The view is spectacular and there was an IGA and coffee shop in walking distance. However, in our opinion, having stayed in many properties, the high-season price of over 1,300/night isn't aligned with the standard of this property, even for the view. Although the owner has made an effort to make the house feel homely, the property is very tired (more than the online photos) and it feels like there has been little money spent on maintenance of the house. For example, there are no flyscreens (other than the top 2 bedrooms) or air-conditioning; an amateur bathroom 'renovation'; tired sofas; and as there is little airflow downstairs, those who are sleeping downstairs have the choice of being bitten by inbound beetles if they leave the doors open, or suffering the summer heat with the ineffective fans. Downstairs feels unloved, including the outdoor table. One of the double beds downstairs is a sofa bed, and it was very uncomfortable. The vertical blinds in the main bedroom have some missing blinds, so light streams in more than it otherwise would. Roller blinds would be more effective.Overall, a great view, but the quality of the property was very disappointing.
