Beach and sunsets

Enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. Very clean and great mid-island location. Perfect for watching amazing sunsets and walkable to the wonderful ocean beach. Great deck and plenty of parking.

Great LBI Spot

Lovely location and amenities

We spent a lot of time time on the deck and it was perfect! The location is nice and quiet, but close to everything. Well equipped apartment, could use a new can opener and some shell fish crackers. But literally everything else we needed was there.

Great spot

This is a great location! Ship Bottom is a great town and offers easy access to the best of LBI. The property was neat and perfect for our family of 4. This is an upstairs unit - 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, washer dryer. The owners have neat little notes all over explaining how everything works. Check in and out was super easy. Highly recommend!

Perfect beach house!

Property needs a few upgrades but it was very nice and clean. Location is awesome! Our family had a great time and we would definitely rent it again! Thank you! Note: The house has central air, not window units. This was a very nice surprise! (Update the listing)

Good but...

There was an unpleasant (musty/urine) odor. The carpet, while necessary to muffle noise for the first floor, most likely needs to be replaced. We found broken glass on the deck and some in the house on the carpet. The liaison/owner offered to have the carpeting cleaned, but the family members staying there appreciated the offer but opted out since they were already settled in.

Unresponsive Homeowner

First day, the air conditioning unit in the bedroom my kids were using smelled disgusting when turned on. Sent text to owner, no response, but luckily my husband was able to remove and clean the filter. On the third day, the internet stopped working in the morning. Sent text and email to owner, again no response. Tried contacting VRBO that evening but after being on hold for an hour, VRBO agent disconnected me. Since we were leaving the next day, I just gave up. Disappointed in homeowner and VRBO.

Beautiful home!!!

I like being completely honest on my reviews. I don’t like the check in and out process but that’s not Loris fault. I would like to figure out how to complain on Vrbo. Of which I’m sure most would agree. I feel it’s crazy to be charged for a full 2 days if you can’t check in till later afternoon and have to leave early morning. I work in healthcare so of course post pandemic still a lot of staffing shortages so I didn’t get there till late evening so I lost 2 days. I forgot a lot of my stuff so had to food shop down there, nice that there’s an acme supermarket down the road. It was so nice that I was able to use a couple of things I needed that the house was stocked with some utility items. The house was wonderful! It was absolutely perfect. It was clean. I loved how soft the carpet was on my feet. Super comfy. Beds were ok. I stayed in a place in the past where the beds were so soft they killed my back. The beach was a bit further down then the 2 1/2 blocks but it wasn’t bad. Only thing is beach blvd is pretty hectic both driving and walking so you have to be careful crossing
also no public bathrooms on the beach so had to walk back home a couple of times. However inconvenient that was I think it’s nice because it keeps out a certain element, which is why I asked around about lbi and chose that area. I find the jersey is getting too filled with loud kids and ghetto people. Overall if you’re looking for a quaint, quiet, clean place it’s wonderful!

Great location

This house is in the perfect location. We could see the bay from the property and took a short walk to see the sunset on the bay. Shopping and the beach was a short walk. We walked everywhere and left the car parked. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed in a beach house.

Excellent time in LBI

Awesome two story house with separate entrances - perfect for a larger family beach vacation and a block from the Bay and blocks to the beach. Will definitely come back :)

Clean comfortable Ship Bottom rental

Near the bay and it’s beautiful sunsets, walk to restaurants and stores, very clean 3 bedroom with updated kitchen on second floor of a duplex and small outdoor deck. Spacious beach across Long Beach Blvd. Perfect for our smaller family.

Great Location - Close to the Bay and Beach

Definitely enjoyed my stay at this house! It is very close to the bay and walking distance from the beach. The house was nice, had a second, outdoor shower and washer/dryer. The LBI pancake house and a Pizza place called Joey's is close by and not as crowded as most of the other places further down the island in beach haven. Would definitely return again.

Great Location!!!

Very nice, clean, updated house. Was great to have high-speed Wifi. So close to the beach and the bay made it easy to do some crab catching. Quick walk to stores, restaurants and miniature golf.

Great location, we loved our stay! Recently renovate with a brand new Kitchen. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Easy walk to the beach, and just 2 houses away from the bay (where we watched beautiful sun sets).

Comfortable, Bright and Cheery

Very nice house
 comfortable, bright and cheery. It was clean, nicely furnished and close to beach, mini golf, arcade, stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed sitting by the bay. Nice deck and big yard. We had a great time and will be back.
