were falling from the tree above.

Absolute bliss and would not hesitate to recommend this property for anyone who wishes to escape the pace and noise of life. It would be impossible to not slow down and smell the fresh mountain air. All the wildlife and visiting farm animals added to the experience. The night sky was so incredible. Stars forever. Highly recommended and will definitely be making Cadair cottage a regular place to escape.

Better than the photos

Was a nice surprise to find the reality of the property was even better than the photos. Yard was perfect and secure for our sausage dog. The property was absolutely spotless with everything you needed in the kitchen and the décor was right on point for a rural getaway. Only thing which was a slight negative was the bed in what could be considered the master bedroom was really hard. This could be solved by a mattress topper being provided to soften it. The mattress in the other room was great. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

This place is Heaven!

The property was in a part of the Hunter we had never been before and it was absolutely beautiful, a bit more authentic and off the beaten track. Was great to be around the animals, we even found a family of Tawny Frog Mouth Owls. We didn't have time to do a wine tour this time but will make sure we allow time for it next stay. Couldn't recommend this little slice of heaven more :)

This cottage was in an amazing, picturesque, tranquil setting. The spa on the deck was an added bonus to relax in. Thankyou so much. Our Kelpie enjoyed the big yard too! We will definitely be booking again.

Even better than advertised

The perfect spot to escape the rat race. Everything was so easy and the house was lovely. The spa kept the kids entertained while we relaxed and took in the view. We will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends. Thank you!

We could not pick a fault with this cottage, we loved it! The cottage itself was amazing, we could see the lights of the nearest town but were able to enjoy the seclusion and quietness of staying in a spot completely surrounded by rolling hills and wildlife. Short drive to hunter valley wineries and shops, however we also enjoyed just relaxing at the cabin with its outdoor spa, cozy fireplace and visiting sheep and alpaca. Information provided by host included great food recommendation and a massage service which we utilised and highly recommend. Thanks to our hosts who came to our rescue when I messed with the spa settings.

Lovely, clean cottage.

Cottage and yard enjoyed by my family and doggo during our stay. The property was clean and well maintained, the spa being a highlight. Owners were easy to communicate with. The sister cottage was closer than first imagined from the description provided, with a shared driveway seeing cars come and go, but we had a nice stay nonetheless.

Rosebrook Retreat

Cadair Cottage is located in a quiet and beautiful setting. Clean and well kept with a lovely touch of character. Quite close to the vineyards so you can enjoy the fun the wineries bring to a day, but far enough away, where at the end of the day, you can forget the commercialism and relax in the beautiful surrounds of Cadair Cottage
