Thoughtfully designed with a Northwoods theme, this little retreat features a warm and inviting fireplace and an open-concept kitchen and living area that maximizes the space while offering modern amenities for your comfort, such as a fully equipped kitchen and gas fireplace.
Upper Eau Claire Lake, a stunning 1,000-acre clear-water haven, invites you to explore a myriad of outdoor activities such as fishing, swimming, water skiing, and canoeing. Upper Eau Claire Lake connects with Middle and Lower Eau Claire lakes for even more water adventures. Easy day trips to Minnesota's North Shore, Bayfield, and the Apostle Islands offer breathtaking scenery about an hour away, while the bustling resort town of Hayward is only a short 20-minute drive away. This lakeside gem offers the perfect balance of Lakeside fun and proximity to unforgettable experiences

Loved it!

The only feedback is the nostalgic sleeping on the bottom bunk bed, the mattress wasn’t very comfortable. The place is super cute, great breeze, everything you need including the view!

Stay at Upper Eau Clare

It was wonderful. We did have an issue with bugs. Management came and took care of it. Then we were fine. Had a great week.

5 Star Stay!

If you are looking for a beautiful location, amazing cabin and wonderful cabin owners this place is for you! My family and I stayed at this location for 2 weeks. The cabin is super clean, accommodations were super comfortable, location to the lake and your own private dock were amazing! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay on the Eau Claire Chain of Lakes. Also, if you have not dealt with North Country Rental they are fantastic. Tammi is so helpful and on top of everything! Could not have asked for a better vacation!

Clean and Comfortable

My family and I booked this cabin because the pictures made it look clean and comfortable. Well let me tell you the pictures do not lie! The communication from the rental company was very thorough and the owners that live on the property are absolutely wonderful. We rebooked this cabin again for the following year we loved it so much! I would absolutely recommend this cabin to others!

Great cozy cabin!

Exceptionally clean cabin, with a well supplied kitchen. Very friendly owners on site. Bonus of hearing night chorusing by the loons!

Nice cabin

Cabin was just as listed, cute and cozy. We were there in the fall and it was really cold outside in the evenings that weekend. Wished there had been a deck of cards or a board game or two, outside of that, great place.
