We loved every day of our stay. The location provided beautiful views from every room. We enjoyed roaming the shops in town, spent time looking at our property to plan next steps, and hiked at Grayson Highlands State Park. Definitely would stay at this beautiful location again.

Very nice, enjoyed our stay. When the shower is used in the hall bathroom there is a problem with the other bathroom toilet. Very little water pressure in hall bathroom.Overall it is a lovely place to stay.

Dear deer and other wildlife

Second time here. Loved it. Great views and lots of wildlife everywhere we went.Enjoyed seeing the lightening bugs at night. Like twinkling stars. Clean and comfortable. Don't mind the steep driveway. Just put your car in low gear and you'll do fine.

Loved it. Second time here. Beautiful mountain views and sunsets. Enjoyed the lighting bugs at night, they were like stars twinkling. Remember the driveway is steep, just go into a lower gear and you will do fine.

Travel from hell

I tried three times to get into contact with our host before travel time. I even contacted support twice still wasn’t able to contact the host. So I clicked the get directions button on the vrbo app which to me to the middle of nowhere in THE MJDDLE OF THE WOODS. I HAD NO SERVICE WHERE THE GPS TOOK ME SO I HAD TO DRIVE IN CIRCLES FOR HOURS IN THE WOODS TRYING TO GET SERVICE. WHEN I FINALLY DID GET SERVKCE I WAS TOLD THE GET DIRECTIONS BUTTON IS USELESS AND NOT THE CORRECT ADDRESS. HAD OUR HOST RESPONDED ONE KF THE THREE TIMES I REACHED OUT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. TO BE HONEST ID LIKE SOME TYPE OF REIMBURSEMENT

Perfect location for hiking & biking at New River Trail State Park. Our Evolve host was very responsive! The views were spectacular & the hot tub was an added benefit as well! The house has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation!

Amazing cozy home in Galax

We loved staying at this cozy home in Galax. Communication was quick and consistent from the start. The house and property was immaculate. The home was just as described but even better in person. Amazing views from every part of the home. The wrap around porch was the perfect way to start our morning with coffee and a sunrise and end with a sunset. The hot tub was an added bonus! We can’t wait to stay here again.

Wonderful stay

The property was very close to the pics. We had a wonderful stay with perfect weather and the host thought of everything guests needed. The views were beautiful from the home up on a mountain and we plan to book again

Mountain views

It is an older home, fairly clean, but needs some updating. It has lovely sunsets and mountain views. Very quiet there. Floors make noise whenever walked on. Fireplace is none functional. But overall, it is a nice quiet retreat.

Relax in Galax

Nice place, quiet and peaceful. Met the needs of our family - adult kids and grand baby. Would have given 5 stars but had noticeable stains on bed spread in main bedroom. Otherwise, clean & comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub. Will consider again when visiting family in area.

Loved the views, Hot tub, deer, cows, wild turkeys People in the town of Galax so kind. Blue Ridge music center is wonderful and has nice hiking trails out back

Amazing View

Absolutely amazing view, we was 100% amazed when the fog moved across the mountains. 3 bedrooms 2 baths with a hot tub is exactly what we needed. We cooked dinner every night and the kitchen was fully stocked. They even had some spices in the cabinet. When we go back we will staying here again.

RELAX MODE

Stayed here with my wife for a couple days prior to a vacation at a beach in SC, it was a half way point in our travels. The views, the smells of the countryside & the remoteness is exactly what we needed prior to meeting up with extended family in SC.

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I stayed two enjoyable nights at this clean and fresh home. It’s location is ideal for our tastes; quiet, secluded but secure, with great mountain views from wraparound porch. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch swing listening to birds and breathing fresh mountain air. Evening time we relaxed in the hot tub and around the fire pit, watching fireflies. The home is as described, home host responsive within minutes. Kitchen is modernized and well stocked and bathrooms recently updated, king bed comfortable. We were twenty minutes from Blue Ridge Music Center where we loved hearing rollicking Scythian band, 15 minutes from New River Trail for biking, and 45” from Grayson Highlands State Park for beautiful elevated hiking. Visited friendly West Wind Winery in Max Meadows with nice views for sipping tasty wines. This spot is an ideal home base for exploring southwest Virginia. We hope to return!
