Just like a good wine, this centrally located holiday home at the north end of Waihi Beach with all the toys is best enjoyed with good friends and family.
Great location, just mins walk from shops and beach plus local fav beachfront Flat White Café.
Lots of extras (pool table, ping pong, volleyball and pétanque court, boat garage, bbq and outdoor area, unlimited wifi and Netflix) 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 10, perfectly set up for groups of family and friends.

This is a great stay for a group of 6 women. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. We had perfect weather while in Waihi beach so we all had a fantastic time

A great get away!

A great holiday home that was as described, fantastic location and room for the family to spread out. It had everything that we need, including equipment such as balls, table tennis table, skim board, etc... Easy walking distance to the beach, and excellent instructions for everything to do with the property.

We booked this house for our family gathering and it was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone, 7 adults, a couple of teenagers and a child. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond when messaged. Fantastic location. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect large family bach

Stayed here with 9 of us. Was a very large and roomy home. Lots of space to not be in each others pockets. Host was very responsive to messages. Table tennis bats could use replacing and pool table is a bit wonky and needs new felt, however tthe family still made great use of these things. Puzzle selection was awesome.

An awesome property that ticks all our boxes as a family of 10 in 10 Palm Grove

We were so rapt that we booked this fabulous big property to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary for labour weekend with our lovely family .It catered so well for everyone right to the youngest grandchild. there were so many games and activities provided you could either rest up or join in and have fun . . It’s a beautifully presented clean house with fantastic spacious bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge area and has awesome outdoor dining areas. It is located a few minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the local shopping centre . What more could one want ? Our host was Amazing and answered any queries we had which werent many, promptly and provided us with all the info we required to ensure an absolutely fantastic stay . We will be definitely booking it again .

Fabulous House for large Family

This property suited our need with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The indoor out door flow was great and there was heaps of room for everyone. The open plan kitchen dining lounge was a fantastic space and with a large dining room table. Our guest where very grateful for such a house.

Celebration

Great place to weather a storm

We had great time in Waihi during a big storm. Family enjoyed the facilities when we weren't able to make the most of the beach. When the clouds finally opened it was a awesome location close to beach and village. We'll be back!

Girls weekend

Our group really enjoyed staying at this property. There is so much space in the house that it didn't feel crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook and serve food. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure is amazing! Will definitely recommend to others.

Week at the Beach

A great place for a couple of families close to the beach. Well stocked with every convenience you need. Plenty for everyone to do including the children. Roomy and quiet we has a great week. Would certainly recommend to others.

Large, sunny, open plan living, kitchen, dining downstairs that flows into a generous outdoor patio with new BBQ, outdoor couch and outdoor dining for 10. Lounge area is fully equipped with new TV, soundbar for TV has bluetooth connection for devices and doubles as excellent stereo system. Large array of playstation and board games as well as all the toys in the garage including pool and ping pong. Extra height second garage door if you want to bring your boat. Master bedroom is downstairs with huge ensuite featuring bath as well as shower. Second shower/toilet downstairs with 2 singles in another bedroom next to master. Upstairs we have 2 queen rooms, another double single and large bathroom with both bath and shower. Upstairs deck and air conditioning allow for an extra adult getaway space from the kids. The kitchen is fully equipped and there's plenty of lounge and dining seating. This house is an excellent choice for families or friends wishing to holiday together and share costs.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It's just a short walk down the road to the ocean beach, with one of Waihi Beaches better cafes the Flat White only a short walk away. This house is also on a quiet cul de sac perfect for kids biking or scootering, in the middle there is a communal volleyball area and petanque court. The street also has a cut through to the local school field so kids can play on the fields or playground.

Nearby Waihi Beach village (5 min walk) is full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and cafes, a small supermarket and award-winning butcher making this area full of everything you need for that perfect getaway!

The beaches nearby are wonderful for walking, shell collecting, swimming, surfing or playing in the sand. There are many well equipped children’s playgrounds in the area as well as great walking and biking tracks including the famous Mountain Bike trail through the Karangahake Gorge. This trail is great for kids (or any age) you pass over bridges, through tunnels and explore the old gold mine and water fall. Bike hire is possible in Waihi town or the Waihi Beach village.

This beach house is in an ideal location to explore the Bay of Plenty. Tauranga is a 1-hour drive, and Coromandel is 1.5 hours. The Karangahake Gorge is 20 minutes away for wonderful walking and exploring as well as a winery, restaurant and café, a waterfall and bike trails. Hobbiton is only an hours drive away and the famous Waitomo Caves or Rotorua both 1.5-2 hours away by car. Auckland International airport is also only 2 hours drive.
