Tropical Oasis by Beach with Pool - Footprints South

The South Cottage is located just a minute away from Alleyne Bay and offers a private tropical oasis with a sleek and stylish finish. The infinity-edge pool is situated in the middle of the courtyard, surrounded by lush greenery and comfortable lounge furniture. A covered dining area is also a favorite place for guests to enjoy meals. A few steps from the courtyard takes you to the main living area, which is decorated in a contemporary style. Lots of white is used throughout, creating a relaxing effect. The kitchen is modern and cozy with a breakfast bar with seating and an island separating the living areas.

The South Cottage offers three bedrooms. The master suite includes a king-sized bed, workspace, ensuite bathroom, and views of the courtyard and pool. The second bedroom features two twin beds, while the third bedroom, with neutral tones and fine finishes, offers a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and pool view.

The staff is professional and friendly without being intrusive. All of your needs are taken care of while you enjoy a mimosa at your Barbados holiday rental. Alleyne's Bay is less than a minute's walk away and is the perfect place to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine. JuJu's Beach Bar is located on the beachfront and sits next to Lone Star Restaurant. Both restaurants offer great food choices depending on your preference for a casual or fine dining experience.

A stay at Footprints South Cottage promises complete rejuvenation. Just a 5-minute drive away, Holetown offers luxury shopping, fine dining, golf, and tennis. For a more personalized experience, our Concierge Team can arrange all of your on-island activities.

For larger groups, Footprints (8 bed) is a great option. Footprints can also be rented as a 5 bedroom vacation rental option. We also offer the option of booking both Footprints North Cottage and Footprints South Cottage for a combined 6 bedroom vacation rental.

Please note: Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises. Construction in an adjacent lot is expected to commence near to April 2026. Inquire for details. Reduced rates are being reflected for the construction period.

Me and my friends adored this place. From the moment we pulled up Andrea was sure to make us feel the vacation had started and accommodated every request. The house is just as beautiful as the photos. They seemed to have thought of every detail and it smelled amazing. Even prior to arrival Andrea was communicative and helpful. Sheena was also amazing. It felt like we had a family away from home looking out for us. I couldn't recommend this place more and any time we're in Barbados we'll be staying here!

Thank you so much for your amazing, efficient, professional attention to detail service at footprints! The staff is so kind and caring and do their work with such a pleasure. The staff ended up being the highlight of the trip. It was great chatting with everyone and getting to know them. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and I hope to one day cook half as good as good as you all do! Maybe we will get to see each other again one day in the future!

Ladies Caribbean Getaway

Wonderful holiday with South Cottage definitely a highlight. Walking outside every morning with our coffee to the outdoor living area, then breakfast beautifully prepared and enjoyed by all, was a wonderful way to start each day. The cottage was very well appointed, modern decor, very clean and welcoming. Beds were very comfy. Location was central. Of course staff were amazing. Sabrina was a help in every way! Both her and Alice arrived every morning with beautiful smiles and always extended warm hospitality. We did not miss a day (or evening) at the beautiful beach, with its warm waters and gorgeous sunsets. Several day trips were included in our holiday and all were worth it....St Nicholas Abbey, Hunts Gardens, Bathsheba, Holetown. The fish market on Fridays is a fun experience too. Eateries included...La Cabanier, Jumba. A must is The Fish Pot. You can do a water taxi to the restaurant if you chose to go at lunch. Cocktails (Dark and Stormy) at The Horney Ram and La Cabanier (which is right on the beach). Thank you to everyone at Footprints/South Cottage and Blue Sky for making our Caribbean Getaway a 5 star experience. We hope to return.

5 STARS! Footprints South Cottage

I have to tell you, that I have never felt so well taken care of as I did at Footprints. We were introduced to Sheena and Sabrina when we arrived, who were quite honestly 2 of the best humans I have had the pleasure of meeting on a vacation. They not only took care of us (laundry and cleaning); they made the most delicious breakfast (Sheena's omelettes are on point!), and their bright personalities made us feel so welcomed and truly made our day right from the start. They were professional while providing a casual and friendly, human element to the luxurious accommodations that we were so pleased with. They provided us with great shopping recommendations and tips on local restaurants, how to get around town, where to walk, etc. These 2 ladies made our stay with Isle Blue/ Blue Sky absolutely perfect. You are a very lucky organization to have such talent on your team! When we return to Barbados, I assure you that we will consider Footprints first; as long as Sheena and Sabrina are available 😊
