Such great memories!

  • 5 of 5

My relatives were coming from overseas to meet my fiancé and I rented this cabin to introduce our families to each other, and the wedding party. Kael was a great host, made sure we have everything we need, even offered to hail my family up there with his truck if the roads were too muddy for a two wheel drive.

The place is BIG. The pictures don't do it justice. The patio, the yard and the land the cabin is on are perfect for activities (we had two small children who played frisbee and went sledding in the hills around the property).

This place is a REAL log cabin. Nothing looks kitsch or cheap. Everything you see is of the finest quality. The house is made to feel you're in the mountains; in the wilderness. The kitchen is equipped with almost everything you need, and Kael has spared no expense to make it a fantastic kitchen to cook for 10+ people. The glassware is plenty, and from brands that are known to sell excellent quality products. I love cooking, and I had brought my own knife set and a few other things just in case, but immediately realized that I didn't need any of the kitchen stuff I brought over. There are two ovens, but one of them is kind of tricky to unlock (took me a solid 5 mins to figure it out).

Beds are comfortable. There's plenty of storage space for your suitcases and clothes. There's a thermostat on every floor if not almost in every room (I was told, however, that the room with twin beds has no heating, so it gets chilly in the night). The upstairs bathroom has no doors, so it might make some awkward encounters with the in-laws :)

This perfect property is worth every single penny. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay close to Bozeman, MT.

Very Successful 70th Birthday and Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

My goal for this vacation was to learn how to fly fish. I invited immediate family and many came (9 total including 2 grandchildren) from all parts of the country - California, Maryland, Florida. When I arrived, I knew that we had selected the right spot - because if nothing else, every morning, we had to decide whether to stay in the cabin and use all the amenities in and around it; or take a ride into Yellowstone or Big Sky or hang out in Bozeman.

Four of us went fly fishing for two days on the Yellowstone River; the other 5 went horseback riding outside of Yellowstone. I don't know who had a better experience - we all loved it. At night we returned home to the cabin and it was difficult to go to sleep because at this time of year (July) the sunset seemed to last until 10 - 10:30. The cabin is oriented to take full advantage. Next came games, the hot tub or just enjoying everyone's company. We all have busy lives and this was a perfect place to wind down.

Kael was wonderful - he pointed us in the right direction for our daily adventures, offered tips and was generous beyond expectations. Most of the time with VRBO, the owner is not very accessible. Kael was, and I thank him for it. I highly recommend this cabin.

A True Montana Experience

  • 5 of 5

This cabins location is tucked into the mountains with the most beautiful views. We enjoyed cooking outside on the wood grill, hot tubbing, along fires inside, cooking in the spacious kitchen and walking up the trails in the nearby forest. A great place to unwind and spend time with family. Kael is also a great resource for getting other activities planned such as fishing. Highly recommend this cabin and comfortably sleeps 10!

Montana Thanksgiving Vacation

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I planned a get together for our children and grandchildren and we wanted to do it in Montana because it is centrally located to our families. We needed something that would accommodate 12 people.

The cabin was more than a cabin. The kitchen was wonderful for a large group like we had and all the kitchen supplies were perfect. We had a complete thanksgiving meal all cooked with supplies in the kitchen. The table allowed all of us to sit together. The living/family area accommodated all of us so we could sit around the fireplace and tell family stories.

Lastly, the location was great. The views were super and the location was isolated enough that our family stuck together. There was plenty of room for all kinds of hiking so the teens to the seniors all could do something. Also, for the more adventurous there is mountain climbing and skiing very close.

I would recommend this place, especially for families.

Amazing Five Star Stay Near Bozeman

  • 5 of 5

Corbly Gulch Retreat is an wonderful way to truly engage in the Montana Experience. It is tucked up in the foothills with views that are simply stunning. The home itself is spacious and very comfortable. We used the outdoor cooking area a couple to times during our stay and had so much fun, I'm now trying to figure out how to build one of my own. The Hot Tub is very easy to use and is conveniently located right off the covered porch. I highly recommend staying at Corbly Gulch Retreat if you plan on visiting the Bozeman area, we certainly will be back.
