In the very heart of the Saint-Germain des Prés area, in the Southern part of the Sixth 'arrondissement', this a/c flat is at walking distance of the Saint Germain des Prés church on its famous Saint Germain boulevard, the historic Latin quarter, with the Sorbonne along the Boulevard Saint Michel. A few minutes away, by foot, you will find stylish boutiques, an elegant and convenient shopping mall, antique shops and art galleries, all types of excellent restaurants and famous cafés (La Coupole, Lipp, le Flore, le Dôme, les Deux-Magots, highlights of the intellectual, artistic, student-ish and trendy Parisian life). An easy stroll will take you to the ravishing and trendy Luxembourg Garden, the river Seine, dozens of monuments and historic points of interest.

The Saint-Germain/Montparnase area is most central, and gives easy access, by tube and a dense network of buses and taxis, to all railways stations, airports, exhibitions places.

68 square meters (approximately 730 square feet) two-bedroom apartment located on the fourth floor of a well-maintained 1880 building, with an elevator. Main entrance gate protected by a security system and an intercom.

Wood floors are laid almost throughout. Enjoying the sun throughout the day, the flat is full of light due to its northeastern and southwestern exposure and has recently been fully renovated to the highest standards Internet access in most rooms.

The entrance door opens into a small corridor. The living room and its open kitchen are to the right handside. Separate toilet off the corridor. A small hallway from the living-room drives to the first bedroom on the right handside, its bathroom straight ahead and the second bedroom on the left handside with its en-suite bathroom.

The 30 square meter (approximately 320 square feet) living-room has two double-glazed windows overlooking the quiet and picturesque street. It is furnished in a contemporary style with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, two armchairs, a sideboard, and a round dining table with chairs. It benefits from a cable flat screen TV with a DVD player, a high speed Internet connection and a stereo.

The open kitchen is fully tiled and equipped with a microwave, four induction rings, an electric oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster.

The 11 square meters (approximately 115 square feet) first bedroom has a double-glazed window facing the street. It is furnished with a king-size bed, two bedside tables, an armchair and a built-in closet with sliding doors. Internet connection and air conditioning unit.

The 10 square meter (approximately 105 square feet) second bedroom has a double-glazed window overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a king-size bed, a table and a built-in closet. Internet connection and air conditioning unit.

The first bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin with a mirror, and a toilet.

The en-suite bathroom has a window overlooking the courtyard and is equipped with a bathtub and a showerhead, a washbasin, a washing machine and a dryer. The separate toilet has a window and a built-in closet.

The nearest tube stations are Vaneau and Saint-Placide (lines 10 and 4). Several buses stops in the vicinity (96, 91, 87, 70).

Great apartment!

What a great place to stay! Anne was a very professional and kind host. She was always quick to answer questions while I was preparing for my trip. We -- my two sisters, myself and my niece -- stayed in the apartment for 5 nights. The location is a quick walk to Metro Vaneau or Duroc. It was about a 10 min walk to Le Bon Marché; the franprix and Carrefour are around the corner; Eric Kayser (boulangerie) is at the Duroc Metro.

Anne welcomed us to the apartment promptly and gave us a good tutorial on the appliances and the apartment. We had no problem using the dishwasher, stove, laundry etc. (the notes I jotted down were helpful!).

The apartment was clean and the street is quiet. Anne was completely helpful with check-in, check-out and transportation. I look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful apartment in a great location!

We just returned from a great family trip that included Paris. Anne's apartment was truly the icing on the cake!

First, Anne is a wonderful host (along with her cousin Laure). They made sure our visit was flawless.

The apartment itself was perfect for our family of 4. It was well-maintained and had all of the little extras you expect in a vacation rental. They even left a bottle of wine for us.

Keep in mind, this is a classic Parisian building that is fairly old. The apartment is nicely updated, but the floors are quite squeaky (particularly for those late-night visits to the bathroom). Something to consider if you're a light sleeper.

Location is great. It's a typical Parisian neighborhood, but not full of tourists or hotels. Yet it was just a short walk or metro journey to any of the city's tourist destinations.

The weather was mild, but we did enjoy the air conditioning on two of the nights.

I highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a relaxed, local experience, but with all the modern comforts of home.

Stayed in this lovely apartment for a week in June of 2016 with my teenage children. Anne, the owner, was very helpful during the booking process through checkout. She went above and beyond assisting us in our airport transfer, meeting us at the apartment upon arrival, and explaining all aspects of the apartment and the area in which it is located. The apartment itself is well appointed and comfortable. We loved opening the windows, standing on the balconies, and enjoying the sights and sounds. The building is secure and the neighborhood is safe. The apartment is located near several metro stations, enabling one to travel throughout Paris with ease. Restaurants, a small grocery, and several delicious bakeries are nearby. We felt like true Parisians as we explored this beautiful city and came home nightly to this wonderful home. Will definitely stay here again upon returning to Paris.

Wonderful place to stay in Paris

Our family (3 adults and one teenager) stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights at Christmas. The apartment is perfectly appointed with all you need. Anne met us at the apartment when we arrived and went over how to use everything. Anne was delightful; we can't say enough nice things about her. She arranged our transportation upon arrival and departure which was such a help. This was our second city on a three city European vacation so we loved having a washer and dryer and staying in an apartment to really experience Parisian life. The bedrooms are small but adequate with comfortable beds. The bedroom our sons stayed in was connected to a bathroom that had a sink, tub/shower and the washer and dryer. The toilet was separate, near the entrance to the apartment, which we found to be a plus. The other bathroom was a full bath with a small shower. The water pressure in the apartment is great. Each bedroom has a small closet with shelving and hanging space. The apartment has WiFi. We cooked in on Christmas Eve and found the kitchen had all we needed to make a nice meal. There is a table for 4 off the kitchen and the living area had comfortable seating for all of us. The apartment was perfect.

The location is great. There are several metro stops nearby which makes all of Paris very accessible from the location of this apartment. If you are a foodie and like to shop for food, the area has lots to offer. There is a boulangerie, formagerie, grocery, outdoor market and La Grande Epicerie (at Le Bon Marche), all within a few blocks. We got up in the morning and walked down the street for fresh croissants and a baguette, it was amazing! There are also many restaurants within walking distance and Anne provides a notebook with recommendations of places to eat. (There is a bistro next to the apartment building but we did not eat there so I cannot comment on the food) The apartment is also well stocked with travel books for Paris and the surrounding area. Right in front of the apartment building are city bikes for rent. We rented a few bikes near Notre Dame and were able to ride them right to our door. The location was quiet and we always felt safe not only in the area around the apartment but wherever we went in Paris. Anne, thank you for the use of your wonderful apartment, staying there made for a memorable Christmas. We hope to return someday.

Wonderful stay

We just finished a wonderful stay at this apartment--two teenage girls and two adults. The apartment set up and location were great. There are many places close by to eat (sit down and take away) and as others have written, Le Bon Marche is a real treat. Plenty of easy access to the Metro. Anne handled everything like a pro, from the initial deposit to the final check out. We really appreciated the extras--Anne arranged a shuttle to and from the airport (great price--you should take advantage of that), bottle of wine in the apartment, coffee and water. The apartment was plenty large enough for the four of us. Thanks for a great week--hope we can get back soon!

Living in Paris, just like a local

Anne, many thanks for the use of your great apartment, it was really enjoyable staying there. The location is definetely a 10 out of 10, and being able to walk to so many of the Paris attractions. We really enjoyed living in this area, we felt very safe, and the local bakeries and tea rooms nearby were fantastic, also Le Bon Marche, we used them most days and felt just like locals.

Your apartment is very comfortable, and had all that we needed, it was a real comfort each day to return to the apartment after spending the day walking around the Saint Germain area, the big bath was very relaxing.

We are very grateful for your wonderful greeting on our arrival after a long flight, all that good information about the apartment and local area, and getting us settled in, and also sending us off with a fond farewell, that was all much appreciated, and added to our great experience of visiting Paris.

Thanks also for arranging our transfers to and from your apartment, they were both very professional.

Hoping to visit again in the future.
