Casa Mahogany is a cozy and relaxing hideaway surrounded by tropical plants and a sturdy 100 ft mahogany tree protected by Florida endangered species society. It is home to squirrels, bright green Iguanas, blue Jay birds and at times wild green Parakeets make a stop on its canopy to take a break. Next to the tree, sharing a little of its shadow, is an inviting pool and Jacuzzi that contours the landscape.
Rent boat or jet ski nearby and greet your guests at the wooden dock. The open ocean is only 20-25 minutes’ boat ride away!
Spend a quiet time fishing under the mahogany tree while enjoying the ocean breeze. The backyard faces the ocean to the east and in the morning you can often enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sometimes in the evening an impressive full moon.
Casa Mahogany from the moment you walk in, you get a feeling of spacious, relaxing, non-cluttered space yet a place that makes you feel comfortable right away. The house is an open plan design with water views visible from all rooms. It has 3 large bedrooms, 2 and half bathrooms and a large Florida room with a bar, 55” HDTV and plenty of seating. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a separate laundry room and a relaxing outdoor patio, accessible from all rooms in this bungalow. All beds have 100% cotton sheets and guest are provided 100% premium quality cotton bath and hand towels.
Other than visit the beautiful golden sand beaches and refreshing blue ocean there is an abundance of activities to do in Pompano.
See known artists, bands or an orchestra play at Pompano Amphitheater.
Visit the Pompano Park and Isle Casino to try your luck or watch live horse harness track racing.
Enjoy a variety of water sports, paddle boarding, scuba diving, para-sailing and more.
Kids entertainment like X-treme karting, water parks, ocean adventure camp, and much more
Great golf and tennis less than 2 miles away. Pompano Municipal Golf Course was recently resigned by Greg Norman. Pompano Community Park offers 16 tennis courts and an Olympic size pool.
Just a short 30 min drive is great shopping at one of the biggest outlet malls in the US, “Sawgrass Mills”, with more than 350 stores.
Walt Disney World is just 3-hour drive north.
The Everglades, the largest subtropical wilderness in the US is just a 45 mins’ drive. It offers air boat rides, bird-watching, boating, biking, camping, fishing and hiking.
Miami Beach with its Art Deco architecture and bustling lively beach life is also only 45 minutes away. Ft Lauderdale also lively is closer just a 15 min drive.
Casa Mahogany is very close to a variety of both fine and family-friendly restaurants. The beach is just 2 miles or 5-minute drive. Our house is suitable for couples, business travelers or families.

We just returned from an incredible week at Casa Mahogany with my wife and our two kids, and it was one of the best family vacations we’ve had. From the moment we pulled up, we felt welcomed into a true tropical oasis. The house is beautifully maintained, spacious, and spotless—open layout with water views from almost every room made it feel airy and relaxing right away.The private pool and hot tub were the absolute highlights for our family. The kids (and honestly, the adults too!) spent hours splashing in the beautiful pool, lounging in the Jacuzzi overlooking the wide canal. The backyard is magical—surrounded by tropical plants, that massive mahogany tree and a good spot for fishing. Inside, everything was comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for home-cooked meals, the beds were comfortable and the living room with the big TV was great.The host was super responsive and helpful, making check-in simple. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend—10/10 from our crew!

Had a fantastic time. Property is beautiful, clean. Kids loved the pool and hot tub, and fishing in the canal (no luck though!). Owners responded quickly to questions. Location is short drive to Pompano Beach, and Ft Lauderdale and Del Ray Beach are 30 min away. Pompano Community Park has nice playground and running path.

We loved the location. Short drive to the ocean and many restaurants. Close enough drive to Fort Lauderdale and airport. Received excellent information on everything from the hosts. Had a issue with the hot tub but received quick response and fix within a day. Highly recommended. Would rent again if we ever return to the area.

Casa Mahogany: The Perfect Vacation Home

We had a great time at Casa Mahogany. The backyard was absolutely the best part. We used the spa a lot this time of the year, and the boys especially enjoyed catching many different types of fish off the dock. They recommend using live shrimp from Aces bait shop. The beach was a short drive away and easy to find parking at. Also, I recommend Little Italian for pizza. Nigel the owner was easy to work with although we had no issues during our stay. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend this property for family vacations!

This is a wonderful home to stay in Pompano Beach! We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). The home was equipped very well, was a wonderful thing to barbeque in Floridas warm night and sit outside by the pool. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Our group thought the home was even better than on the photos, we would definetely stay there again if we ever come back to Florida. Nigel and Maria always replied to our messages quikly and were very helpful. The location was perfect, a quiet neigborough but close to restaurants and grocery stores. But of course you need a car. Perfect place for a vacation!

Family Thanksgiving

As soon as you walk through the door you know you are where you are supposed to be. The home is beautiful and large enough to accommodate our family of 10 for our Thanksgiving dinner. The outdoor scenery is stunning! We could not have asked for better hosts. Nigel was concerned for our happiness, comfort, and was so understanding when we were “surprised “ with a visit from our family from North Carolina. Casa Mahogany is an amazing home with amazing hosts. Thank you!

Welcome to Casa Mahogany. My wife's and I truly enjoyed our home in Pompano Beach, Florida where we lived for 18 years. We loved being by the water. There is something peaceful, calming and spiritual about being close to it and the nature it attracts.

Why they chose this property

We purchase this our home some 18 yrs ago. It is in a beautiful location on 70 ft waterfront, a 120 ft wide canal and home to a 100 ft endangered Mahogany tree. At that time the house was in dire need of repair. Since then we have completely modernized the home and backyard. Upgrading the kitchen, all the bathrooms, bedrooms and floors. A new roof patio, Pool with Spa have all been installed. We created our our paradise and truly enjoyed the outdoor pleasures of Florida starting right from our backyard, Kayaking, jet skiing and fishing. Boating to waterside restaurants, open blue ocean of golden beaches.

What makes this property unique

I have seen manatees basking, 5 ft tarpon splashing, ospreys swooping down for fish, stingrays, iguanas, squirrels and beautiful sunsets; as well as being surrounded by water (canal, pool and 2 miles from the beach) there is an abundance of places to dine. We like to treat ourselves to good and varied food so have listed many places for you to visit in our Guest book.
