This house is absolutely beautiful. The furniture and decorations are tasteful and were even seasonally decorated. Kitchen and Bathroom very clean and even a few snacks and a bottle of wine were provided. I can only recommend this property and will definitely stay there again.

Worked for what we needed!

The beach house worked great for what we needed. Our contact host was super nice & great. No true complaints just comments - the floors were filthy. Our feet turned literally black from walking on the floors so I’m unsure if or when they were last cleaned. We used the swiffer that was in the closet to help, but shouldn’t have had to mop for our stay. The microwave didn’t work - but that didn’t bother us as we didn’t really need it for our short weekend stay. The host did offer to come out to fix or replace it during our stay, but we truly didn’t need it so we told her don’t worry about it but just wanted to let her know it wasn’t working. The flooring shifts in a lot of different spots. The bunk bed area is super cute! Good location not too far from beach. Quiet area.

Very comfortable & pet friendly.

We really enjoyed the rental property-- the decor was a pleasant beachy vibe, everything worked, the big deck was relaxing and mostly shaded throughout the day.

It worked for the weekend. Great communication!

Carmen was very communicative and helpful. Pros: great cold AC, nice appliances, location (playground one block away for my 5 yo), parking. Cons: The main bed in the bedroom is VERY soft and just not very comfortable (has an egg crate on top of the mattress, it seems). So soft that my husband and I kind of rolled toward the middle. There were a few lights out (above both bunk beds), and one kitchen cabinet door was about to fall off. The shower is difficult - either scalding or cold, which was challenging with a child. I think these are easy things that can be easily fixed. There are a few beach things in the bedroom closet, but I didn't know that until arrival. We drove to the beach. A map of how to access the beach (picture) would be a good thing to add to this listing.

Nice quiet unit

My husband and I along with our dog had a quick anniversary and new year’s celebration here. We enjoyed exploring Dauphin Island. The unit was as listed. The dishwasher was not working but Carmen had warned us about it and supplied paper plates and plastic ware so we didn’t need to wash as many dishes.

Great Find

We enjoyed our weekend in Dauphin Island! The Condo was easy to access with plenty of room to park and had all of the amenities needed for our short stay. All the lights were on and the A/C was blasting when we got there, which was nice because we got in late on the first night. The condo was clean and ready for our arrival. We were welcomed with a tray full of a large assortment of snacks which I thought was a nice touch. Easy two minute drive or short walk to public beach access. Easy walk down to Pirate's Cove Bar & Grill or the golf course. Good central location. My only criticism, which is a minor one, is that the bathroom needs updating. The shag bath mats need to go and a new shower curtain/rod should be installed. Overall, a great condo for a weekend getaway.

Smelled clean

House was clean and smelled good! The bed was comfortable and had plenty of towels. There was snacks and wine. The only con was that there was no blender and my daughter wanted to make smoothies. I bought a blender and left it there for the next renters. Overall it was a great and I would definitely rent it again!

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a couple of questions just before and during our stay. Quick response each time! We appreciated the treats to welcome us! The cabin was clean and stocked with what we needed for a comfortable stay! We would definitely stay again!

Amazing place to stay!

Never heard of Dauphin Island before this year. Booked this place near one of our friends and it did not disappoint. The amenities were amazing, the property owner was super helpful and nice, and it was well worth the price. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good place to stay!!

February on the island

It was clean and quiet. Beach is a close walk but the ocean is just a little farther. Would definitely recommend and will come back.

Fantastic phenomenal great wonderful

Only complaint is I’m limited to 5 stars. Exceed expectations. Every detail was attended to. The home was well equipped. We got there starving and cranky. We were surprised with a snack basket. Seems small but was extremely appreciated. She set a very high bar for short term rentals. Thank you for the experience

Great beach get away

This condo was great for our last-minute family get away. My son loved the bunk beds and we loved how it was centrally located. Would definitely here stay again.

Excellent stay

Excellent with wine and candy!! However, the contour sheets don’t fit the mattress thus in the middle of the night you have a wade of sheet under you.

BEST VRBO I’ve ever had!!

The property was very clean and well put together . The thought behind each aspect of the place made for a great experience! It was close to every beach but allowed for privacy! I would stay here every year!

Cozy quiet beach house!

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little place! The front porch is a nice place to relax and have dinner. The cabinets are very well stocked with kitchen utensils/cups/plates. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch! All in all- extremely clean, pristine and comfortable. The only thing I would say is it advertises its 2 blocks from the beach…whereas this is technically true, it’s a 0.4 mile walk to the public beach parking lot and at least another quarter mile walk from the parking lot, down the pier, walking through sand bars to get to the actual beach. It’s something we should’ve researched more, just wanted to let anyone else know about it! P.S. - if you get a chance say hi to the sweet kitty on the property! What a lovely friendly cat.
