The Douglas on Third is a 100 year old building that has been completely redone, inside and out and offers one of the few places to stay on historic 3rd Street in downtown McMinnville. The rooms are quaint, not overly large, but we have built in most everything you will need during your visit!

*In order to maintain a romantic and restful ambience we do not permit guests under 10 years of age.

All VRBO guest will have access to the on site laundry room. You will be able to pay for your laundry services via a debit or credit card. You can also download the app to see when your laundry will be ready!

Each VRBO has its own living space inside of the individual units. The Douglas on Third offers a Community Space for Residents and or Guests to enjoy a central common space to relax and get to know others staying at The Douglas.

Go wine tasting at your neighboring wineries and vineyards! The Douglas is located directly on Historic 3rd Street, which hosts 15 tasting rooms, dozens of award winning restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Over 50 local vineyards such as Archery Summit, Domaine Serene, and Domaine Drouhin are within 15 minutes, making this the ultimate wine country getaway!

The Location could not be any better! Since the Douglas on Third is directly on Historic Third Street, you have the opportunity to walk to tasting rooms, restaurants & entertainment! We love that people can enjoy our amazing downtown and then walk safely back to their VRBO at The Douglas on Third. The Douglas on Third VRBO is the perfect place for you to stay during your time in McMinnville!

Our 2nd stay at Douglas on Third

We were in room #1, which was compact, but it had everything we needed, including a full kitchen. Great location, close to downtown McMinnville restaurants. Very clean.

Well located and comfy

Perfect spot to explore McMinnville and Willamette wine country. It could use a bit of tweaking by adding a few small conveniences. Water pressure in the bathroom was too low. Otherwise a good value overall.

Perfect location, great for couples

This is a compact and attractive apartment ideal for a couple interested in exploring McMinnville and the Willamette Valley wine country. The location is perfect, with the entire McMinnville commercial district and its many cafes, restaurants, and tasting rooms only steps away. The manager (Lucetta) was also exceptionally responsive and hospitable, typically answering messages within an hour. When we reported an issue with the hot water pressure in our shower, and it was clear the problem could not be fixed before our departure, she did the right thing by moving us to an open unit in the same building and reducing our fee. We would certainly consider staying here again.

This apartment is in the most perfect location. The owner is attentive and very communicative. Everything was clean and we were close to all local restaurants, things to do, etc. I would highly recommend!

Good location, fun little town!

Loved McMinnville and everything there was to offer. The VRBO was well-priced, although cozy, bed was too soft and the furniture a bit rickety. Had a great time.

Enjoyed our stay!

Charming, nicely remodelled apartment in a heritage building situated within walking distance to everything. However, quality of bed linens was disappointing and in need of upgrading.

The apartment was great. It was clean and very inviting. It was small but perfectly organized.

McMinnville is a vibrant little town, and the apartment was just what we wanted for our three day stay. Its location is fantastic: We found excellent eating places, wine bars, and cute shops just steps away.

Very Cute Apartment in downtown McMinnville

This apartment was super cute and cozy!! We enjoyed our stay quite a lot...it was a little loud since the Turkey-rama was happening but overall is was great. Our host was very kind and even left us a bottle of wine!

The Douglas in owned and run in partnership by the Elmers and the Moens, who have been dear friends since the late 1990's. Over a year ago, the couples decided that they wanted to take on a fun project, and thus the Douglas on Third came about. Meeting new people, introducing them to the town and community they love, and simply being hospitable is something they are all passionate about. They cannot wait to make your stay at the Douglas on Third a memorable and enjoyable one.
