This house was perfect for two families on a ski vacation. Very close to Sunday river. The two hang out areas allowed plenty of room to spread out. The games were awesome too. The house was also very clean. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay…

House was fantastic and very close to mountain. Great to stay off mountain with more space and privacy, but be at the mountain in 8min or so. Mickey and Beth were very gracious and friendly hosts. House was really well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!

Mountain time

Our stay in Maine was wonderful. The house was perfect, with plenty of amenities. Exactly as described and the hosts were helpful and quick to respond to our needs. We hope to come back and use this great property again.

Great Sunday River Ski Weekend

We had a great time at the house. It was incredibly clean and we loved the open kitchen and living space. The kitchen is very well stocked. It was about 7-10 min away from Sunday River and very quick to get to places like the good food market! Would definitely come again

Great Property

House was perfectly setup with everything you need for a ski trip. Everything is new the kitchen is very well equipped and the mudroom area is great. Overall - the place is even nicer than the pictures online! 8 mins to Sunday River parking lot - very easy drive. Hope to return again.

Great House Minutes to Sunday River

This house has so much space for 2 families! It has a great first floor level that the kids can hang out in with foosball and a great tv while the parents can have their own space upstairs. It's on a quiet street about 5 minutes past the access road . It's a fast ride to the mountain! Highly recommend!

This place is a gem

Wow. This place is amazing. It's super clean, up to date, and perfectly stocked. It feels like home the second you walk in. The owners are easy to communicate with, and thorough in what they send you for info. Glorious little gem with perfect space for two families really close to Sunday River. Best ski house we've ever rented!

Excellent!

We love staying at this property. The hosts are fantastic answering questions on Vrbo. The house is perfectly stocked and has plenty of space with a hang out area in the basement for the kids. It is just past the access road. Not far at all....We have stayed three times and hope to return.

Family ski trip

We LOVED this home for it's ease of use. We were able to get access early to avoid travelling in the snowstorm and the great mudroom area with it's many pegs, hooks, and racks was perfect for the gear! LOVE the large family room/kitchen area for gathering, tv and games and playing with our 10 mo old grandson. We mostly spent time there, and even cooked some meals in the perfect kitchen. Bedrooms were great so we could all spread out and the downstairs bar/entertainment room, while not used much, made for a wonderful space to escape. Outside, there is a trail but because of the baby and the new snow, we stuck to the street for a short sled ride while the rest skied. Easy drive to ski area....get there early for parking. Had a nice sushi dinner at a local restaurant and the brew pub at the base of the mountain was fun too, with a great view of the slopes! SUCH A GREAT TIME!

Super clean and convenient!

We stayed here with another family that we ski with every year. Since COVID, finding homes has been difficult, so this was our first visit to this house despite many trips to Bethel. We were not disappointed! The house is very conveniently located to Sunday River and has everything that we needed and then some. We cooked almost every morning and night and the kitchen is very well-equipped. Our kids really enjoyed the bunk rooms and the play area the basement offered. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks To the Rooney’s for sharing their lovely home with us!

Quick Trip to Maine with Teens!

We just returned from an amazing last minute trip up to Bethel! My husband and I were hoping to get away with our kids and a handful of their friends...this house was set up beautifully for that! Kids were downstairs in their own space and we were upstairs! I have to say it’s AAY better than the pictures - beautiful and comfortable and perfect for what we were looking for! We enjoyed all Bethel had to offer and to come home to such an awesome place to cook dinner and relax in was amazing! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

Great home, lots of room

Great place to go see colors, enjoy the Sunday river or potentially hit the slopes(too early for us). Home is well stocked with dishes/towels/pans etc. The home was cozy, nicely decorated and very clean.

Labor Day Getaway

Mickey and Beth were amazing from the 1st to the last day and very responsive to any questions we had. We had some trouble finding the house using GPS (due to the very private location) i gave them a call and they stood on the phone and guided us to the house. once we arrived the house was even better then the pictures. everything we needed was there, we had kids with us who loved having their own space downstairs with xbox and kitchenette. ( we barely saw them lol) overall this was one of the best homes I've booked through Home Away, will definitely rent again for ski season :).

Perfect getaway spot

This property was the perfect vacation spot. If you are looking to hike in Mahoosuc Range, White Mountains and a part of Northern Appalachian area or swimming/fishing/kayaking/Paddling in the Androscoggin river or the nearby ponds in bethel then this is the perfect property to stay. Amenities in this house were all fantastic and the private access to the Androscoggin river with a prime fishing spot is priceless. Thanks a lot Charles for making our vacation memorable!!
