Amazing charming apartment with swimming pool (2 bedrooms-2 bathrooms, and a half bath) located 10 STEPS from the sand of the most beautiful urban beach in Puerto Rico. Located in Condado and Ocean Park, San Juan, a lively (and the safest) neighborhood. Walking distance to a variety of local and trendy restaurants and 10 minutes cab ride from the airport and Old San Juan. We have a power plant in case the electricity goes of in the area, very important since Hurricane Maria!!!
Enjoy the peaceful breeze and sun in the mornings in the top roof swimming pool or beach and then have fun exploring restaurants, pubs, disco, etc. in Condado (drinks), Old San Juan (Salsa), Isla Verde (disco), Piñones (Bomba y Plena) in the evenings.
Ask the owner for larger groups.

Swimming pool available: You share our top roof swimming pool with our other apartment, Sol.

Top entertainment walking distance: We have all kind of restaurants: Puertorican, Mexican, Japanish, Spaniard, international, healthy, vegetarian, Argentinian, Italian, French, Peruvian...walking distance.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The property has plenty of space and is quiet and comfortable. We walked to lunch and dinner everyday, and greatly enjoyed being so close to the beach!

The owner and manager are exceptional. The step by step info to get there, enter, and use the property were all 100% clear. The design of this building is unique and worked well for our family of 6, 2 parents 4 young adults. Perhaps it is worth mentioning that this wouldn't be a good fit for anyone that can't carry luggage and supplies up stairs.This is a busy rental property with some areas of wear and tear, all typical for the area. Despite that, this place was cleaned very well and we were immediately comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and access to the beach can't be beat! Appreciated the available chairs, toys, etc as this saved us some . We loved the roof, a couple of flights of stairs up and you are in a different world. The view is incredible, the small rooftop pool was a lot of fun after busy days in SJ.Perhaps the biggest impact on us was the extensive info provided for the area by the owner and manager. The detailed info on restaurants, points of interest, etc. was so great and beyond appreciated! We would 100% go back to this property without hesitation!

Roof top pool was the best!

Great vacation

Great location. Just a very short walk to the beach. Spacious accommodations. Only issue was shower in the second bathroom did not have hot water. Of all our past visits to Puerto Rico this was the the best place where we have stayed.The next time we come to San Juan we plan to stay with you again.I

We absolutely loved our stay at this family-friendly property. (2 adults, and 2 kids ages 8 and 10). The location is ideal for anyone who wants to experience local food and local neighborhood delights without being too far from the more touristy areas. There were kids on scooters in the street, friendly cats, and welcoming local businesses. Ana provided restaurant recommendations that were all spot on; there is so much great food within walking distance. The apartment itself is well appointed and comfortable. We had a few leak issues perhaps due to heavy rain one of the days, but nothing that impacted our enjoyment. The rooftop pool is absolutely lovely, and the beach just outside the apartment is quiet and beautiful. We were already plotting our return by the time we left!

Great visit

My friends and I had a great week at this property. It was a super quiet neighborhood with easy walking access to a number of shops, bars, and restaurants, great beach within a few steps, super easy to access the property, amazing penthouse pool and deck with views of the beach, the host Ana was very welcoming and quick to respond to any question, very short uber rides to Old San Juan, and the air-conditioning was in perfect order. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay!

We loved staying here! So close to the beach, restaurants and grocery! Easy check in/check out and great recommendations from the owner about exciting things to do! The owners also recommended the tour company Fix a Trip - Sergio accommodated us last minute and our boat tour was amazing!! We would love to go back!

Absolute paradise!

What a wonderful stay we had staying at the MAR. The rental was clean, and had was in a great location to many restaurants, and the beach. Coordinating the stay with Isabel was easy, and she was very helpful and knowledgable about the area. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend this property!!

Wonderful accommodations and location!!!

We took our family of 6 to PR for spring break March of 2019. This is a wonderful apartment with enough room for us all. So close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and a top notch yoga studio. We definitely recommend this location for other families.

Fabulous vacation!

We had an amazing time. The villa was comfy, great location to the beach and restaurants. Morning coffee on the roof deck and checking out the stars in the evening. Beautiful view of the ocean and relaxing sound of waves.

Fantastic location and accomodation

The property was beautiful, with an amazing living area and very well kept rooms/bathrooms. The rooftop lounge and pool area was also a very relaxing spot to wind down after a long day or enjoy a few drinks before a night out in San Juan. The proximity to an excellent beach was one of the many great aspects to the property as well. I will definitely try to stay here if/when I make a return trip to San Juan.

A great apartment

We were very pleased with the apartment. One note of caution, it is located on the second floor and the pool is on the fourth - lot of stairs!

Thank you, Bonnie. Yes, this apartment is the penthouse so to get into the apartment MAR there are 20 steps to the apartment door. Then, the pool is two flights up (25 steps). The first one is our other unit SOL, and the second one is the pool area. The pool and the two washer and dryer are the only thing you share with our other unit.

Great location

Exceptional host! kind and helpful. The location is across the street from a beautiful beach and just blocks away from many restaurants with any variety of food or local fare.

Great space in San Juan

This property worked out very well for our diverse needs as a group. The rooftop patio was an amazing space to gather and enjoy the sunshine. We loved being so close to the beautiful beach with lots of opportunities for exploration & adventure in San Juan.

This was a great place. We loved the quieter location. The owners were there at the same time and they are such GREAT people. We would stay here again. We wish there would have been more bath towels. The place was very well furnished.

Getaway with childhood friends

The apartment was perfect for 5 of us. We had ample space and enjoyed the apartment, the pool, and the location to the beach. We took ubers, taxis, and rented a car for part of the stay. Easy with transport, close proximity to restaurants. We loved the vacation. We would do it again!

Family getaway

What can I say, the view was amazing, the location is perfect. Quite, safe street. The open floor plan of the apartment worked well for us with a 1 yr old who wanted to just crawl and walk around. The whole trip was wonderful and the apartment gave it the home feel instead of the feeling of a hotel.

We are a family of five. The parents are from Spain and one kid, the other two boys were born in Atlanta, GA. We moved to Puerto Rico 14 years ago and love this Island with our heart. Each room has ocean views!!!!

In San Juan, there is nothing comparable with our two units sharing the top roof pool with the sound of the ocean, the breeze. This unis has a hammock too. We provide everything and stay available for anything you can possibly need 24/7.
Our WIFI system is fast and free optical fiber. The power plant is a must in PR!
