Would recoomend

It was nice. Well kept and not too far from the beach. Will not really get to see the sunset from the proch but is nice in the mornings. Would recommend for a quite get away.

Perfect beach house

We loved this house! The host sure set the house up with plenty of everything you would find in your own home including beach chairs. We will definitely be back. Clean, nice, quiet neighborhood steps away from the beach. Loved the beach decoration vibe inside. Only one thing to fix is the plumbing in one of the showers..we found the plunger on our last day. Perfect vacation!

Quiet neighborhood & lovely trees

Sadly, we came at a time when the Red Tide was bad, so this affected our overall enjoyment of the lovely beach. For the few minor things that I needed to call Rob about, he responded very quickly by phone. However, he couldn't make any changes during our stay because he is a long-distance owner.

Perfect 30th Anniversary

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Rob was wonderful to work with and everything was exactly as described. Finally.....location, location, location. This property is definitely hard to beat. Thanks Rob.

Relaxing weekend getaway

Great location to private beach access….short walking distance. We had some issues with getting our rental car out of airport, but luckily the complimentary golf cart transport was available by local restaurant. The house was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely would stay there again. Be sure to check for “red tide” warnings…. it was difficult t to truly enjoy this great property.

Perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway

The place was perfect. Very clean and everything you needed. Check in process was easier than a hotel. Property owner responds quickly and makes sure you have everything you need. The beach is right next to the house down a little path and was amazing. Nice, quiet, and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful Beach Locale

Clean, quiet and a short stroll to a very nice beach. 20 minutes to downtown Venice. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

Birthday getaway

This Manasota Key property was perfect. It is very close to the Englewood beach area restaurants, and literally a 2 minute walk down the lane to a gorgeous and very private beach. The house itself was lovely, and had everything we needed.. It was very quiet and peaceful, but close to everything. We would love to come back!!

Christmas getaway

This property is absolutely amazing. We had a nice quiet Christmas getaway and this was the perfect location. The house was spaceous and very clean. Just steps from a beautiful private beach. The landscaping was very nice. Local restaurants we great. It was the perfect family trip. Rob is a gracious owner and responds quickly to emails. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and allowing us to make some great memories.

Nice beach getaway

Very well kept property, well stocked and clean. Not beachfront technically but had a private driveway steps from the beach, it literally takes one minute of walking to get to the beach access point. Beach was empty every time. They have some beach chairs and beach toys available if you have kids. Nice hose outside to wash off your sand before coming in. Overall very happy with our local weekend getaway.

Private paradise for 4

This home was impeccably clean when we arrived. The location is VERY private and the beach is exactly as the description says, a few steps away. Each time we walked to the beach, there was nobody for what seemed like 1 mile in each direction. I highly recommend this home for your family of 4 and Rob was a pleasure to communicate with.

Don’t pass on this property if staying on Manasota Key

Amazing property with all the necessary amenities. The pictures do not do it justice. Lots of space, recently updated kitchen and flooring make this the perfect house for a family of four. To top it off the private beach which is about 100 steps away and through a small path between two houses (shared with the approx 10 houses on the small road) is amazing. We may have seen 20 different people the entire week so if privacy is your thing, look no further. Rob was excellent to communicate with and was happy to quickly answer all questions. The only thing that we felt was missing were maybe some table games (we love to play games in the evening as a family) and a second beach umbrella but honestly not a neg just a nice to have. There were however plenty of beach chairs, floats and shelling/shark tooth finding tools. Overall was amazing and would absolutely go back. Our kids 13 and 17 even said they would prefer over Long boat and Siesta key after visiting those places for a day. Recommend using Allure boat rentals for any jet skiing/kayaking needs and take the time to go out in the evenings to watch for nesting turtles/recent turtle hatchlings but take bug spray. Can’t say enough good things. Thank you Rob!

Home Away from Home + the Beach!

Amazing property with a wonderful host. Rob was so helpful and responded very quickly to any questions. Property was beautiful and extremely clean! The home was equipped with everything we needed from linen and beach towels, to beach chairs, cooking utensils, and an up to date kitchen. A very short walk to a beautiful, secluded beach. Definition of relaxation... Shopping about 15 minutes away. All around lovely place, and we hope to go back again soon!

Short walk to the beach

We really enjoyed our relaxing family vacation in this home. The island was perfect and it was a short trip to the restaurants and bars on the island. The private beach is clean and beautiful. Lots of wildlife in the yard and the mango tree was great for fresh fruit.

My wife and I bought this house in December 2012 to retire to. That's still a ways off. In the meantime, we travel here a few times each year to enjoy the house and all the natural beauty the area has to offer. We want you to do the same!

Manasota Key is a hidden gem and the location of our house is ideal for enjoying nearby shopping, dining and entertainment while relaxing in the shade of our beautiful gnarled oak trees and taking in sunsets every night on your own private beach! We haven't wasted any time in completely updating the house, including new kitchen, flooring, fixtures, windows, doors, AC system, etc. The exterior has been freshly painted and the property professionally landscaped. A tropical paradise!
