SILVER CREEK #1215 - 2 BEDROOM, 1 BATH - BEDDING: Master Bedroom: Pillowtop King Bed, flat screen TV/DVD. Private full bath, BR # 2: Kids room with one set of twin bunks and another set of pyramid bunks (double down, twin up). Flat screen TV/Blu-ray DVD. Hallway full bath outside the door. PLUS: Living Room - 50" flat screen TV/DVD, Queen Sofa bed, Ski storage entry, Washer/Dryer, and wood burning fireplace. Unit has a desk with dual-monitor and keyboard. The kitchen has an air fryer. This unit is perfect for families with a bunch of enthusiastic kids, Silver Creek is Snowshoe's best place for wide trails, shorter lift lines, and less crowded slopes.

SLOPE SIDE

BUILDING AMENITIES: Silver Creek Lodge is just steps from the Silver Creek ski area, which provides great trails, terrain parks, and night skiing. Silver Creek is also home to the Coca-Cola Tube Park and Adaptive Sports Program. Lodge amenities include an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, retail shops, dining options, Locker Room Sports Bar (located on the main level), parking on-site, elevators, public washer/dryer, free WiFi, free long distance dialing, and free Resort Shuttle Service that will transport you to the Western Territory slopes, The Village, or the slopes at Soaring Eagle. Please check Snowshoe's website for hours, openings, and closures. Please note different slopes open/close at different times/days/months.

PLEASE CHECK THE AVAILABILITY OF LIFT TICKETS/LESSONS OR BIKE PARK PASSES/BIKE RENTALS/LESSONS BEFORE MAKING YOUR RESERVATION.

Very comfortable property

The unit was well appointed and clean. My husband, our daughter and son-in-law and 2 year old grandson spent the week here. It was great for the little one, he had plenty of space to play and room for his pack & play in the bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfy. We also greatly appreciated the work space in the bedroom (my daughter had a few work calls to attend) and the awesome number of power ports for charging our electronics. We highly recommend this property.

Great Place

The property itself was great! It was really well stocked and clean, we really enjoyed our stay! The check in and booking process from the host was difficult compared to what you expect now days from a VRBO listing. There were a lot of extra requirements once booked that took extra communication. Not a huge deal, but everything was sent in separate emails and so I didn’t see all of them at first, which meant I got several calls from them while trying to figure that out. The check in required us to drive to a separate location than where the rental is actually located in order to get the keys. Traveling with 5 small children made this a frustrating thing to have to do. Same with check out to return the keys. The people managing the property were all extremely kind, but due to the inconvenience required to check in, we will look for stays with other hosts.

First time at Silver Creek

Everything was just as described and we loved every bit. There were plenty of luggage carts available, the staff at the front desk was very nice, our condo was lovely and had everything we needed, and more. The kitchen appliances were well stocked, there was one of everything! Thank you. And It was so helpful to have a washer and dryer inside the unit. And a work desk in the primary bedroom so that I could stay connected with my office was great. Bonus for the east-facing windows to see beautiful sunrises every morning. And a family of seven deer that lived right outside our window and hung out all day long. My teenage boys loved being so close to the slopes for easy skiing. They thought nighttime skiing was so cool. I was so grateful that the rental shop had size 16 ski boots available. I had read other reviews about the on-site restaurant being very expensive. Which is true. And there is a tiny grocery store just up the mountain in Snowshoe Village. But it is quite expensive also. So I was grateful that I brought plenty of groceries up the mountain with us. If we ever make it back to snowshoe, we would be happy to rent this unit again.

I'm thrilled that everything lived up to your expectations and that the condo provided all the necessities and more, from well-stocked kitchen appliances to the convenience of a washer and dryer. The view of beautiful sunrises and the close encounters with deer certainly add to the special moments during your stay. It's fantastic that your teenage boys enjoyed the proximity to the slopes for easy skiing, especially the thrill of nighttime skiing. And it's great to hear that the rental shop had the right-sized ski boots available for you! Bringing groceries along was a smart move to ensure you had everything you needed. Quick reply. Cozy space & accessible to slopes. 2br/ 2ba with bunk beds for 4 teens. Cooked most all meals in unit kitchen & enjoyed reading nook in master bedroom. In general, the Lodge is rundown & pool & Bears Den is outdated. Unit needs new flooring. Teens say Washer / dryer is sketchy & I agree. Overall, good time on the slopes, but a bit overpriced. Thanks.

Location is everything

Thank you for letting us have your snow cabin for the new year!! Everything was great. The only comment I’d make to make it any better is the cupboard space is really sparse. With Covid, I bring all the food and supplies for our stay and I had to get a little creative with storage space. But the bunks, the charging stations - everything else! It was great for our family!! Thanks again!

Conveniently located

This property is conveniently located and sleeps a large number of people for the price. It is not a luxury space but it's fine, especially if you expect to do a lot of skiing and won't be home much anyway. The kitchen is tiny but has most everything you would need. Everything was very clean.

In accurate information

I was told there was a working fireplace with wood available on property. There was only an electric fireplace , no flame nor heat from it. I confirmed it to be working before booking because I specifically wanted a fireplace . I was blatantly told wrong .

Great remodeled unit! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed.

The unit had plenty of space for us. It was also remodeled which was a huge plus since many units at Solver Creek still feature the original decor. Plenty of kitchen utensils for us to use while cooking. Can’t beat the location and amenities at Silver Creek! We would highly recommend this unit!

Great family weekend

Rooms were very clean and great for a family. My wife looked to see if it was available for our next free weekend, which it was not...bummed because this was a great place to stay.

Silvercreek after Christmas.

Process was very smooth, we found the property to be a little dated with an old washer dryer that broke while we were there. It’s a very small kitchen.

Clean and comfortable, really nice condo!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while skiing at snowshoe and silver creek. It was super clean and very comfortable for our family of four. We would definitely stay at this property again. The property management company is also very thorough and provided wonderful customer service. You won’t be disappointed if you chose to stay at this nice condo!

Fun family ski trip

Clean, spacious, well equipped condo...convenient location for silver creek slopes. Easy shuttle back and forth to snowshoe slopes. Kids enjoyed indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs. People could not have been nicer/more helpful. Earmarking this one for a return trip.
