Escape to Pelican Lodge Rye, your ideal holiday retreat for unforgettable gatherings with family and friends. The Space:

This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. Featuring a range of amenities, including a deck offering stunning ocean views, cozy lounges, outdoor dining facilities, BBQ amenities, and a fire pit, our lodge provides ample opportunities for relaxation and cherished memories.

Additional amenities include:

Upstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table, dining table that seats 10, which has access to the sliding door that open up to the deck, a large lounge area with a 65-inch smart TV.

Reading books and board games room for relaxation and fun.

There is a full bathroom with shower, bathtub, and toilet (complete with hairdryer and straightener)
Additional shower and toilet included in the laundry room, which also feature a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board, vaccum cleaner and cleaning products.

Downstairs, there is a lounge room with a 65-inch smart TV, kitchenette with a full-size fridge (including an ice maker and filtered water), dining space, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

All bedding is provided, but guests need to bring their bed sheets, duvet covers, and towels. Alternatively, linen hire can be provided for $200, with all beds made up ready for your stay, including bath towels. Guests would then only need to bring their beach towels if they choose this option.

Booking Details:

To confirm your reservation, a bond is required, refundable after a final inspection following your departure. Additionally, a $250 cleaning surcharge applies to all stays, with additional fees deducted from the bond for excessive cleaning, if necessary.

Great House, Great location

Went for a 3 night boys golf trip and the house was perfect. Close to courses, shops and the beach. Bbqs on the deck and table tennis tournament was a hightlight. Owner was super easy to deal with and also professional at the same time.

This is a huge property with plenty of room! So many things offered inside the house so keep yourself occupied with the beach 5 minute walk away. Fantastic house and location. 5 minute walk from the main beach and strip of shops. Great place to go to get away for a couple of days or a few weeks. The outside BBQ area was perfect for warm nights and the house itself was very nice. Huge front lawn that can be closed off by the front gate which would be perfect for kids to play in. Owners were fair and easy to communicate with.

Location and Room to enjoy

We recently stayed at this property as a group of 9 people (two families), 4 adults and 5 kids, age 6 - 15. The location was fantastic, a short stroll (5-10 mins) to the beach and locals shops and eateries. There was lots of games and movies for all the kids, decking for the parents to enjoy a few drinks and admire the beautiful views. Owner was prompt and friendly. Wonderful property for a fantastic getaway. Strongly recommend to families.

Amazing house

Stayed here for a weekend away with a group of mates. The house was amazing, with plenty of space for groups to hang out including a massive balcony and a number of different living areas. Located in an ideal spot, being only a short walk to the nearest pub, set of shops and beach could not have asked for a better location. The owner Desi was so much help, allowing us a later cheek out. Overall a great house that I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here as part of the hens weekend getaway with 11 people. The property is located very close to the main shopping and foreshore of Rye. It is well presented and sleeps 12 people comfortable. The inside is on the older side but the new deck is great, and the living area easily seated 11 of us to chat/mingle! Desi the owner was great to deal with an even left us a bottle of wine to help celebrate my hens weekend. The furniture is modern and the beds are comfy! Will come and stay again!

AMAZING!

10 of us recently stayed at Aetos Beach Retreat and we had a wonderful time. The house is simply amazing. We watched the sun coming down on the deck, there is plenty of seated areas to accommodate everyone, the house is set-up to make you really feel a home away from home. I thoroughly recommend staying here if you are looking for a weekend getaway or a a week away from the city. The location is a short walk from the Rye beaches and restaurants and a short drive to the famous Hot Springs. Desi, is fantastic to deal with and really makes it easy to organise. :)

Perfect spot and has everything you need

Me and my group of mates stayed at this place over the long weekend for a boys trip. This place is absolutely sensational with everything you need from a fantastic decking area and countless entertainment areas upstairs and with the bottom level below with the table tennis table for epic battles. The house has netflix, apple tv and free wifi, PS2 and a Wii, stacks of board games and sports equipment, a great bbq/2 x outdoor area spots and a fireplace burner to sit around. Location wise, it is 5 minutes from the beach and local shops, a great spot to walk down and enjoy the great atmosphere. The owner Desi, was fantastic and accommodating to us, even allowing us the later check out on our last day. Everything was hassle free and would happily recommend to anyone! Will definitely come back again!

Great house! looks even better in person

The house was a very nice and cosy place, that fitted comfortably a group of 9 and could fit even more as some beds were unused. Upon entering the house looked even better than what the images portray it to be and cleanliness of the house was more than satisfactory. There is a table tennis table downstairs which provided my group lots of enjoyment and a larger tv downstairs, however we spent most of our time upstairs as that was more cosier. Upstairs had a cosy lounge area with a decent sized tv and plenty of space, and the decking outside was awesome for having meals especially when the sun was out. The location of the house is also something to mention, as it very close to the beach and shopping strip, literally like 2 mins. Also, the owner of the house was very friendly and helpful with the stay, and provided prompt responses. Overall a great house to stay at and a very friendly owner to communicate with.

Perfect girls weekend away!

Aetos Beach Retreat was the perfect house for our girls weekend away. Walking distance to the main street with cafes and the pub. Also plenty of parking and a well equipped kitchen! Couldn't have asked for a better place for our girls weekend away. Thanks Desi!

Dodgy house and owner!

Firstly, the location of the property was excellent, as it was only a seven minute walk from Rye Beach. Unfortunately, this is the only positive remark I can make about the establishment. In relation to cleanliness and functionality, the property did not at all meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed: -Hairs in the fridge -Two of the four stoves not working at all -Stove fans and lights not working at all -Various insects found in lights all over the property -Dusty, unhygienic fans -Bedrooms full of dust and grim -One window was broken -Dinted walls Moreover, the owner Desi had no respect for us as tenants and tried her best to obliterate our hopes of keeping our expensive bond money. She callously expected us to pick up cigarettes and minuscule scraps on the decking, in spite of the fact that our payment supposedly included "cleaners." We left the house in a superior condition to when we entered, indicating that the owner has no intention of maintaining a clean, hygienic and comfortable property for future tenants unless they clean up after themselves. Keep away.

Thank you for review Kevin. I was very disappointment in your Schoolies group and because of the way you have conducted yourself i have now chosen to not put any schoolies in my property anymore. The house was not left in a superior condition to when you entered as your group broke our 46 inch Sony Bravia TV, the house was extremely dirty and rubbish left everywhere. You also left furniture outside on the decking that should have remained inside and moved the furniture around the house. Your childish behavior could have lead to something more serious when you dislodged the fire extinguishers at your pleasure and not reported it to me that they had been used. Also at no point did i say that i would not give back your bond. Its because of groups like you that you spoil everybody else chance to enjoy their schoolies experience. For those who have ready Kevin's review, please be aware that it is a false review. This was a schoolies group that disrespected my house and me.
