Irene 1602 is a homey beachfront condominium. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo has a furnished balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. This unit is the perfect place for you and your family to call home for a week! Irene 1602 is one of Ocean City's most popular vacation rentals.

The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman. The sofa also offers a queen sleeper for extra guests. The sliding balcony doors allow plenty of natural light to brighten the space. Right off the living room is a small dining area, perfect for meals with the family. Next to the dining area is the pristine, fully-stocked kitchen with a wide counter top, just right for grabbing a quick bite. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, television, and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a pyramid bunk bed with television. The second bathroom is located in the hallway. This property comfortably sleeps up to eight people, so bring the whole family! A building registration fee is collected on arrival at the rental property.

Unit 1602 has the following amenities: central air conditioning, ping pong/fitness center, sun deck, security guards, one parking space (provided at the building with registration fee), two elevators, three TVs, one DVD players, free building Wi-Fi, cable TV, full-size washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove, disposal, dishwasher, and an outdoor foot shower, also a newly renovated Exercise/Game Room.

Pretty Nice Stay

Smelled a little smokey when we first arrived, but a couple of sprays from the fabreeze can seemed to clear it up nicely. Beautiful view and very quiet during our stay.

Great condo!

This overall was a great property. Plenty of room and balcony on both the bay and ocean front. There are very limited cleaning supplies, bring hand soap, dish soap.

Wonderful Views!

This was everything that I had expected! Clean and quiet! The only thing that I would like to tell the next renter is that there is a $40 fee per car that must be paid when you check in at the condo. This wasn’t something I budgeted for.

30th at the Beach

The condo was very clean and spacious, with the exception of the pullout couch. There were crumbs, sand, and a t-shirt in it when we opened it up. That couch is part of what allows the place to “sleep 8”, but it’s meant for children at best. Luckily I brought an air mattress for backup. The only trash can in the kitchen was about a foot tall, and I had to buy some cooking utensils because there were no spatula, claw, or large spoon. It was still a good place to stay. I just expected a little more from a condo with a full kitchen.

Location was great, everything else not so much

The location and views of the property were amazing! Close by multiple stores for essential needs. Before arrival I asked the management company if there were chairs or an umbrella to use on the beach. I was told no I then asked if they knew how much chair or umbrella cost, I was told “I don’t go to the beach”. As the management company, I figured they would have some information regarding this since the unit is on the beach. Also, there are two chairs and an umbrella in the closet. We got to Ocean City earlier then we expected so, I called the management company to see if the unit was possibly ready or could be ready earlier then 3pm, I was told no that they have not heard from the cleaning company and I would receive a text when it was ready. We had to find something to do for 4 hours. I walked into the office before 3pm and everything was ready but I didn’t receive a text. We get to the unit and we’re so happy with the view and layout. But I wasn’t informed that the parking pass for the week is 60. We of course started walking around and checking things out. This led us to question what did the cleaning company clean? There were wrappers all over the second bedroom with the bunk beds. The master bed was made so I removed the top sheet to discover grass and stains on the sheets. The bed frame was disgusting and there was stuff on the floor under the bed. I didn’t let it ruin our trip but I was upset. Just be prepared to clean. There also is no number on the outside door.

Loved it!

Fantastic condo and location, very clean and great setup! Loved the balcony and the owners even keep a large selection of books on hand to read. Would definitely stay again!

Good place for vacation

Enjoyed our stay. Property is fairly well kept. Just the carpet was dirty in the sense it had blackish dirt stains. Informed the property management.

Weekend

Apartment was clean with a nice ocean view. There is a lot of renovation work going on in the building but it didn’t affect us too much. Had to pay $40 for parking which wasn’t aware of, considering had already paid double the rental price in “fees” to the agency. Personally prefer going with private owners. But overall an enjoyable stay!

Carpet was very dirty. Toilet paper rack in hall bathroom was broken. Towel rack in master bathroom was broken. Front door was very hard to open with key. Overall not so great.
