This unit was PERFECT! GREAT location, convenient to bus and subway. Quiet neighborhood and very walkable. Lovely coffee shop not far away and a grocery store. The amenities were top notch - everything I could need was available in unit. I would definitely stay there again and again.
A truly wonderful, charming, and CLEAN (I am quite picky) stay in such a great location. It’s walkable to Lincoln Park, Pacci’s & other restaurants, coffee shops, Eastern Market, Safeway and Trader Joe’s, and as a young woman traveling alone, I always felt safe any time of day or night. The hosts were so great, kind and communicative, it always felt like I was speaking with a host that was invested in my stay and experience rather than a management company. Bonus, if you are looking for an accessible unit, it really is a great fit. When traveling with my dad, it is difficult to find a stay in this area without stairs. There are only two steps down to the unit and they are VERY manageable and not steep at all, and the entrance is very well lit for those who cannot see very well. There is even a seating area out front to enjoy the neighborhood view, which is incredibly nice for those with physical disabilities who may not be able to leave the property very often. I will 100% be returning, recommending this stay to others, and encouraging my family to choose this unit when they visit, as we do so often. So happy and grateful to have found this stay!!
Wonderful surprise. We have never stayed in a downstairs apartment rental and never have been in DC or another big city. It was very cozy, sweet and comfortable! it was like staying at a close friend's house while they were away! they have everything you could need to cook or really just live! they even had full ice cube trays! My granddaughter (12) was very impressed. We were nervous at first hearing bad things about the city dangers, NOT ONCE did I feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way. we walked a lot. Downtown is not far. got rental bikes and made it to the zoo! GREAT place to stay! highly recommended! OH- however there is a family upstairs and they do walk around a lot at night especially over the bedroom! "Dad" was building the back steps. little noisy starting 4 pm then usually quieted down before the 10 o'clock hour.

Hi Tina, We are happy you found comfort in our home and you had a great stay overall! Thank you for sharing your feedback and allowing us the opportunity to host you, we hope to welcome you back again.
Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement. Nous pouvions tout faire à pied à une distance raisonnable. L'Appatement est fonctionnel et confortable. Le gestionnaire est très disponible et répond rapidement.
Very serviceable accommodation, as advertised. Temperature control great and comfortable bed. Outside entry needs attention, looks like a derelict property and I almost did not want to go in. Very clean indoors but it would help if there was a door mat. Also, bath drainage area badly rusted and looks unsightly. Did not use back door, there was a rug abandoned there which we just left. We enjoyed the apartment and eventually didn’t mind the noise from the people in the unit above our heads, we understand these are old houses and floor boards not exactly soundproof. We never used the well equipped kitchen eating out all the time but everything seemed fine. This is a good place to stay overall. Many thanks.
Spacious, clean and comfortable, this apartment was within easy walking distance of a selection of restaurants. Pleasant neighborhood. We were easily able to use Wi-Fi for connecting with work. More detail in the listing about how parking worked would have been helpful.
