Mermaid Cove, Windmark, St Joe Beach

This is the best beach house rental we've ever had. It was truly awesome. The house is huge, spacious, with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, very large, open dining room, family area, kitchen, and breakfast area. We loved it!!! Great location to Windmark beach, and pool too.

Perfect for a weekend wedding at Windmark Beach

The property was perfectly suited to our needs. We were down for a wedding at Windmark Beach. There was loads of room for the wedding party to get ready and the golf cart was great for running down to the venue. Everything was clean and the host was very responsive when we had a minor issue with the A/C. It was a short drive to Port Saint Joe and the restaurants and shops there.

Love this house

Love this house and everything about it, this will be our 3rd of many more stays here. The only thing I wish was different was a bigger golf cart. Once you put all the beach bags, toys, and ect there is little to no room for anything else. Other than that the house is phenomenal and you could ask for better.

Great vacation!

Upon arrival, the house was very clean and spacious! We had a bigger group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood is so nice and welcoming. We loved having access to the golf cart & bikes! It made going to the beach so much smoother for the adults & kiddos. The community pool is very nice as well. We did have a few issues with getting the correct code, but someone who also lived in the neighborhood helped us out. There is a small cafe & pizza shop in the neighborhood as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely book again!

We loved this house!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Mermaid’s Cove. The house is great, we had plenty of room for the 10 of us. The house has a great location. We could and did go to the beach daily, either by walking ( easy walk) or using the golf cart ( great to have, ). The house had lots of extras, the bikes, the paddle boards, and chairs. The house had everything we needed and more. All too often there is not enough dishes but we had plenty. The decor is wonderful, the couches were comfy. I highly recommend Mermaid’s Cove. Thanks for a wonderful beach week!

Best Vacation Ever

This was the best vacation our family has had to date! The property was truly a home-away-from-home. The thoughtfulness that went into every detail was remarkable. So much of what we needed was provided that we could have packed much lighter! There were beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrella, a golf cart to get to the beach, kayaks with life vests to ride in the bay, bicycles, etc!! This home is located in the cutest little neighborhood which is like its own little town. The golf cart was such a luxury which enabled us to keep our personal vehicle free from sand. We were also able to use it to drive to "the other side of the neighborhood" where we could stop for coffee on the way to the beach or eat dinner at night before heading back to the house. Not a single member of our family was ready to leave; our only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay. We love Mermaid Cove!

Wonderful Windmark Week

Annual family beach vacation, 4 couples and 3 children. Mermaid Cove was a perfect fit for us. Clean, comfortable and great location. The golf cart was a big plus! We had never been to PSJ and were very pleased with the Windmark Beach Community. The beaches were great. We loved the Mill Mercantile, Bruno’s Pizza and the pool. The kitchen at Mermaid Cove served us well as we all like to cook. The two restaurants we chose turned out to be bad choices. We definitely do not recommend Crazy Fish or Southern Patio….the latter was the absolute worst. The neighborhood is quiet, ride bikes a lot, nice golf cart/bike trail. We enjoyed a beach bonfire provided by Light Up the Night; complete with s’mores makings, tiki lights, illuminated toys fir the children. We highly recommend Light Up the Night. Overall, Mermaid Cove made for a fabulous vacation. We will be back. Owners were receptive and responsive when needed.

Spring break vacation

I brought my family to this property for vacation during my daughters’ spring break vacation. I was afraid it was going to be too cold to swim in the ocean so I booked this place because it had a community pool. Thankfully we were able to go to the beach and swim every day! The water was cool but bearable so it didn’t bother us that the pool wasn’t available. This property is gorgeous and well decorated! It has everything you could need and tons of space. The community is so neat and there are shops and restaurants (and the beach) close by. We used the golf cart every day to drive up and park by the walkway to the beach. The beach itself is great as well! It’s clean and not overly crowded. We saw dolphins on our first day which my kiddos loved! We did have a minor issue where we couldn’t access the golf cart key because the code had changed. I messaged Liz and she responded quickly with the new code. We would absolutely rent this property again!

Great house & accommodations

Our family of 6 adults and 5 young children loved this house and it’s extras. Golf cart, bicycles, beach items were a big plus. The pool, beach walking path, little shops and restaurants were nice. The distance to Mexico beach and port St. Joe was just a close easy drive. The owners were the best and very quick to help when needed.

Most Wonderful House and Vacation Ever!

I can't express how nice of a vacation this was for many reasons. The owners are amazing and so helpful. The house was absolutely amazing. The layout was perfect, the decor was beautiful and relaxing. You couldn't ask for a better location. You have all you need in one community. They have food, shopping, and a clubhouse pool. The beach is only a short walk away. The golf cart was such a wonderful feature. We loved riding around at night to explore the community. Everyone was super friendly and the area felt so safe. I can really not say enough great things about this house and our experience.

Heaven!!

I rented this for a girls trip and it couldn’t have been more perfect!! Absolutely everything you could ever want for a beach trip is at the house. We grocery shopped once at the local Piggly Wiggly and cooked all meals but one. Kitchen has everything you need. We used the golf cart everyday to get to the beach. The house is new so it’s basically immaculate. Washer and dryer and large laundry room came in super handy. Owners were very responsive to messages. This house is BEAUTIFUL. Will definitely be back!!

Great house with all the amenities that were needed. House very spacious with more then enough parking but, only allowed 3 cars. Neighbors tending to other people business other then their own. Dog cramp on lawn not being picked up.

Mermaid Cove at Landmark Beach

Our family stay was wonderful! Beautiful home, in a quiet beautiful community. The home is a comfortable home for a large family, multi generations or multi families. Awesome open floor plan and layout with space for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, gadgets, pots and supplies. Huge kitchen island with seating and a large dining room table along with a kitchen table. Living room area has lots of comfortable seating. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed. TV’s in every room. Every convenience you could want - bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and golf cart. The main street restaurants and stores offer awesome pizza, seafood, ice cream or cocktails and music. Great water sports and beach rental store with activities for all ages. Beautiful pool and surrounding area with a playground. Quiet private beach area, boardwalks to ride bikes or walk. Our family is looking forward to going back soon!
